Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Mount Desert Island

I chose the place to stay for a reunion with two close friends I had not seen in ten years. The three of us decided it was time for a "ladies only" vacation where we could relax and spend time making new memories together. Staying at Ryan's house meant we had a wonderful hot tub to soak in and comfortable furnishings that included a massage chair. If we had chosen to have our reunion later in the summer the in-ground swimming pool would have been the perfect way to spend an afternoon. We enjoyed our morning coffee and conversation sitting beside the pool and it looked really clean and inviting (just a bit cold). The neighborhood was quiet, and people we saw were very friendly. We spent time in downtown Bangor visiting the shops, and ate in awesome restaurants. Ryan made sure we had everything we could possible need, and it was the perfect spot to spend time with old friends.

Beautiful space to get away from it all while still being close to everything! Entrances to Acadia National Park were literally around the corner and the cute town of Bar Harbor was just a 3 minute drive! The house decor was fresh, clean, and very inviting. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and backyard. We were happy to get great weather while we were there, but if it hadn’t worked out that way there were so many games and books we would have still had a great time!

My friends and I had an excellent stay! The house is located at a beautiful spot by the water and the amenities are fantastic. We had a small issue with the shower and the hosts responded quickly and sent over a very kind handyman right away. Thank you so much Wanda and Patrick; we would absolutely recommend your home!

Nikki‘s place is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place local to Bucksport or surrounding areas. The house is so well equipped, like walking into my own home. The knives are sharp and the pans are top-notch; house honestly has everything you can imagine from art supplies and coloring books to a pile of board games. The beds are memory foam and some are more firm than others meeting a variety of preferences. Lots of towels and household supplies are provided! Spices, oils, vinegars, and some condiments made it easy to pick up a load of groceries and be good to go for our week long stay. Nikki had bug spray, sunblock, grocery bags… honestly, she has everything! She was also incredibly responsive to every message I sent and helped troubleshoot a minor wifi outage super quick. Everyone we had over complimented how cute the decor was and was so impressed with the house overall. I feel like this place is exactly what Airbnb started as! No wonder why reviews are 5*!

This luxurious cabin was perfect! Walking distance to a beautiful lighthouse and nestled back in the woods. The hot tub was a bonus after the long day of work/play. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living space had ample room. Clean and new furniture. The beds were super comfortable. We'll definately be back.

This place was amazing and just what was needed to escape the craziness of day to day life. My husband and I went for our anniversary and it was the most peaceful time we’ve had in a while. The house was beautiful and having a hot tub that overlooks the beautiful landscape was perfect. We wanted to spend the weekend at the house to relax, but if you need anything the neighborhood market has everything you need which is only a few miles away. We will definitely be back soon.

My husband and I rented this house so our nephew and his young son could visit with us. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Danielle was always responsive to questions and we were close to beautiful outdoor spaces.

We loved our stay at this charming lakeside cabin! The perfect blend of rustic appeal and modern comforts made it an ideal getaway. While it felt authentically cozy and tucked away, the thoughtful amenities—like reliable Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, and an easy-to-use coffee machine—made our trip stress-free and enjoyable. The outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit, especially situated right next to the fire pit—there's nothing quite like soaking under the stars after roasting marshmallows by the campfire. Mornings were just as memorable, sipping coffee from the swinging bench overlooking a truly stunning lake view. The location was also ideal, just a short drive from fun eateries in Bar Harbor and the beautiful trails of Acadia National Park, offering us plenty of opportunities for exploration. The hosts were fantastic, quickly responding to all our questions and making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this spot!

I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

The cabin in Penobscot was exactly what we needed for a quick trip away. Not only was it quiet and peaceful, but the cabin itself was beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and extremely comfortable. We came up to Maine to see Acadia and Bar Harbor, and while they were a bit of a drive away, it was an easy and scenic drive. The cabin is perfect for couples and families alike, and we can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Everything was clean and exactly like the pictures. 10 out of 10 would stay again.

We loved it, if felt like home! We had a great time, kayaking, star gazing, sitting around the campfire and just relaxing. We also visited Acadia National Park. We had plenty of room for our family, 6 adults and 2 children. Thank you!

There is not a corner of this place that I would describe as boring! Everything was perfect and exactly how we imagined. Host was always communicative, helpful, and accommodating through the entirety of our stay. I hope to get the opportunity to come back! 10/10
