You're adjacent to Stones Throw, my home, but thanks to your separate entrance from the street and driveway areas, we may not see each other. Rest assured, I'll respond to any questions STAY AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN! 1080 feet above sea level & eye level with the tallest building in LA. Country living in the midst of the city. Hike with celebrities in Runyon Canyon, tour Universal, shop in Beverly Hills, or Uber your way to nightlife in WeHo or Sunset Strip. Being on top of the world means you need to get here & our quaint Laurel Canyon roads can be narrow, curvy & often slow with traffic. Please consult the WAZE app for live traffic & route info to 2192 Beech Knoll Road, LA. The lyrics to the song "Nobody Walks in L.A." remain fairly true. You may want a rental car to get around, but more than half of my guests skip driving and use UBER or LYFT — nearly any kind of car can be at our door in 5-10 minutes. For those who do drive, free street parking is readily available on my street (although watch for no-parking signs on some areas). Don't drink and drive! Let UBER get you home! Or just stay home at STUDIO 1080, order delivered food and sit with your glass of wine, enjoying one of the most spectacular views in Hollywood from your private patio! Please note there are steps to Studio 1080 down from street level to your keyless-locked private patio entrance. Street parking is readily available within steps of your entrance. Regarding sleeping arrangements: I think this space is best suited for one or two people, who sleep together in the cozy bedroom niche, which has a brand new king-sized Casper memory foam mattress with super-comfortable pillows and linens on an 18" platform. Please note the mattress extends wall to wall, with comfortable padded leatherette wall panels as a headboard. I personally LOVE it!! When you’re tucked into bed, just say, “Alexa, turn on NITE NITE,” then the music stops and ALL lights fade to black while the motorized shades close. The room has an HVAC vent and a small Vornado fan for moving air, and you can say, “Alexa, open Thunderstorm Sounds” if you need that kind of white noise to sleep. It’s a peaceful quiet area, so there’s not much noise, although you probably will hear the coyotes howl to each other in the canyon. SOFA BED (see before/after photos of folded-out sofa in lounge space at end of my pix): The sofa sleeper bed has a single-sized mattress with topper and bed linens. While it is functional, and I’ve made it as comfortable as possible, it's still a fold-out sofa sleeper and takes up much of the living room/lounge area, making it more difficult to get around the room -- to kitchen and bathroom -- while it's extended. The sofa sleeper is perfect for a teen or child traveling with her parents, but may be a tight fit for an adult. Although I'll let my guests decide what is best for their needs, I wanted to be proactive in describing the space and its capacity. Thanks for looking and booking! The guest house is Eco-friendly and maintained with envirmentally safe products for you and the earth. From the organic paint on the walls to the natural cleaning products used before each guest arrives to the hypoallergenic soaps for the linens and towels. The guest house is located at the rear of the property. Your access onto the property is via California Court, (alley) which runs between California Ave. and Milwood Ave. The entrance is secured with safe and easy to use electronic locks. For security, each guest has their own specific access code. Guests have a landscaped patio area right outside the guest house entrance where you can relax in privacy. I will be available to help throughout your stay. Should you require anything additional during your stay, please just ask and I'll be glad to accomodate you in anyway I can. You can't beat this location! My tranquil guesthouse is located on one of the most sought-after street in Venice, surrounded by internationally acclaimed restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, and art galleries and all that Venice has to offer. Just steps to Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Bike or walk, (bikes provided) to the beach and along the boardwalk to Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica. You certainly won't be needing a car if you're only planning to visit Venice. My guest house is literally a one minute walk to Abbot Kinney Blvd. and a ten minute walk to the beach. Walking and biking are your best modes of transport and will give you the opportunity to see more of what Venice has to offer. If you plan on venturing out of Venice there are several transportation options: No designated parking. Street parking only. Please be aware street cleaning is on alternate sides of street Wednesday and Thursday from 9am -11am. Please check street signs before parking. There is a large overly friendly Newfoundland dog lounging around the property. His name is Luke and he's usually napping and sometimes looking for someone to pet him. He’s super friendly and completely passive. You can't beat this location! Adjacent to Venice Beach. 15 min walk close to buses and the new Expo train to downtown LA> 3 blocks to buses to downtown Santa Monica or walk or a $5.00 Uber /LYFT ride there. 15.00 to Beverly hills $25.00 Uber/ LYFT to Universal studios There is also an Enterprise rental car place on the bottom of the street.walk to all eating places , beach , Santa Monica pier and hip Abbot Kinney . BIRD electric scooter rentals and Hulu bike rentals available as well throughout Santa Monica . There are small dogs on property , super friendly , and two kids 15 & 10 that are used to guests coming so are respectful of your privacy and quietness. Honestly most people don't see them because they are so busy ! Patio and yard are not private but shared . We never use the patio just the yard . Also, Santa Monica adds on a hotel tax of 14%, that has nothing to do with me. I find it ridiculous, but it is in such high demand. There is also a law in Santa Monica that owners have to be on property. So if you are looking for a place that is LEGAL and will be no problems , this is it.

An affluent beach town west of Los Angeles, Malibu consists of 27-miles of prime Pacific coastline. The community is famous for warm, sandy beaches including Surfrider, Topanga, and Point Dume, while restaurants and shopping are within easy reach. There are several restaurants, shopping, bike/surf rentals, fishing, swimming, surfing, paddleboarding and much more within walking distance. There is public transportation via bus, taxi or personal auto. Santa Monica is only 11 miles and Venice just 13. Santa Monica pier is just over 11 miles, Venice is a little more than 13 miles, centrally located it provides easy access to the the famous Highway 1 (pacific coast highway).

Enjoy complete privacy in a quiet neighborhood. Our home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac w/ quiet neighbors. The studio unit is recently remodeled with new furniture. It is attached to but separate from the main house. Private entrance, private bath, large shower. Kitchenette includes full size refrigerator, microwave & toaster oven.
