If you want to stay at a peaceful place that will invite you to spend time unwinding on the front porch listening to the birds or making some s’mores in the back yard this is the place for you! A hidden gem for those that want to stay in a small town with a short drive to the big city!

This is SO much better than staying in a hotel. My wife and I stayed here when our daughter got married in Shawnee, about a 15 minutes drive away. My brother and my brother-in-law also stayed here. There are three bedrooms and plenty of space for 4 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, pans, glassware and utensils. Neighborhood was nice and quiet with easy access to main streets and highways, making it easy to go shopping. (Tried to buy some rye bread, though, and neither Whole Foods nor Aldi had any. But I digress.) Our one wish would be to have firmer mattresses, but that’s our preference and not a deal breaker though. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and comfortable basement apartment! Host was fantastic and location was great to hop on the interstate and get anywhere in KC. We enjoyed our stay!

We were in town for a local college graduation and Mother’s Day activities. This property met our needs completely. The secure backyard fence was perfect for our midsize dogs. The furnishings were satisfactory, and the linens were pleasant. The filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator was a nice touch. Thanks, Jeff & Stacy.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of space for our group; the finished basement/game room was perfect for the older kids. There was wine waiting for us and crumbl cookies-such a nice treat after our drive to get there. We definitely will book again!

My kids loved this place! Everything is clean and it feels like you have the place to yourself. The decor is super cute. I recommend requesting the CODE BEFORE you arrive. I arrived an hour after check-in and never received the code to the door and waited 3 hours after I asked for it. I'm assuming there was a glitch with Air BNB because the host said they were supposed to send it. I've rented multiple different Air BNBs and never had this issue. The host was extremely helpful and provided me with the code. I would rent this place again.

We stayed at Chris’s place for two nights while we were in town for a concert. It was extremely convenient to walk to the Power & Lights District in just a few blocks. Apartment had plenty of space and was extremely clean! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Clean, secure, safe, cozy. Cool area by the Library. The Streetcar (free) stops directly outside the building. This spot is not in the dead center of the restaurant districts, which just means it's a little quieter. You can get to the trendy parts of downtown with a 5-20-minute walk (or a 3-10-minute Streetcar ride). So, great location. The apartment is super clean. Everything works and looks nearly brand new. It's a well-kept space. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, smart TVs in the bedroom and living room. No concerns about security. Parking is in a gated deck beside the apartment. The security guard on duty is incredibly helpful - don't hesitate to call them for help finding the parking (if needed) or a general overview of the building. The gym in the building is well-equipped with a variety of machines and weights. Saved me a drive to Planet Fitness. Savannah was quick to respond to any questions I had and communicated well. Bonus: The shower heads are great for people 3'-8' tall!

The place was as described, but with lots of charming character for being over 100 years old! Extremely clean and in a great area, close to food, activities and venues! Will definitely stay again next time!

Sage is a wonderful host, very thoughtful and proactive. The guest suite is comfortable and has everything you will need for a stay there. The condo is in a great location very near the Nelson Atkins art museum and a few blocks from the Plaza. I would definitely stay at Sage's place again.

Loved this space. If we ever came back to KC we would definitely rebook. The place was exactly like the photos and it felt very cozy and peaceful. Not only was the space very comfortable but Trenton was a great host. He was very responsive and we didn’t have any issues but I know if we would have that he would have been very responsive and helpful. He offered us an extended check out time which gave us extra time to sleep in and relax before driving back home. That was greatly appreciated. Thank you Trenton for being a great host and providing an excellent space for the weekend!

This place is a hidden treasure in an upcoming neighbourhood with many walkable things. How about a well-known restaurant (Fox and Pearl), a French coffee place (Bisou), Friday Fight night under the Freeway (pop-up, with food trucks and live music), Spanish tapas (La Bodega), and a cool rooftop bar with panoramic views over downtown KC (Percheron) all within the same city block or a maximum 10 minutes' walk? The loft is spacious and beautifully designed inside with lots of exposed brick, antique details, and high ceilings. We felt right at home. Everything feels brand new and is in great working order. You even get a top brand (Miele) washer/dryer. Jake clearly put a lot of time and passion into his place. He also responded within 1 hour to some short questions we had. We loved it and were kind of sad to leave.

This place was a great place, clean comfortable, well stocked and close to restaurants. Definitely recommend.
