Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Old Town, Alexandria

My husband and I spent 11 nights with my parents at Andrew's Falls Church home. Andrew was very responsive when a few minor questions came up. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs. The two beds we used were comfortable. As my folks no longer do stairs well, we felt fortunate to find a single level home that only required a few steps to enter the house and one step up into the primary suite that also has a walk-in shower. I really appreciated that there was adequate supplies for our stay, like dishwasher and laundry detergent, paper towels and toilet paper, not just starter supplies like some hosts. Enjoyed the nice TVs with steaming in the living room and primary suite. There are great directions in the house with the house info, you'll need and Andrew did a stellar job of communicating.

Given graduation on the East coast, location in Arlington/proximity to Georgetown, size and location of Tyler’s home, the value was worth the price! Coming from the Midwest, all was intimidating at first, but we wanted a comfortable, substantial place that would provide true bedroom spaces and adequate bathrooms for each pairing in the family. Tyler’s place did that plus offered two living areas, a large dining and spacious kitchen for conversation, food spread, cooking, mingling, celebrating, etc. We couldn’t have been more pleased with all of the spaces!

Fantastic host. Very responsive. House is fantastic. Stayed with my mother & daughter for the weekend. All of the bedrooms were clean and as described. Towels provided. Pillows were comfy :) House looks like the pics. Very clean and updated. No issues getting in/out. With 3 of us staying at the house, made it easy. We are able to use the kitchen, cable/chromecast and also the washing machine. Looking forward to coming back to DC for another trip when the Mets are in town and will 100% try to book. The space was exactly what was listed. It was perfect for an extended weekend. The washer/dryer was a nice addition and the neighborhood was very walkable for morning walks. Thank you, Ryan, for sharing your home with us!

We've stayed at Kopal's quite a few times - very peaceful neighborhood, very close to Lake Artemisia, which is lovely for walking, also very close to College Park. Great location. The house is always very clean, well-equipped and Kopal is so responsive.

Another mom and I were planning a visit with 4 teenagers to DC with our goal being to find someplace to stay overnight that would be close to a Metro station that would take us easily to Metro Centre. We arrived around 9pm and found everything just as described. We took a quick trip to Amazon Fresh (an adventure) and allowed the 4 teens to walk there (.5 mile walk) as we felt very comfortable with the neighborhood. We had plenty of space, and everything was clean. Appreciated having coffee available for our early morning departure! We checked out at 9am the following morning with just a short drive to the Bethesda Metro Station. Only minor suggestion would be to have instructions as to where the trash/recycling bins are located. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The place was just as described. Nice and clean with plenty of space. Perfect for 9 people. Great location in Arlington with restaurants and bars walking distance and it was very easy to get a quick uber ride into DC. Driveway fit 3 vehicles and street parking was also available. Kelly was very responsive throughout the weekend including when we briefly lost power on the block. Would definitely stay again if going to DC with a large group!

My family and I rented this space for a weekend getaway. It was an incredible space in an awesome location! We have a large family with kids ranging from 2-12 and it was great for all ages!

I had a quick work trip and short stay. I got in late so I wasn't able to meet Harrison in person, but he gave me very clear directions for a self-check in and everything worked out great. Would stay again.

This was probably the first Airbnb we stayed where we wouldn't have been upset if it rained! The unit has such a wonderful eclectic feel with so many little treasures to enjoy. From opening the gate and walking through the landscaping of hidden fountains, yard art, and inviting spaces to the beautifully furnished living space w/ gas fire place , spacious bedroom with a plush bed, all was a delight! Walking distance from an amazing park with pickleball & trails to DC, too easy to get around! LOVED it & look forward to another stay!!

We spent 4 days site-seeing in DC and Lily's location was perfect, being just off the Richmond Hwy it was easy to get to by car. We paid an additional fee for parking under the building which was well worth it given the convenience. The Crystal City Metro station, with both the Yellow and Blue lines, was a very short walk away and could even be accessed via an underground walkway system just outside the building. Also just a block or two outside the building was a movie theatre and several bars/restaurants. Having breakfast on the 14th floor balcony was a great start each morning before heading to Metro to start the day's adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

Lower ground floor of a nice house with an accessible outside charming patio. Very nice, comfortable and spacious apartment. Extremely clean. Very well located near Logan circle, close to restaurants and touristic attractions. Walkable everywhere . Hudson was a very nice, responsive and helpful host.

Great Bed, firm and comfortable. Beautiful garden with koi pond! Sweet, private location. Adam was a friendly and kind host. Will rent again if ever in the area.

Jennifer’s place was wonderful! We had a great stay here, and it was in a nice part of town. Plenty of places to eat as well. The apartment was as described.

This was our first time in Washington DC. This location is great with close access to the Capitol and surrounding monuments and museums. Elizabeth is very kind and helpful with places to go and things to do. There is a great neighborhood breakfast shop very close by and easy access to the subway and shared ride companies are easy to use at this location. The apartment is very cute, comfortable, and clean and Elizabeth provided many amenities to make our stay easy and comfortable. If we come back to visit DC, we will definitely look to stay here again! We have even recommended to our kids the next time they visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay Elizabeth!!
