Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Museum District, Richmond

The place was just as described and conveniently located near many stores and restaurants. However, the surrounding area felt quite sketchy — with several abandoned and vandalized buildings nearby. Being close to a police station means you’ll hear sirens frequently, both day and night. The neighbors were also quite loud at night with frequent parties, and there was a lot of smoke drifting onto the patio, which made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. That said, the unit itself was very nice, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. 5 stars for the apartment but 3 stars for the surroundings.

I can’t rave enough about my stay for almost two months at Shaniesha’s place. It was warm and inviting and all I had to do was bring my clothes. It was well stocked and everything was so clean and pristine. She was always available for questions and was a pleasure to talk to. I will not stay anywhere else if I need to in that area. She was a 5 ⭐️ hands down.

Great location quick walk to every place we wanted to go in the area. Nice space great for two people.

Love this place! I stayed in Richmond for my son’s volleyball tournament. The historic house had a nice, clean interior. The location and parking were great. The only issue was the noise—if you’re sensitive to sound, be aware that barking from the neighbor’s dog and car or motorcycle noise could be heard in the room even after midnight.

This simple condo was clean and suited our business purpose, but it's quite sparse regarding extra features, or kitchen supplies. It was clean and Christian was pleasant, and communicated very well - even trying to replace a piece of furniture during our 3 day stay. Only note for single women or families - the neighborhood isn't the nicest, there's a good number of vagrants. But, it wasn't unsafe, we had no issues. If you just need a clean & quiet place to stay near Richmond, it worked great!

This was a simple place for a nice stay in the area! There is some good food around, but mainly we booked for a private spot with a lot of beds. It was very clean and stocked with all you would need in a kitchen.

I stayed here with my family for a wedding. It was just perfect. The house felt like home. Wonderful area too...restaurants, and grocery store close by. Host was great as well! Staying here allowed for my family to stay together and not be cramped up in a hotel. Thank you so much!

Adorable, impeccably clean home! We used it to gather as family for my son's college graduation and it couldn't have been better. Easy access to University of Richmond and surrounding areas. Accessing the back parking lot is a little precarious the first time, but once you know how to access the lot, it makes the house 100x more accessible! Yurim was friendly and responsive to every message I sent (thank you!). I would highly recommend this home and owner should the space accommodate your needs!

We were in town for a wedding celebration. It was easy to get everywhere from the house. Plenty of room. Appreciated having room for a small dog.

Reagan's place is a great centrally located base of operations if you're visiting downtown Richmond. It's clean quiet and secure. Access to the building and parking are a little tricky but she's provided very detailed instructions that make it easy. Although our stay was brief, Reagan was a lovely host, a pleasure to meet, and very responsive. Highly recommended for RVA visits!

Great place to stay because you're just a few short blocks away from Cary Street, where there are lots of great stores and restaurants. We walked over several times to get coffee and go to a restaurant, and then shopping the next morning. The apartment is not "new" -- it's in one of the many old houses that line the street. But it was fun and had some character. The bed might be a little soft for some people, but I was comfortable.

Absolutely loved my stay! The location is super convenient with a bus stop literally right outside the door—made getting around a breeze. The space is bright and airy thanks to a beautiful large window, and I adored the quirk hotel lobby bar next door for a nightcap. The host was incredibly proactive, responsive, and made check-in super flexible and easy. Great stay.

I stayed for two nights and found the location to be very suitable for why I was in town. It was a nice walk to get to the art gallery for the Frida exhibition. The washing machine and dryer were such a useful part of the accommodation and easy to use. Whilst there weren’t a lot of options in terms of pans I was able to cook a simple meal which was nice after a week of eating sandwiches in hotel rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. These are the big issues for me. It was a perfectly nice stay and I would gladly stay again. Oh, having access to Netflix was marvellous. Thank you.

This charming place is in a lovely neighborhood in Richmond and was perfect for my family's stay. If you're traveling with a pet, the fenced in backyard is wonderful, and my dog enjoyed it. The place was exactly as described, and the availability of parking was great. Also, the hosts were incredibly kind and communicative. We would absolutely stay here again!

Another great stay at Byron’s. I even ended up missing my train home, and he graciously let me stay several hours later than the usual checkout time to wait for the next train. I could not be more appreciative!

Comfortable place in a great location. Rooftop deck has great views of the neighborhood and sunset. Place was comfortable and clean, with character, fitting for an old city building, like old tile fireplaces and gas lamps, heart pine floors. Loved it!
