Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Los Gatos

A lovely little cabin in the rustic Lompico hills just outside of Felton. The open floor plan makes the cabin feel very roomy, and the bright interior, together with lots of natural light, makes the place feel very cheery and welcoming. The property sits on a half-acre of gently sloping land ringed by redwoods, it's gorgeous and peaceful. Our dog loved roaming, sniffing around and playing fetch with the tennis balls left by the host. Getting there is quite easy, just follow the host's directions...the narrow mountain road might seem a little daunting at first, but we got the hang of it quickly. About 5 minutes down the road is the Zayante general store for necessities and Felton proper is about 10 minutes away. Loch Lomond is also about 10 minutes away. Lompico is a beautiful area with a cool history (look it up!) and the perfect place to unwind. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed our 4 nights at the house. The host made us feel at home right away with his friendly messages. The house was clean, well-appointed and there was great attention to details. Bottled water, coffee pods and some candies were thoughtfully laid out. Walk-in wardrobe with lots of pull-out drawers and space for hanging clothes. New washer and dryer with laundry detergent pods provided. Pretty well-manicured garden and backyard. Well-equipped kitchen - it would have been a pleasure to cook some meals, but we didn’t have the opportunity. We also liked the neighbourhood which was quiet, safe and pretty. If we ever came back to Santa Clara, we’d definitely come here again!

We stayed for a month with my family and we had a great stay. The house is very spacious and baby friendly, with lots of space in each bedroom and a huge living room to hang out with friends and family. I also like the layout of the home as each bedroom has its own separate hallway, which gives more privacy to each guest. Antoni is a great host, very responsive and friendly. We will stay again next time when we visit the area. thank you.

It is a beautiful and well maintained unit., clean and functional. The host is very thoughtful. Everything is properly labeled and easy to find. The internet access is perfect for games and work. We found the same conveniences as we were home. The bed was very comfortable. We liked neighborhood a lot. It is quite, but everything is near by. Local coffee is excellent, much better than Starbucks. It is close to the major roads. We were very surprised as we got to SFO in 45 minutes in the morning during the morning rush hours. A great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay here, and we truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect for everything we needed, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities – a definite highlight. There was a few drops of water dripping in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs after after some heavy rain. Julia was informed and took immediate action to address. Overall, we had a great experience, and we would happily stay here again.

This was one of our best Airbnb experiences to date. Sean’s home was lovely and he’s put a lot of thought and care in to making guests comfortable. I would happily stay here again if we find ourselves in San Jose in the future.

Hanna’s place was amazing .we brought our daughter out here to visit San Jose state university and we had amazing time .her place is near everything and most of all she left clear instructions .

Michelle was a very proactive host. Space is clean, neat and as pictured. Was great alternative to hotel for a conference trip. Would stay again.

Mike’s place is really comfortable and home like. The neighborhood is quiet and private, room is easy to self check-in and spacious enough for 2 persons to stay, there’s also a beautiful little yard which is private and gives out a great feeling to start the day. We stayed at this place for 3 days while organising an event in Santa Clara. The place turned out to be perfect for us as it was quite spacious, both inside and out. It’s also located in a very peaceful and walkable neighborhood. Also, I rented a 4Runner and was afraid of the parking situation but to my pleasant surprise I was able to easily park inside the compound. More than the place, I’m impressed with Rainee and Steven, who were amazing hosts! They went out of their way to help us out with some power tools that we needed during our stay. I’m really grateful for that

We had a very peaceful stay at Michael’s place in the mountains and Michael was friendly and helpful in checking us in and providing recommendations for good places nearby. It was nice to sit out on the property too and enjoy the beautiful views. Would stay there again!

We stayed two nights while visiting family in the area; since this was a short stay, we wanted a place that was simple to check in and check out. We loved the easy parking in the driveway (no need to drive around hunting for street parking), and getting inside was straightforward. The neighborhood was quiet, too. Our hosts were always very responsive and helpful. This is a fantastic value for the area!

Gem of a find! Great location right in Santana Row, and also a wonderful spot for an extended stay. Eugene really put a lot of thought into vital details that helped ensure guests had everything they needed- from a well equipped work station down to a kitchen supplied with cooking utensils and items for making a variety of meals! Absolutely loved our stay, and look forward to coming back!

My daughter and I had such a lovely stay at this adorable apartment. I was in town for a concert at Stanford Stadium, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. It was an easy walk to and from the venue. The apartment is full of charm and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, which was important to me since I was traveling with my daughter. I truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the space. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lisa was very friendly and responsive. She not only provided clear instructions, flexible check-in, but also shared many great local dinning options, which were super helpful for our family of five. The condo was kept spotless with comfortable king size bed, bunkbed that my boys love, a beautiful swirling love seat that my daughter loved to sit in while watching sea birds catching fish using the binocular provided! Our family specifically loved the fireplace on the balcony. It was just perfect for us to enjoy the cozy night chatting and laughing by the fire while listening to the ocean waves NorCal beaches can be very chilling at night. The outdoor fireplace is such a thoughtful amenity. THANK YOU, Lisa!

It was a little confusing gettinto the place. We parked in the structure and gained access through 2 floor bridge, but got locked out. We found the ground floor door and were able to use that. The garage gate only open one side. The parking space was tricky because it was next to motorcycles parking. BE CAREFUL, mattress sags at edges, husband fell off bed and hit his face. All in all we had a great time. 👍

This location is ideal for those who like easy access to hiking, walking, beach, pools etc. Also a short drive to Capitola, and Santa Cruz to the North. Views from the balcony are way better than the pictures. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

We had a great stay. The home is lovely and the area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops accessible.

A very nice location with many super markets (whole food, Walmart etc.) nearby. The place is neat and clean with all the things you need. The host is very kind and responsive.

We enjoyed staying at Ivan’s apartment condo. Very convenient and easy to get to everywhere. Ivan is a great host and I would recommend staying at his place.
