Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Madison County

My family and I had a great time out here. The house is very cozy and the location is very quiet. We loved the lake access which has a really nice sunset. Can’t beat it for the price.

Had a minor issue at check in. Troy was swift to remedy and made our stay amazing. Wonderful kitchen, deck and area. Walkable to ice cream stand and wine store. Also a dockside seafood place (.3 mi). Short 5 min drive to sylvan beach. Place was great for our group of 6. Plenty of room. Beautiful Kitchen island was the hangout. Look forward to staying again.

Darren's house on Oneida Lake is absolutely precious. It was very clean with lots of space in a quiet and peaceful location. Darren was very responsive and helpful. Family members commented they'd love to go back next year and stay at Darren's house again.

Me and some friends came to work down the road the place was perfect and a beautiful lake to look at.

We spent SU graduation weekend at this camp. It was peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake. It was a nice retreat for a very busy couple of days. Cozy family room with gas fire place for the chilly nights. Clean and comfortable beds.

Our extended family of 8 stayed here for Colgate's 2025 graduation weekend. The location was definitely further away than I wanted (not the host's fault of course) but it ended up working out great. Door to door it's a 35 minute drive, so while we weren't able to go 'back and forth' as much as if we were staying closer, it was a great place to wake up in and return 'home' to at the end of the day's events. There was plenty of room for two sets of grandparents, two siblings and the grad's parents. We loved making coffee and breakfast in the morning and enjoying the absolutely glorious view from the house, plus the kitchen table was a fun end of day gathering spot for us all. Shawn was communicative and accommodating, especially when one pair of guests were way ahead of arrival time, allowing them to enter the property early. I had not been aware of DeRuyter or the lake prior to this, but am glad we had the opportunity to enjoy this home and the area!

This is a quiet rustic spot Jeannie made it a point to introduce herself and let me know if I needed anything just reach out I took advantage of the free snacks and if you forget anything there was a nice assortment of toiletries My only disappointment for the stay is i did not get to pet the dog!!!!!

We enjoyed our short stay at Teresa’s apartment. It had everything we needed including water and seltzer in the fridge, snacks and tea/coffee. We would stay here again when traveling in the area.

Highly recommended. Even nicer than the photos. Very comfortable and spacious apartment—with lots of nice personal touches, including linen bedding, bath robes, numerous books and candles. Loved the short walk to the Clinton Village. I will really miss Utica coffee:). We were in town to attend our son’s graduation from Colgate University and the drive to/from was easy. Although close to Utica, the town and apartment has a very nice rural vibe. Our hosts were proactive and responsive! Thanks so much for giving us the icing on the cake to the adventure.

It was ok noisy at night no parking an no tv in living room no pots an pans no trash can an the stove was smoking if used it

The level of cleanliness at the rental place was impeccable, exceeding my expectations. One aspect that stood out to me the most was the emphasis on safety. The area in which the rental place is situated is incredibly secure, providing a sense of comfort and peace of mind. Furthermore, the neighborhood is remarkably tranquil and well-maintained, creating a serene environment that I thoroughly appreciated. My husband and I last minute needed a place to stay for the night Saturday into Sunday and they absolutely delivered. We had such an amazing night and everyone was so kind and accommodating. We had to leave early so we could pick up our kids from their grandparents and they made a plate full of amazing blueberry muffins hot and straight out of the oven. Also their dog was the cutest little dog. Super sweet. Thank you all so much for your time and being able to accommodate us at such short notice.

Beautiful little piece of paradise! Cute and cozy little cabin on the water, perfect for our 10 person family getaway. The kids fished and kayaked all day long. It was so nice to wake up in the morning and sit on the dock with a cup of coffee. The kitchen was well stocked which made it easy to feed our crew. Joy was a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at The Sanctuary. It is a beautifully appointed house and a lovely spot. The photos do not do it justice. We were visiting our daughter at Hamilton College and it is actually a very easy 20 minute drive through beautiful countryside to get to and from. We hope to be back!

This is a beautiful property to stay with my pups when I visit my family in Central NY. So thankful for the fenced in yard, and my niece and nephew love to visit to enjoy the pond and long walks around the grounds.

Amazing location and the Host Brenda makes it even better! She is really friendly and responds immediately! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I will never forget the truly remarkable hospitality.

I've booked this listing twice so far and I can definitely say that Nicole is one of the net, most accommodating, and patient people I've dealt with in all of my Airbnb experiences. This most recent visit was impacted by some personal conflicts on my end with timing and being able to get out there as planned but Nicole was incredibly helpful, offering solutions and more than willing to work with me on any obstacle that seemed to pop up. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and if I had my choice, this is the only place in this area I'd choose to stay whenever I visit NY. The cabins are very clean, comfortable, and have more than enough space - or course I highly recommend this place!

We stayed in for four nights and we loved it. Kitchen was stocked up with every little thing you may need and might not carry. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and cozy. plenty of games and entertainment options inside the house. The deck and the little pond outside house were great. My boyfriend was very sad about going back home lol Thank you for having us! we can't wait to get back there again in probably summer.
