Cottage vacation rentals in Mississippi

Cute and cozy. Had essentials without all the extras. Plus the hot tub was a nice addition too. Highway was busy and noisy was the only downside.

Everything was as pictured and described. Communication quick and clear. Easy access to town and different entertainment. Would stay again and recommend to all!

Great clean place. Looks exactly like the pictures, excellent location and extremely close to the beach. Cottage is very clean and well maintained. Pool was also very clean and the grounds are clean. Easy to find, would absolutely stay again. Only tiny issue is hot tub would only heat to 89 even when set higher. The washer and dryer are a major perk when traveling for a lot of days as a family. Thanks for a great stay!!

Came back for spring break a year later and the place did not disappoint. Our family of five thinks of this home as our home away from home now. Highlights include pool, hot tub, easy walk/run to the gulf, easy bike to the downtown, quiet street, screened in porch for reading, clean and spacious interior. Couldn’t ask for more!!

We loved our stay at the deck! And Gary was amazing! We were very comfortable and he helped us out with so many things! He's an incredible host! Great price also! We will definitely be coming back!

My husband had a six week job in the area and Kim's place was the perfect location. I was able to also stay for a couple of weeks. I enjoyed the location. It's within walking distance of the downtown area and had sidewalks. There were also back ways to get to Walmart and the major shopping area to the north. The neighbors were quiet. Mark says the neighborhood was well-lit and there is a nice park directly across the street. The house was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the washer/dryer was a plus. The house is nicely decorated, too. He loved the front porch to sit on in the afternoons and enjoy the sun. The price was excellent. People questioned the train. You can hear the horn when it passes but not the engine. We live by a train so it didn't really bother us.

We had stayed at The Mermaid Cottage several times. It feels like our home away from home when we are there. The house is always clean and well taken care of. We love the short walk to the beach. We always look forward to staying at The Mermaid Cottage when we are in Mississippi. We hope to return soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the Llama house. The home was spotless and inviting and well stocked with essentials to make us comfortable. We highly recommend the Llama house for anyone looking for topnotch accomodations.

This was a great location, and we enjoyed walking to the beach, downtown, Shaggy's restaurant, and to the casino. Location was quiet, and while we did hear the train, it was actually peacefully nostalgic. In addition to being walkable, so much is so close that you can easily feel like you had more than one vacation/spot to cross off. We spent time in Ocean Springs, Biloxi, Long Beach and St. Louis Bay, just short drives away. It was a great stay!

We loved our stay! The location is centrally located to enjoy all of the things that Jackson has to offer and the neighborhood is peaceful and treelined and great for walking. Don't miss the Eudora Welty house that is only about a half mile walk, or the fun restaurants and scene at Bellhaven Town Center that is just a bit farther. The house is clean and adorable and has lots of unique touches that make it feel cozy and special. As a bonus, the fenced in yard is great for pets!

Nice clean little place! We stopped on our way to Baton Rouge, and booked it again for our return home! It was perfect for the two of us. Very convenient to the Natchez Trace Parkway!

Sherri's place was perfect. We felt immediately at home. It was quiet, we saw lots of birds and two deer in the distance. Sherri provided everything we could need for breakfast and there was even a freshly baked banana bread. Kitchen was well stocked and everything worked. I used the stove, microwave and oven and the washer/dryer in a separate room was very handy. It got chilly while we were there and the heating was easy to put on and control. We also ate at the Council House in French Camp 10 mins away which was good. I think there's a bakery in town and 3-Ways and Dollar General for provisions. Most of all the home was so cute and comfortable and we were sorry to leave.

Everything was great . Will definitely recommend and loved the golf cart !

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very cute and just as described. The property was very peaceful and well maintained. We were a short drive to the MSU campus and restaurants. Some outdoor seating at the cottage would be a nice addition. I think the weather was perfect to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Laurie and David's Airbnb, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The place was exactly as described, if not better. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, making the space feel welcoming, comfortable and cozy. They were incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The location was ideal - a close drive to The Square and University, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Overall, I highly recommend Laurie and David's place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Oxford. We would definitely return on our next trip!
