Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Newark

Bill and Sandi treated me as if I were family! But... they failed to mention how BEAUTIFUL their neighborhood is! There are 3 gorgeous horses across the way, friendly cats, and even turkeys!! I was welcome to use the hot tub anytime I wanted and they even got me a bottle of wine. I'm definitely returning soon. xxx

Perfect size for one person. Loved the nearby coffee shops. Having access to the garage across the street made parking very convenient. In the downtown area so very walkable with lots of great architecture to look at

Sue’s place had great views and that cozy cabin feel. She was a great host and was very willing to accommodate us. The Airbnb was exactly as it was described. The surrounding town was also beautiful and had excellent places to eat. Well worth the stay.

Pyle Cottage is adorable! A quaint little place that had everything we needed, from a comfortable bed and full kitchen to quiet surroundings and places to walk our dog! Kathleen was a wonderful host. She greeted us when we arrived, even though we were hours late! Her dogs, cats and horses were a wonderful addition. We had a great stay!

This cottage was the perfect respite for my family. The big panoramic window that looked out over the water was perfect. The house was so comfortable and the hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend a stay here. There isn’t a lot to do in the immediate area, but the university of Delaware was 20 minutes away and Baltimore an hour south. It was a perfect house for a long weekend getaway.

What can I say. This property is incredible. This is clearly a loved home, and every detail has been thought of. From a fully equipped kitchen, to beautiful home decor, it has everything. The location is great. We were any place we wanted to be within a 10-20 minute drive. Our pups loved having the fenced in back yard to play in, this also reduced a tremendous amount of stress on us, as we knew they were safe! The hot tub is an amazing addition! Overall, the property was extremely clean, well maintained, and a great place to rent for a few days. Michele was an amazing host from pre-booking to post vacation. She had local recommendations, she was super responsive (we didn't need her for anything, but knew she was right there), and just a kind and thoughtful person. We were greeted with an anniversary sign, an Easter basket filled with treats, and some much more. We highly recommend this host and her property. We will certainly be back! Thank you for an amazing time.

A real home away from home! An adorable space in a beautiful location. Very well appointed and comfortable home and Troy was very helpful, responsive and friendly.

Daniels cottage was cozy and comfortable, very clean, and the fire pit and hot tub were a real bonus! Located near some unique shopping and entertainment.

Charming place in the heart of Lancaster! Diner 2 doors down was perfect for breakfast and baked goods. Hot tub was a nice bonus, and we enjoyed it very much on the chilly evenings. The only issue was that the front bedroom was particularly loud one night - lots of trucks and horses kept my cousin awake. Perhaps it was just a busy night (the second night was not as loud), and a city dweller (me) might not be bothered, but it was an unexpected surprise. Everything else was great! It was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a nice weekend in Amish country!

Beautiful house right on the water. The view over the river is breathtaking. I don't know if you get used to it if you live there, but it was a wonder every morning when seeing it or when coming back to the large living space.

This place was amazing to stay at! We loved the huge kitchen and there was plenty of space for our family of five. Our kids had a great time running around the big backyard and we went on several walks around the local neighbourhood, which was very picturesque and peaceful. What a lovely place to visit!

The house was perfect. Clean, neat and comfortable. So beautifully situated at the lake. The outside was wonderful. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. A great stay!

The photos didn’t come close to this amazing property’s beauty! Spacious, bright and very welcoming for our family. Although we were a bit early for any usage of the pool, and the weather wasn’t too great, it was still lovely. Even had a resident little green frog swimming around who came up to tell my daughter ‘hello!’- we named him Henry! David was extra kind and very responsive during our stay. I would highly recommend this space and rent again if in need of the area.

House and property are immaculate. Hosts have done an amazing job bringing this property back to all its glory. House has everything you could ask for and move, would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to return!

A great sunset view from the balcony, such a nice quiet river/bay beach, peaceful community to walk around. Would stay in again! Would note there’s 1 flight of stairs up as it’s a 2nd floor condo of sorts; and a big hill/stairs down to the beach. However, also a parking lot if needed to drive to the beach. Beach chairs were nice to have. There was no cooking oil but I think we left some :) I would only ask they replace the dining room chair with the hole in the seat. The pool was closed and that was not expected! Adam was very responsive when we messaged.

Absolutely breathtaking view out the back door. So much fun fishing off the dock on the property. The pool was amazing but only got to use it one day due to weather. We went for walks daily so peaceful not much traffic our doxy loved it! Great pet friendly home. Has a fireplace that we used one night as well! There is just so much to say about this home away from home! We will definitely be renting it again! Brian was an absolute pleasure to talk to and he responded back very quickly. Thanks Brian we look forward to working with you again soon.

My family and I stayed at Todd’s for a visit to Dutch Wonderland. It was fantastic. The house is unique and beautiful. Great movies, games, coffee table books. My kids loved playing in the basement. My husband loved playing great tunes on the record player. It was too cold for us to spend time outside, but in warmer weather the back yard would be amazing. Todd was very communicative and made us feel extremely welcome. Highly recommend!

Carol and her husband are very nice. The house is very good. My friends and I like this house.

The property was really nice. It was fairly private and was next to a stream and right on the river. Kitchen was stocked really nicely. Beds were comfy and bedrooms were nicely decorated. Loved the deck and access to water. Ample parking for all our guests. Towels and linens were provided and nice. We had a few small issues and Edwin addressed them immediately. Having kayaks and lifejackets was a nice bonus. There was a blue heron that was at the property every day and on our last morning, we watched a bald eagle dive into the water while it was fishing. It flew around awhile and sat in trees near us. Beautiful location for sure!

This place is so amazing! Only stayed for a night but could have stayed longer. Wait until you check out the stairs!

Amy place was cute and very clean. My kids thought they were at a beach house. It gave a great vibe. There are trains that come throughout the night, so don't forget to use the sound machinea and ear plugs. They had water and snacks for us when we arrived which was very thoughtful. We would stay here again.

This cozy storybook cottage was just perfect for us. It had everything we needed and honestly was much cuter than the pictures. Plenty of hot water and towels. Love the slate roof! It was just us two but would be perfect for two couples. My husband was in town for a conference in Eden and it was a perfect location for us, bonus points for letting our terrier come along. It rained a lot but we still had an enjoyable time. Area backs up to a golf course, yards in this neighbor are so green and beautiful. No sidewalks, but not much traffic, so still easy to walk the dog. We went to the Central Market on Sat. Very nice! My favorite thing was just driving around on the curvy, hilly beautiful countryside, stopping in small markets ran by the Amish. Great flowers/plants! Amazing desserts. Our favorite place to eat was Gracie’s on Main about 15-20 min away, Very casual. I would definitely stay here again. I know the autumn must be spectacular! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

James's home was very well maintained. We enjoyed the neighborhood and found it convenient to get to a variety of restaurants. We were happy we could walk to appointments at the Hospital of the University Pennsylvania and Penn's campus. We would love to stay here again if we are in Philadelphia.

Clearly Kristin put a lot of thought and care into this lovely little antique row home. The space is light and bright and clean and extremely well-provisioned. The basket next to the front door with umbrellas and a dog towel was especially nice for our long, soggy walks this weekend! We had a small issue (not the host's fault) related to debris left by construction workers at the house next door, and Kristin responded immediately and handled everything appropriately. The neighborhood is charming and vibrant and very walkable - a perfect place for a relaxed extended weekend getaway. Highly recommend!
