We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Not only is the location and proximity to the beach ideal, the views from the cottage were beautiful. The cottage itself was so thoughtfully put together that upon arrival we all (including our two golden retrievers) felt immediately welcomed and comfortable. The bedroom was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed/linens. As it was a bit cooler in the evenings during our stay, we found that the extra blankets and the fire places kept us warm and toasty. Since we travel with our dogs, I can’t express enough appreciation for all of the aspects of this stay that made it a great experience to bring them along (e.g. walkable to a dog-friendly beach, a fenced yard with grass at the cottage, etc.) What wonderful hosts with a gem of location. We would love to come back and stay again!

Valerie was a gracious host and the home was very comfortable and well appointed for our family of four. As our first time in Dillon Beach, we could not have booked a better location and home to stay in. Everything was clean and beautiful throughout, with furnishings and details all perfected. We look forward to staying again.

This house was perfect for our family trip! We prepared all meals there and the kitchen had all the supplies and utensils we needed. Beds comfortable and the reclining sofas were great. Beach access right across the street! We also enjoyed the pool table. Weather sunny, which was a bonus. I thank you for the use of the house and definitely recommend it for a family or friends trip! We loved everything about our stay! Rebecca's place was beautiful, it had everything we needed including toiletries, extra blankets and items to make us feel welcome. We really enjoyed every space and the hot tub and sauna were a bonus. The neighborhood and surrounding cities were absolutely breathtaking! My husband and I stayed here with our dog for our anniversary and it absolutely exceeded expectations! Alora was an amazing host, she gave extremely detailed directions and had so much info on the surrounding area inside the house. The house itself was so cute and functional, and the view was even better than the pictures!! The glass deck around the hot tub allowed us to take in the scenery (yes, you can see and hear the ocean from the hot tub!) and it protected us from wind and the wild animals that frequented the surrounding fields. We found that if we were on the deck/in the hot tub by 7pm, we were sure to see deer and a bobcat! The deer are also present each morning! The wildlife was our favorite part and was very consistent until the weekend hit and families with kiddos showed up. Not a complaint at all, everyone was super sweet! But if you are going for the wildlife you may want to consider going during the week because the loudness of children seemed to scare them away.

Aaron's place is a wonderful retreat right on the water. It is a beautiful house that is private and tucked off of the main road. Everything we needed was there. Full kitchen with great appliances, cozy living room & bedroom. All main rooms of the house have wonderful views of the water, bay and mountains beyond. Sitting on the deck is incredible with the water coming in below you at medium and high tide. The hot tub is excellent amenity! relaxing outdoors and seeing the moon & stars is an unforgettable experience! Aaron is a great host, very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend.

This place is paradise. The views are unreal, coast to coast green and sea, kite sailers and hangliders. You walk about 5 minutes to the beach you can see from much of the house. The home is incredibly spacious; we were two families each with two preschoolers and somehow there was enough distance within the house that one batch of kids could sleep while another batch napped. The fenced in yard kept the kids entertained when it was rainy and cold and none of the adults wanted to sit at the beach. Total dream stay!

Perfect place for a small getaway. Not only was it a quiet neighborhood but the house had everything we could think of or need. The place felt like home and felt very cozy. Hilary was a great host and I would stay here again. If you want a quiet little house with a picturesque view of the redwoods this is your place!

Wonderful location right on the bay. Deck with hot tub was the best part affording beautiful views of the bay and surrounding hills. If you’re looking for a brand-new feel on the interior this may not be the place for you as it’s a little bit dated but it was very clean and as described. Bob was very responsive and has a great selection of books and CDs!

our stay was amazing and definitely would stay here again. wasn't to noisy did here foot steps from visiting center above but nothing to really complain about. Megan communicate great with flexibility in check in as we wwere coming from oregon and had a late start getting out of town.

We had a lovely stay! Thank you! It was peaceful and private. The view is gorgeous! The “Cottage” is really cute—looks just like the picture. We had everything we needed for our stay. The instructions provided prior to our stay were detailed and made it very easy to locate the place, check-in/out, and gave useful information for our stay. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at “the Cottage” again.

Beautiful studio in great location. We really enjoyed our stay for our 4 year olds birthday. The balcony over looked the bay and was able to see a lot of sea life. The studio itself was also comfortable with all the amenities. We were stormed in one morning so it gave us a chance to just relax and enjoyed the house itself. We cooked and played games and waited for it to pass. Fun, relaxing weekend- will definitely be back!

Beautiful view and such a pretty home! Loved the handpicked selection of things in the home and the plants. The big glass windows with a beautiful view of the ocean was such a treat!

Beautiful home and location! We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the view. Unfortunately there were some polls and plastic fencing right in front of the main window that weren't present in the pictures. But overall a very nice getaway! Would book again!

Had a really relaxing family reunion retreat at Alyssa's gorgeous oceanfront home! Huge spacious deck with amazing ocean views and the most beautiful sunsets. Loved how the cypress trees gave a little privacy to the main balcony as well. Firepit was such a joy to lounge around and enjoy our bottles of wine with the family. There was a good amount LOVED the hot tub and that view of the ocean from the hot tub!! Kitchen was really well stocked with cooking utensils for us to cook breakfast and dinner for two nights. We will definitely be back for more family reunions, thank you Alyssa for the hospitable stay!

Charlie is a great host and very responsive. You have a great view of Dillon’s Beach and the ocean. The family loved staying there, just be aware that you have some stairs to go up to get to the house. For most people, that should not be a problem. My 3 year old grandson loved to go up and down them and hike to the beach(definitely with in walking distance). Beautiful location and we saw plenty of wild life in the area. Thank you for great experience.

Our family of four had such a fun and relaxing week at Chris’s place! Kids were instantly enamored with the garage hang-out and we loved the different relaxing spots throughout the house and yard. Everything was clean and comfortable and just right for us. Rustic, charming, great historical touches. Easy walk to a great beach and easy drive into town. Lovely quiet neighborhood full of beautiful birds and flowers!
