Stayed for on site wedding. Room was nice and clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing amazing amazing! I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, spacious, clean, comfortable, the balcony was a plus and the restaurant near the main lobby had a great bartender; that made our drinks extra good! Also, parking was fairly easy to find and the hotel location was perfectly located close to Manhattan! I would recommend just double checking and confirming the room type you are booking, since there are many different options and room styles! I would stay here over & over again 🌸!

This is actually in a boutique hotel. Heater was not working on arrival but did get fixed quickly. No complaints.

We Love The Box House! As a former NYC resident, it's not easy to find a spot that feels like home when returning to the city. Much less, a spot that feels nicer than home! This was my second stay at The Box House, and I don't think I'll be booking anywhere else for future trips back to the city. They are easily my #1 choice. The rooms are sparkling clean, beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and have great views of the city. It's so lovely to come back to a hotel at the end of a long day, and to be taken care of by staff who truly care. I'm just as happy going out as I am staying in, which I think is the mark of a truly great place. Thank you, Box House Hotel! See you soon. :)

Cool place to stay in Harlem! Retro claw foot tub and bathroom sink. Interesting architecture, high ceilings, cool staircase. The room itself had a nice little radio. Downstairs is a parlor area with books and music playing. Easily accessible from subway. Close to the Apollo theater. Within walking distance to drug store, delis, shopping, plus street food. The brownstone is on a quiet street. I slept with the windows cracked open but shutters closed and it was quiet and dark. I met the host René. He was friendly and accommodating.

Great place for traveling throughout Williamsburg. So many food places around, but the hotel also has amazing food. There was a bit of a wait to check-in, but after that, everything was smooth sailing.

The staff was very helpful and friendly the whole stay! We will definitely stay again when we're in town! Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay here

My family and I had an incredible time staying here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The location is unbeatable, especially when traveling with young kids who require frequent breaks throughout the day. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the decor is vibrant and so much fun- it’s impossible to not be in vacation mode when you walk through those doors! We are already planning our stay for the summer to fully take advantage of all the hotel has to offer.

The room was exactly what I expected and looked just like the listing. Clean space and easy check in. Nice hotel.

Beautiful space as always! I always use this space when i go to sojo spa down the street. Another space to go to & zen! Awesome restaurant across street (Madison Cafe & Grill) amazing food.

Had a wonderful stay at the Royalton! The building is beautiful and has many amenities. The host was very proactive and approachable. Will definitely reach out for future stays. Highly recommend.

Awesome spot! Better than in the pictures!

The view is amazing of downtown and Central Park. The space was very clean. This is a small space suitable for three people at the most in our opinion. Four was too crowded. This is Harlem so if you know Harlem then you know what you are getting. The location was very quiet, especially inside the apartment. One block away is very busy and crowded. It’s NYC so I suppose that’s what you get.

Really appreciated the stay and would highly recommend. I had to go into Manhattan a lot which was super convenient from here. Lovely apartment, lovely hosts and lovely cat
