Vacation rentals with a kayak in Madison County

Randi is very easy to communicate with - she is super responsive and friendly. The house is close to Colgate- made running back and forth very easy. The house is peaceful, really well stocked with all your kitchen needs plus plenty of towels etc., all very clean, comfortable, neat and uncluttered, and in such a lovely setting, right on the lake. Highly recommend!

Welcome to a truly beautiful home, thoughtfully decorated and fully equipped for your stay. This isn't your average, characterless Airbnb; it's a serene haven straight out of a picture book, perfect for body and soul. For our family of 5 adults and 2 young children, it was a genuine home away from home. Enjoy the quiet surroundings, with most stores and restaurants just a 10-20 minute drive away. Mary is a responsive & thoughtful host. If my travels bring me here again I would certainly stay here.

Darren's house on Oneida Lake is absolutely precious. It was very clean with lots of space in a quiet and peaceful location. Darren was very responsive and helpful. Family members commented they'd love to go back next year and stay at Darren's house again.

A comfortable and accommodating space with beautiful views of the lakes. The hosts were helpful and communicative. We knew exactly what was expected of us. Our favorite parts were: space for all staying with us, the very comfortable mattresses and the access to beautiful views greeting us morning and evening and in between. We enjoyed watching the resident ducks, geese, osprey, eagles, house sparrows while being serenaded by a song sparrow each morning. Kitchen appliances were modern and high quality. Bathrooms had attractive updated fixtures. As is not uncommon in CNY, the basement bedrooms felt a bit damp, which was helped by running the basement bathroom fan and AC fan while we were there. (The host has a dehumidifier that looks like it is probably run when guests are not using the space). The cleaning crew missed a few details before our arrival, but overall the space was acceptable and the host daily initiated reaching out to see if there was anything that needed addressed.

Nicole was extremely helpful and responsive to our needs before and during our trip. The house was perfect for our long weekend and we enjoyed as much time as possible on the back deck despite the rain throughout our stay. The lake and surrounding areas were beautiful and we can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay on the lake as our yearly family getaway. We had age ranges from 1 to 65 and was great for all ages. The screened in porches are nice to enjoy the lake view. House had all supplies and amenities that we needed for our visit.

Fantastic experience! Easy to book and be in and out, all the amenities you ever want at a lake house! We had so much fun kayaking and canoeing and playing in the yard with cornhole and connect four. Hot tub was great, a very peaceful relaxing weekend. Enjoyed veggies on the grill outside and loved the beautiful, well appointed kitchenThank you, Eric! Appreciate all your help!

The house and Kurt were great. Everyone in our group was able to get their own bed. Drive to Turning Stone for golf and the casino was very easy.

Brian and Melissa were flexible with early check in and a later check out. It allowed us the opportunity to enjoy all of the Colgate commencement weekend activities. We were very grateful. Thank you for being such gracious hosts.

We stayed in Lake Morain for a Colgate reunion and it was delightful! Significance more comfortable than our original plan of staying in the dorms. The house was cute as can be, very clean and perfect for 5 of us. Christian was very flexible too as our plans kept changing. We’ll stay there for the next reunion too!

We had such a nice stay! The cottage was absolutely adorable and bigger than we expected. It was beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, and Taylor thought of and provided everything we could need. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We planned on bringing our two dogs, but ended up leaving them home. Had we brought them, they also would have had everything they needed. We will definitely book again when we return to Hamilton!

We had a amazing weekend at Rosemary's cabin with our pups! The house was well appointed with everything you would need in the kitchen and a gas grill outside. It was larger than we expected and we loved the lakefront rooms with fireplaces! The location was beautiful and we loved paddling and fishing in the lake. Being able to stay directly on the lake was awesome and I thought the cabin very reasonably priced given the location. We were there Labor Day weekend and the lake was very quiet and the weather was quite cool. The neighbors were all very friendly and I highly recommend the restaurant across the lake. Looking forward to returning next year!

Rachel’s home was immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed. Hope to stay there again!

John’s “camp” was perfect for our small group. The location is great- the lake is literally right at your feet, and while this is not your “luxury” rental, it’s exactly as described. Has the necessities plus a little more- vacuum, towels, Lysol wipes, plates, cups, etc. The spiral staircase has …a learning curve… but kept us laughing all weekend! As a host, John was great- I felt confident that if any issues were to arise (they didn’t) he would make sure we were taken care of. He was accommodating, polite, and friendly as well. We would love to come back!

The place was bright and clean and had a really cozy feel we all were very comfortable and I would definitely go.

We had a lovely stay at The Sanctuary. It is a beautifully appointed house and a lovely spot. The photos do not do it justice. We were visiting our daughter at Hamilton College and it is actually a very easy 20 minute drive through beautiful countryside to get to and from. We hope to be back!

Beautiful little piece of paradise! Cute and cozy little cabin on the water, perfect for our 10 person family getaway. The kids fished and kayaked all day long. It was so nice to wake up in the morning and sit on the dock with a cup of coffee. The kitchen was well stocked which made it easy to feed our crew. Joy was a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and helpful.

Our little family loved our stay here! We were impressed with how clean and cozy everything was when we first walked in. The check in was very easy too! Everything looked like the listing photos. We also enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We were fortunate our pets were accommodated as well. We travel for our daughter's dance competitions and it's tough leaving them at home. They enjoyed being there with us and being able to go in the backyard. We usually have to travel to the area once a year for competitions and are glad to have found this place and hope to stay again in the future.

It was a great place! We really enjoyed the area, it was beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely come here again.
