Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mille Lacs Lake

Stayed at both properties for a quick weekend getaway, and was pleasantly delighted with everything, unfortunately weather wasn’t in our side and we didn’t get to do much getting to know around but we are glad it happened that way because we got to enjoy the properties more, we did a grill and had all the necessities that we needed, nice secluded areas, and got to meet Jill and Joan who were very attentive but also not intrusive at all in our stay, we are hoping to be able to be back soon.

1. Favorite: The beds were super comfy… u will get a great night sleep any of the 4 beds that are here… we all loved it. The beds were amazing.. High-lights: 2. Good time snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. 3. Relaxing in the hot tub at 10pm, 20° outside with many stars in the sky…

Brian’s place was very clean and nice! Sauna, fire pit and hot tub were fantastic! Would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend get away. It was serene and had a beautiful view. We got to watch swans and ducks land and take off. Sit in the hot tub while it was chilly out. Drink hot coffee while looking out at the lake. Great place!

We had a group of 7 people there for a wedding. Everyone said the Cabin was clean and was perfect for our group. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy so we were not able to enjoy the great deck, but the views of the lake out the windows were wonderful. The location is great since it is so close to town, but yet feeling like your in the country and can relax.

These condos are fantastic! Some are brand-new, and Stuart put us in one of those. The amazing master bath shower and well-equipped, beautiful kitchen were highlights. The location made it easy to run to get bait or to go out for pizza at Zorbaz. Pontoon rental was convenient and waiting at the dock for us. For my elementary-aged boys, the indoor pool and hot tub were huge pluses. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful, feeling like home on a beautiful lake! The location was private and the cabin was clean and well-equipped for our family. Scott was a great host. Very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!!

Overall a nice place, very clean and no major issues. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/ pots and pans. Linens were clean and even had a few extra blankets. Only 4 sets of towels but seeing you had laundry, this wasn't an issue. Finishes are builder basic, maybe a little better but work just fine for a cabin stay. Just know if you are staying in this clubhouse area, other guests have access to the building/common areas which are only separated by a basic glass interior door with a blind. The exercise room/common space shares a wall with the master bedroom so you can hear people coming and going to the hot tub/sauna. Not as private as you might like but if you know that going in or rent both cabins, not a huge deal. Neighborhood was quiet and only a 4 min drive to downtown Nisswa. Check out responsibilities are minimal and easy to follow with the provided guide. Overall it was a nice stay and Chad was very responsive. Wouldn't hesitate renting from Chad again. Thanks!

Super cute space located a perfect distance from the Cuyuna trails! We loved how it was outfitted and that Lindsay went the extra mile to ensure guests have access to things they might have forgotten or didn’t know they might need. We felt right at home.

Dan and Hannah were quick to respond and assist when needed. The space was very comfy and there was plenty of room for the 7 of us. The extra bathroom downstairs was really nice for my daughter and her young family. Will definitely consider this place for next year!

One of the most peaceful Airbnbs I have ever stayed at. The home itself was cozy and offered classic movies, books, and games for entertainment. Kitchen was well stocked. The property was lovely to explore and perfect for our dog to explore safely too. We are already planning our next stay here.

It was a great place for a quick visit! It was nice to bring our dog with and with that said, even though pets are welcomed, the place is very clean and well kept up. Plenty of pans and cooking ware for making your own meals, which is one reason why I like to rent out an Airbnb! I would stay again. Thank you

We had a great week at Kyle's cabin! It was spacious, clean, and a great location and views of the lake!

This is our second time at this beautiful cabin. Brian and Sandra are great communicators and very responsive. They provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area and the cabin is immaculate. The kitchen has everything you need to grill or cook meals yourself. There is a lot of seating options inside and outside. We rented the pontoon and kayaks along with our stay and spent a lot of time on the lake. Sunset cruises were beautiful. There are a lot of unique personal touches within this cabin- you will love your stay here and we will be returning again. Brian and Sandra are really lovely people.

A private, peaceful cabin made for a very relaxing stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed for a great weekend. The check in and check out process was a breeze, would definitely stay here again!

The hosts don’t hover and trust you with their over 100-year family history and a cabin that is elegantly crafted to fit into the woods and the surrounding waters without being obtrusive. It has everything: A kitchen to create gourmet meals (well, this time we did have to donate some measuring cups!), cozy bedrooms, and a stocked safe, fire pit just to name a few. Really, I am at a loss to write a review suitable to this rental, but a poem, "Up North", by Suzanne Kindler sums up this property: "It’s the place people go to escape, A place made of cabins, pine trees and lakes But no matter how far you drive, There’s no sign to say “you’ve arrived” So just follow your heart till you find… Your special place that brings peace of mind As you breathe in the air and unwind… Your cares are all left behind It’s no mystery where the northwoods start When you arrive Up North you’ll know In your heart."

We have stayed here both winter and summer and have always had a wonderful experience. Deb provides excellent support during a stay and responds to any needs/situations immediately. Our family really feel "at home" when ever we stay at Deb's cabin!

A return trip to Millie's place - that's our stamp of approval! Cute, comfortable, affordable. Easy access to downtown and surrounding areas. We'd come back again.

Nice place with a lot of room, easy check-in, and good location. We didn't take advantage of the pontoon but that would have been a huge plus if we had more time at the Airbnb.

This is a great 4 room loft above the garage. The very off street parking was a plus. Location was good for all our needs!
