Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Leelanau County

The Cherry Farmhouse was simply amazing! Beautiful home with all the modern amenities. Lovely location near town in a quiet peaceful farm setting. The host went above & beyond with the nice touches such as towels wrapped with ribbons and fresh local apples. The host even mailed a fleece sweater back to us that we unintentionally left behind. Simply the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in!

My son got married in the area so my husband and I stayed here with my adult sister, two adult daughters and their partners. It was the perfect location between Traverse City and Northport, with easy access to great local spots like Suttons Bay Ciders, Hop Lot, downtown Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor, etc. The house was immaculate and well appointed; the layout worked well for the 7 of us. There wasn’t much downtime between wedding activities, but we did find a few minutes to complete an awesome 1000-piece puzzle and marvel at the great selection of games. Basement could be chilly but Zack provides lots of comfy throws. We used every inch of the house, including the garage, laundry and spare refrigerator. All in all an excellent accommodation!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay! Joe let us check in early, which was super helpful. We were a group of two families with lots of little kids, and the house was set up in a way where we all felt comfortable and kids were able to play and run around outside. The house is super clean and deceptively spacious, and everyone had plenty of room. Joe communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed, and even gave us the option to check out a bit late. It’s a great house for groups (especially families) in a quiet, beautiful location. We will definitely be back!

Staying at Sherry's Coventry Cottage was a real treat...my only concern was that my stay (4 nights) wasn't longer. Sherry was the perfect host with great attention to details. I told her that I felt more like a house guest instead of a renter. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens and located in quiet, wooded area that is walking distance to the Bay and into town. Lovely furnishings and high-end appliances made it a pleasure to stay there. I highly recommend the Coventry Cottage and look forward to future stays.

We had an enjoyable stay at Hackett house. It offered all the conveniences of home. It was secluded and peaceful, but yet convenient to get to Traverse city. We will definitely stay here again.

This truly was a little slice of heaven! The outdoor landscaping and view of the lake was incredible. Angela was an amazing host giving us great recommendations and making us feel right at home. It's a perfect spot to check out all the great wineries the Leelanau Peninsula has to offer, but also a quick drive to downtown Traverse City. Would highly recommend!

Cathy was a great hostess, and was helpful and friendly, without being obtrusive. Lisa had clear communication and fast responses to my questions. Locations was lovely and as described, makung for a great place to stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. My children loved walking through Cathy's garden and looking for chipmunks and birds. I would absolutely recommend others consider Cathy's place as a place to stay in the area. Thank you Cathy! :)

William was a wonderful host and his 2 bedroom (both with kind sized beds) and 2 full baths was perfect for our couples’ getaway. Sutton’s Bay is gorgeous. So convenient to be close the Mawby Winery, which we love, and the Bahle Golf Course. We used the pool, the grill and it was an added bonus to play fetch with his sweet dog. Highly recommend this AirBNB.

David and Nicole were exceptional hosts. They were extremely responsive and genuinely vested in a comfortable and pleasurable stay. Their attention to detail, well equipped accommodations made my stay better than my own home. Everything in its place and easy to find. I stay in Airbnb’s all over the country and this is easily top 3 and they have a very happy repeat client as long as they will have me. Thanks for an excellent experience David and Nicole. Very beautiful views of the lake, sunrise was spectacular! Beach is at your doorstep, grill outside, all the necessities inside. We really enjoyed the location of it!

We had an amazing time at Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor. Julie’s place is perfectly located, within walking distance to downtown where you can shop, dine, and even walk to Sleeping Bear Bay beach. Highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Samantha’s place. It was close to everything for the wedding weekend and was very comfy.

We had a lovely stay in the Garden Suite! It was perfect for 2 and had everything we needed. Located in a gorgeous area right in between Northport & Suttons Bay. So much to explore!

It ended up just being my husband and I and it was wonderful. We wished we'd been able to stay longer. The hot tub was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.

Absolutely amazing stay! I was truly in awe of this place. It’s incredibly updated, modern, and by far the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of—blender, crockpot, and more. There were also plenty of towels, which is often an issue at other rentals, but not here. The cabin feels very private, and the secluded beach just across the street is unreal. We had chilly weather this time, but we’ll definitely be booking again when it’s warm to fully enjoy everything this spot has to offer. This Airbnb will not disappoint—thank you, Carlie!

We had such a wonderful stay!! Leigha's home was not only beautiful, it was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying at Leigha's if you're planning a trip to TC! Our group would be happy to stay again!

We had a great stay with our family including 3 young children. The property has a large and natural beach, which is rare for either Glen or Little Glen lake. There is plenty of shade in the back yard and the trees attracted a Bald Eagle which we saw repeatedly during our stay. The house is straight out of a 1970 time capsule but in pristine shape. Although it lacked A/C, there were enough fans that if open windows weren't enough, the fans worked out well. We would return to this property. Peter is a great and attentive house.

What an outstanding and beautiful cottage / Cabin on little traverse lake . Off of beautiful M22 , but felt remote and off the beaten path . Easy to find and a wonderful host who happens to also have a fantastic restaurant Market 22 right across the street ,that we ate at multiple times during our stay . The pizza was phenomenal. The breakfast was light and clean and perfect portion sized . Only wish it was Open for breakfast more than one day ! Lol . To be able to have a lake front cottage , bring our dogs , our boat , and have everything provided in terms of kitchen utensils, grill , exc . Was everything we wanted and more . It was everything and more ! It was a perfect stay and we will definitely be back to stay with Melanie again in the near future .
