Lake side house rentals in Otsego Lake

We chose this location for the lake views and we were amazed at how striking the place is. You have your own private access to the lake. I discovered my son loves fishing, and we are planning to give him the opportunity to continue exploring that new passion. Tammy was kind, communicative, and gave us very clear instructions. There are many hiking trails in the area, and striking views everywhere you go. I recommend Tammy's place.

Had a wonderful stay at Fabio’s place. The view of the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and kitchen is well-appointed. Fabio provided timely and useful information and quickly responded to questions.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Spruce Lake Cabin. The lake was extremely peaceful and, despite the rainy weekend, was still very enjoyable on the deck. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the kayak! Jacqui was extremely friendly and communicative from the beginning. I’m hoping to plan another stay!

Thank you, Brent and family for a great stay near Cooperstown. The home had everything we needed for a party of 10 that included young kids. Brent was very responsive throughout the entire stay and was a great host! The home is right on the river and had kayaks and canoes available for guests. We took advantage of the bbq in the backyard. The rooms were clean and large enough for everyone to fit in comfortably. Plenty of bathrooms for all! We enjoyed our stay!

The house was absolutely perfect and was exactly as advertised. Catherine did an amazing job with all the personal touches to the house that made us feel right at home and was super responsive. We would definitely rent her place again. Thank you!!!

It’s a wonderful cabin by the lake. The place is very warm in the winter and is spacious for a family. The location is quite close to Windham mountain ski resort and only a short drive. I could see the surrounding will be beautiful in the spring or summer. Very private. The host is very responsive and kind.

Fell in love with this lake house. It was a surprise for our mom for Mother’s Day. She loved her vacation as we all did. It’s a perfect retreat on the water with beautiful sunsets and lots of wildlife to watch and the sounds of nature were so lovely. A real gem this place is so much so we reserved an extra night. None of us wanted to leave and we all look forward to returning again soon. The home and all amenities were perfect as was the host . Thank you.

Barbara’s home was beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice. The home is beautifully updated, well maintained, and very clean. They have plenty of amenities and household/outdoor items that you need for a stay at the lake. It is a great property. We will definitely be repeat renters 😊

We comfortably fit all 14 of us for our stay in this lovely home. The river it was on was a beautiful addition to the beautiful home. Host was very helpful and responsive when needed. Easy entrance into the home. Lots of space, and comfortable beds. we will definitely stay here again, and we will highly recommend this home to others staying in and around Oneonta or Cooperstown. We stayed Here for our daughters family weekend at SUNY Oneonta, it was the perfect location. Also very quiet n private as well. Thank you Host Gerald!!

Beautiful house, the view from the lake is beautiful, since the weather messed up a bit our stay the game room give us a lot of fun. Definitely looking forward to come back in the summer. The host was very responsive and helpful. No complaints in my end. I read in some others reviews people complained about the smell on the water and yes is best to bring your drinking water which Mairlana did to us that recommendation. Other than that the house was perfect.

Great Catskills getaway. Peaceful and private, yet easy to find. Relax and do nothing or stay active. There is plenty to do at this location even for an extended stay, both inside and outside. Very comfortable house with all the creature comforts. Great layout for social get togethers or some private time in the multi-level house. The house is clean and comfortable and easy to impress and unwind. Everything is in good working order from the outside grill to the Air conditioning. Easy check in with great communications from the host.

A beautiful spot! We enjoyed overlooking the water at sunrise and sunset. Lucy is a wonderful host and made us feel welcome.

We had a great Memorial Day weekend at YBs place! The house is huge. Common areas are spacious, kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was lovely and warm. Fire pit area was great with lots of firewood and lighters. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean. Would just remember to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Was so great being right on the river, we were able to fish right from the yard. Host was responsive and kind. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Prasanna's place. The home has all the features to entertain young and all. The area is surrounded by open, green spaces, giving a very pleasant feel of peacefulness and relaxation. The home is fully equipped with plenty of the necessary tools to make the stay super comfortable. The bedrooms are nice and a good size to accomodate a larger group, and the decoration in general aims for comfort and harmonious feel. The recreation room downstairs is a nice bonus, especially on rainy days.

Our group at a great time at Nataliya’s in Hunter! The lake was absolutely the highlight, we made full use of the kayaks. Hunter itself is a little sleepy even when we went in May but we enjoyed exploring it and nearby Leeds and Tannersville.

Had an amazing time staying at the property! The views are breathtaking and space is something you have to see for yourself! We had a small wedding of 50 people and amos accommodated us completely! We will never forget our stay! I would give this a 1 million star if I could!!

My family's second visit to this beautiful gem overlooking the mountains and frozen pond. Our hosts are highly communicative and helpful. The description is accurate. Considering our 2nd visit and rebooked for 3rd in 2026 - this speaks volumes -- more than meets our needs, well stocked. We're looking forward to visiting during the summer months to further appreciate the views. Grateful to them for sharing their home with us.

Very comfortable house with cozy furniture and a homey feel. Thoughtful touches like the wifi code on an easy to see plaque. Pretty view from the deck and the barbecue was nice to have. Felt like staying in a friend’s home. Host friendly and clear with instructions. Hope to stay here again!

We just finished a two month rental of John’s wonderful home. Our family of 5 used the home primarily on the weekends when we were enjoying ski season at Belleayre Mountain. I can’t say enough great things about this home. Our family felt totally at home - every aspect was perfectly maintained and the home maximized comfort. Our favorite part of the home was the great room where we would watch movies on the huge family sofa in front of a crackling fire. It was the perfect way to end a day of skiing. Our kids loved the downstairs family room with the foosball table and there were lots of games to play and keep everyone busy and entertained. And the kitchen is huge and very well stocked with all the appliances you will ever need. So it was a fantastic 2 months and we look forward to renting this property again!
