The Quick Getaway: Entire house on private lake!

We loved this place and location. If you are looking for a scenic place to relax, this is your place. It was quiet, the experience is well thought out and communicated by the host. Nothing is unclear, or confusing. I wish I could have stayed a week or so to read all the books, see the ducks and turtles every day! We would love to come back and enjoy again!

My Happy Place Lakeside - Waterfront Retreat

My family and I stayed here over Easter weekend for a mini reunion. The 5 bedrooms accommodated everyone easily and r he kids loved staying together in the bunk bed room. There was plenty of room in all of the common areas for our family to hang out and play games. The kids also loved being on the lake and playing on the GIANT water mat! The backyard was perfect for our Easter egg hunt and we spent a large majority of our time out on the back porch talking and hanging out. The neighbors were friendly and respectful and the location was great as well. We found we were only 10 minutes away from HEB, Kroger, CVS, and Walgreens. Our family has already expressed interest in staying here again. We look forward to returning in the near future!

This is a great gem in Somerville! Super close to Somerville Birch Creek State Park and quiet neighborhood with deer!! Love the closed gate to let our dog run freely and the fire pit was awesome! Lots of extra towels and the place has been newly renovated so nice appliances and furniture, linens, etc. They listed the nearest emergency centers, restaurants, and things to do (go to Las Fuentes if you like Mexican and jumbo margs!).

More Cowbell is like visiting that favorite lived in home that's clean, organized and has just been waiting for you to arrive!
