Farmstay vacation rentals in Nebraska

Wanda and Mike went above and beyond to make my time with them special, and they have to be the kindest, most welcoming hosts out there! It was great to share conversations and laughs with them over dinner and breakfast (both wonderfully prepared by Wanda), and it was so fun to have the chance to feed their cows out in the field. I stopped in Nebraska as part of a longer road trip, but getting to meet them would have made the trip worth it alone. The bedroom and bathroom were also spacious, clean, and comfortable, and Wanda gave great, detailed directions to make arrival, check-in, and parking super easy. Would definitely recommend a stay!

Had a great stay at Karen’s place outside Seward. We used it as a launch pad for our wedding and Karen was very accommodating with letting our photographer stop by for getting ready pictures. They actually left a bouquet out for the bride which was a very nice gesture. All in all very clean and homey country home. Thanks Karen!

Connie is wonderful and kind. She made me feel welcomed immediately. pictures match the description. loved the serenity that the property gave. recommend showing up before the sun goes down...you are going to travel some dirt roads. I would and will definitely stay again!

The Grain Bin was just what we needed. Adorable! Thoughtful decor with super attention to every detail. White glove clean. Great bed - we were there with no itinerary but to relax. We slept nearly 12 hours the first night. Lovely hosts. Delicious breakfasts with a creative menu and generous portions. We ate breakfast on the deck outside the bedroom and were serenaded by roosters in the distance and so many singing birds. Kay & Jim made us feel at home and gave great recommendations of where to go and what to do. We had a marvelous time! Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay. Though its only 20 mins from downtown, this is as a close as anything to being out in the boonies and we loved every second of it

The ranch house was perfect for our larger family to gather. Marty was always responsive and even let us know of potential bad weather. The views are beautiful and I wish we’d had longer to explore.

Wonderful place to stay for a price comparable to the same number of hotel rooms. Nice private feeling in the country but only 1/4 mile off of paved roads. Perfect for a sandhills crane experience and less than 15 minutes from the crane trust as well as 2 public viewing sites. Host was very responsive and pleasant. Would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area.

Located a couple minutes from Burwell and ~10 minutes from the Calamus Reservoir, it was a simple & convenient base of operations for us to do a quick family trip to Calamus. Everything as described, and at a reasonable price. Unrelated to this specific house or host, the flies in the area were pretty overwhelming in number - would recommend travelers to the area planning/packing supplies accordingly. Andrea had some bug spray out for us, which was nice to have.

Love it!! Booked later in the evening as I needed a place close to Schuyler and Columbus Nebraska to spend time with my boyfriend. It was pouring rain and she met me with a smile because I could not figure out the door and it’s not the door it was me. Everything was amazing. So many small details definitely not overlooked by Rose. Quiet, comfortable, and cozy rainy night. Don’t forget she has farm fresh eggs in the fridge (she puts the dates the eggs were laid 🥹). I highly recommend it if you need a place that has casino down the road with great food, outdoors, and peace and quiet. This is the place. Thank you so much, Rose 🌹

Our family felt right at home at Kurt’s place. It felt private and was very clean. The home was nicer than the pictures make it appear. Kurt was very accommodating. We enjoyed watching the bunnies and wild turkeys each morning as we sipped coffee. If we are back in the area again, we would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Cindy's place for 2.5 months. We had the best time and amazing views. We felt right at home. Anytime we needed something, Cindy was always responsive. She went above and beyond for us. Will definitely stay again one day and have told others about her place 💕

Absolutely amazing stay! The home is spacious to accommodate larger families, and they have the most gorgeous property views! Rooms, bed linens, towels, etc. were clean. Check in/out process was easy and fast. We felt super comfortable and safe and look forward to future stays here.

I have stayed with Denice many times. Her property is perfect for our use. Very comfortable and clean. Denice is an awesome host. Will be back again next year.

This place has an amazing view - quiet with lots of rabbits and beautiful pheasants. Our host was responsive and even allowed us to arrive a little early. WiFi was great and it felt like home. The house is in the process of being renovated so there are signs of work being done - a little rough here and there, but it was fine for us and the price was right. It did rain a lot while we were there - so the dirt roads were a little tricky for our Toyota - but the drive way had black rock so we were fine once we got there.

Third time staying here and we will keep coming back! Great place to hang out after a day of fishing!!

My long term stay in Henderson, NE was made a dream come true while staying at Road 6 Farmhouse! Barb is an incredible host - always responsive and more than happy to help with any concerns that arose during my stay. The house is absolutely beautiful! Extremely comfortable and I felt as though I had everything I needed to make my stay the most enjoyable experience.
