Vacation rentals with lake access in Mississippi

Can’t say enough about this place and the host! Making sure we had everything we needed and was very accommodating to all our needs even with many vehicles and boats! If you are looking for a relaxing, clean, and amazing host, you found it! This one is staying in my list if we ever come back. The views and the lake is well worth it, highly recommend! 10/10!

This was exactly the right choice for our small wedding. The home and yard were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Everything was easy to find in the home, the home was so inviting too! Just really had the best time, everyone in the family that attended also loved it. There were nothing but compliments! And Dick was probably the best host I've ever had. He was on top of things communication-wise! I thank him so much for everything. He really made my wedding so perfect.

Amy's place was great. The view and fishing from the dock was peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of room for us. When we contacted her because the air mattress had a hole, she had one there within hours, even though we told her we were fine without it. A refreshing step away from the hustle and bustle of the norm. Very peaceful getaway with the family.

Kim was wonderful, and the home was nice and roomy for our work crew!

Love staying here! The home is tastefully decorated, always clean, and they continue to upgrade it. The host is always responsive and helpful. Can't say enough positive about this rental.

The Turtle Lodge was the perfect place for us to stay for our visit to see our son, very pregnant (expecting any day)daughter in law, and 3.5 yr old grand daughter. Mark was very accommodating which provided us flexibility in checking in, and throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the place was clean and spacious. We will definitely be back!

Very secluded and peaceful property. Clean and very well-equipped. The dogs and farm animals on site, and the opportunity to feed them, were fantastic. Don’t rely on GPS to find it; follow Leslie, the host’s instructions. Oxford, which I would guess is about five miles away, has good restaurants and shops. Square Books is particularly good. There’s also an interesting walk through woodland to William Faulkner’s home.

Jessica was such an amazing host. Her place was very clean and close to MSU just as described in the listing. Great communication and very friendly. She had a Bible in her house too which was a plus for us. We felt welcome and at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Elizabeths place is clean and cozy with a great layout. It was very peaceful looking over the pasture and pond. It is also very convenient to MSU. Elizabeth was very accommodating and communicated quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

My mother-in-law and kiddos enjoyed their stay! Maddy was an amazing host! She knew that GPS wouldn’t take them to the home so with her patience and help they were able to find it no issues! The area was quiet and serene. The pool was clean and lovely to swim in. The home itself was beautiful and clean as well! All and all it was an amazing stay and perfect for a little getaway!

If I could I'd give this place and Cara a 10+!!! By far the nicest airbnb we have stayed in. It was nicer than the pictures, felt like home. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful stay. We will definitely stay with Cara again. Thank you so much Cara!

Wonderful stay! We sat outside around the firepit and the covered are was perfect when it rained.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very cute and just as described. The property was very peaceful and well maintained. We were a short drive to the MSU campus and restaurants. Some outdoor seating at the cottage would be a nice addition. I think the weather was perfect to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee.

We had a wonderful stay while in Oxford for a family get together. Lake house was in a beautiful peaceful area but still close to Oxford. Lake house was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for the weekend. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay. We loved the amenities, especially being set up for a family with small children. It was nice not having to pack the sound machine, baby monitor and pack and play. Beautiful home in a great spot!

This place is beautiful. It looks even better in person than the photos. The entire property is so pretty and peaceful. The living area is really large and it worked perfectly for our large family event in the area. We had a nice big place to hang out after the event. We used the kitchen to feed up to ten people with no issues. A note for coffee drinkers - you don't need filters for the coffee maker, it has a reusable one. We did run out of paper towels, and there wasn't enough dishwasher soap for how often we used the kitchen, so we had to provide our own. There also wasn't access to any cleaning materials so when we had a spill on the carpet we had to get our own cleaning supplies for it. That's not the owner's responsibility, just wanted to point it out for those coming later. You're going to love your stay here!

The house is just as listed. It is a beautiful site and very peaceful. It was perfect for our weekend getaway for our friend’s wedding. Would definitely stay here again.
