Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Mechanicsville

Booked for a local assembly being held. This place was perfect. Everything was clean. Very modern place. We loved sitting out on the porch in the front. The beds were very comfortable. There are restaurants, stores, grocery stores, etc right across the street, which was so convenient.

This was a simple place for a nice stay in the area! There is some good food around, but mainly we booked for a private spot with a lot of beds. It was very clean and stocked with all you would need in a kitchen.

Our family of five had a quick stay at Josh’s and the home did not disappoint. It was spacious, comfortable, and convenient. The back porch and yard was our favorite space - the fire pit and twinkle lights created a great atmosphere. We would absolutely stay again.

I stayed here with my family for a wedding. It was just perfect. The house felt like home. Wonderful area too...restaurants, and grocery store close by. Host was great as well! Staying here allowed for my family to stay together and not be cramped up in a hotel. Thank you so much!

I had a wonderful stay at Katie’s home. Very comfortable and spacious. Felt like home away from home. And the special little touches that she included were so thoughtful and really very touching. She is very quick with responding and checking on you to make sure you’re okay. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely stay again

Great family and dog friendly place to stay! Sarah was quick to respond to any questions and was proactive about providing instructions and local attractions. The home was very well maintained and the family enjoyed the games in the fully fenced yard. We enjoyed our time there!

very spacious and comfortable, especially the backyard. the pickleball court was so much fun. for everyone, even the little ones.

Stayed here with a small group of friends to attend a concert. The place is spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The back patio was also spacious and nice. Despite being centrally located and close to everything, it wasn't noisy and disruptive outside. Very walkable to just about everything including the bus system that goes east/west on Broad which is very convenient. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a volleyball tournament. We were able to get there by walking in under 10 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The canal walk is close and there is a playground across the street.

A beautiful home with a lively yard to enjoy. We felt comfortable from the minute we walked in. Lovely neighborhood of parks and beautiful older homes. Not a central location but an easy drive to museums and shopping districts.

The place was just as described and conveniently located near many stores and restaurants. However, the surrounding area felt quite sketchy — with several abandoned and vandalized buildings nearby. Being close to a police station means you’ll hear sirens frequently, both day and night. The neighbors were also quite loud at night with frequent parties, and there was a lot of smoke drifting onto the patio, which made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. That said, the unit itself was very nice, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. 5 stars for the apartment but 3 stars for the surroundings.

Mark's place is wonderful. It is very beautiful and full of natural light. We loved the space it gave our family of four. The patio/courtyard area was a nice bonus! We were in town for a tournament and could easily walk to the convention center. His place is also a short walk to a great brewery and quite a few places for food. It is also a short walk/run to campus! It was incredibly quiet. We enjoyed thinking about what the place looked like in it's past lives! We were very pleasantly surprised by Richmond and look forward to coming back.

Alyssa's place is centrally located and very walkable. Parking was easy. There were many little amenities in the apartment like a light and plenty of hangers in the closets, bathroom shelf for your phone, a guidebook, reading and games. Super comfy bed and sofa, and great shower. Alyssa removed scent diffusers per my request which I appreciated. Great spot, will stay again!

Sue was beyond pleasant and she made our stay so easy. she met us upon arrival and told us all about the area. The place was original and had so much character to it. Will definitely stay here again when in town.

This simple condo was clean and suited our business purpose, but it's quite sparse regarding extra features, or kitchen supplies. It was clean and Christian was pleasant, and communicated very well - even trying to replace a piece of furniture during our 3 day stay. Only note for single women or families - the neighborhood isn't the nicest, there's a good number of vagrants. But, it wasn't unsafe, we had no issues. If you just need a clean & quiet place to stay near Richmond, it worked great!

Such a cool spot in the fan! Cozy, comfortable and private conveniently located to everything! Will definitely stay here every time I come!

Great place to stay because you're just a few short blocks away from Cary Street, where there are lots of great stores and restaurants. We walked over several times to get coffee and go to a restaurant, and then shopping the next morning. The apartment is not "new" -- it's in one of the many old houses that line the street. But it was fun and had some character. The bed might be a little soft for some people, but I was comfortable.

This stay was just lovely! Fit our needs well, hosts were unbelievably kind and responsive

Edna's condo was a cozy place for us to stay while visiting/supporting new parents as they welcomed another little one. Having two bathrooms was helpful, the kitchen had everything we needed for our meal prep. It's a quiet location and when the weather cooperated we enjoyed walking the trails accessed from the back of the complex. A treasure!

Beautiful tree lined street, with front and back porches to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. A house furnished with a lot of art to appreciate. Convenient to downtown, VCU and a host of amenities. Highly recommend for short and long term stays.
