Cabin vacation rentals in Mosquito Lagoon

This was our 2nd trip to Salt Lake Springs and we were excited to know that Sherrie's cabin was available for the dates we were visiting! This was our 2nd stay at Sherrie's cabin and we must say, it felt like home. Sherrie is a great host and as our trip got closer, Sherrie kept in touch with us to make sure we had a smooth check-in. The cabin was clean and had all the items needed to make sure we were comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The view of the Lake and sunset from the cabin is just impeccable. It's very close to all the springs and hiking trails in the Ocala Forest. We will definitely stay here again and again. Ocala Forest is one of our favorite places and staying in Sherrie's cabin makes it even better. See you again soon! Willie and Debbie

Me and my wife absolutely loved this stay! It had such a cozy vibe to it, and it was presented beautifully, I would recommend it to anyone else.

Amazing place! We even had a bear visitor, saw three deer on the side of the road coming back one night, and a baby alligator.

Tonya was an excellent host. She had everything arranged for our arrival and met us at the entrance to the resort. Tonya was easily accessible by phone for questions. She was quick to respond when we needed replacement of supplies . She is a very friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning !

I am going to say thank you again to Vicki. he was an outstanding host. and if you love privacy with the conveniences of everything. this cabin is a great place to stay. it has everything you need without being in the hustle and bustle of everything else. Wow! Cabin was amazing! Had everything we needed. Very clean and cozy! Everyone there at the camp site was so nice! Was able to dock my boat on the water 30 ft. from the cabin. East to load and unload everyday. They have their own store with live bait. Everything you would need. If you love inlet fishing or canoeing with the manatees in the mangroves I recommend you to have a stay!

Amazing little gem of a place. I was in town with my son for a Highschool fishing tournament and this place was exactly what we needed. Very clean. Host was so helpful and responsive. I will stay again next time I am in town.

Beds were comfortable, nice layout. We loved the screened in porch. We arrived late and coffee set up was all there. Aida was very thoughtful, even leaving us a cooler, beach blanket and umbrella for our beach day. A little drive to restaurants but the accommodations are well worth it.

I had a delightful stay at Thalía's Airbnb! The space was cute and cozy, with a modern touch that made it feel like a little retreat. The shower was a highlight—like a massage and sauna all in one! Thalía was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfy getaway!

Booked the Magical Cabin for a girls weekend and it was just as described! Beautiful landscapes and a nice, magical stay. We loved the cabin and how close it was to so many great amenities and towns. We hope to stay there again in the future.

This was our second stay at Maribel's place. We love it! The backyard is perfect for our dog. The space is cozy and well-equipped (we made all our meals). The neighborhood is quiet. It's close to a dog park and pickleball courts. Maribel is a great communicator--helpful, responsive, and kind. We love the place and will definitely come back.

Only stayed one night, but would stay again for sure. Lovely, small, private place. Was raining on a spring afternoon when arrived. Door was open and everything was ready for us. Very responsive host, kind and informative. Everything was clean. Extra blankets. Fenced in all the way, quiet neighborhood. I had dogs with me and it was great for them. They don’t have a stove but have a 1 burner (like a camp electric burner) for your use. Water gets HOT HOT. Overall, peaceful place to yourself to listen to the birds and wind through the trees. We will definitely stay again, in the future and will recommend to friends and family. {WAS able to get some service}

We had such a peaceful and pleasant stay at Kimi's farmhouse. Bathroom was spotless and pristine, and the environment is quiet and beautiful. We caught Kimi outside and she gave us a super cool tour of her microgreens farm/garden. She even let us eat some of the edible flowers that she grew. It was the perfect balance of being surrounded by nature in the middle of nowhere, but you could also drive 8 minutes to the grocery store and other restaurants. Would absolutely book again in a heartbeat. P.S. Kimi's dog, Gemma, is the cutest dog ever.

Our trip was planned primarily for bass fishing all around Lake Kerr. Michael’s place offered a great launching point for us and we were able to dock the boat in the canal right in the back of the cabin. Could not ask for a better set up!

This was by far my favorite Airbnb experience yet! The moment I opened the front door, I was completely taken aback. The care and attention to detail in this place were evident right away. It was the perfect spot for a solo vacation, with total privacy. Watching the wildlife outside was the highlight of my day, adding to the overall sense of calm and peace. If you’re looking for a serene getaway, this is it. I will definitely be back!

Everything was great! Just as described, lovely place.

My mom, sister and I had an idyllic stay at Tommy's cabin on the river adjacent to Blue Springs State Park. The location was private, on a beautiful wooded bank of the St Johns River with daily visits from the resident armadillo to make us smile as he foraged about in the brush. Lots of bird activity can be viewed here, from inside the screen porch, or anywhere in the open kitchen/living/dining area with the many windows facing the river. Thoughtful touches like a hammock to be placed between the two live oaks at the rivers edge, a canoe at the ready and the dock on the river for fishing or just gazing at the river's and listening to birdsong were appreciated by us. Indoors, we found everything we needed to cook our meals, served in the screen porch daily. My sister was charmed by the extensive and diverse record collection and turntable, and was our disc jockey for the trip spinning a wide variety of old favorites and classics. We would love to return to this special place!

The cabin is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. What was impressive was the amount of “little things” that the cabin had when you needed it. (Spices in the kitchen, cooking supplies, blankets, etc). I was very impressed. Very quiet and worth the stay. If I came back to the area in the future, I would be looking for this cabin again for availability.
