Vacation rentals in Lake Wales

Can't say enough great things about Jonathan and his place! We loved staying there, felt right at home, we were there with 5 kids and there was always something fun for them to do, swimming in the pool and hot tub, s'mores by the fire, pool, air hockey, pacman was a hit, basketball, and lots of games, books and movies to choose from. There was plenty of space to spread out and feel comfortable and Jonathan added so many thoughtful touches to our stay - greeting us with an Apple Pie on the kitchen counter, a bowl of chocolates in the entry way and plenty of coffee. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, there were plenty of towels for showers and swimming, life jackets were supplied. The kids said they wanted to move there : ). Need I say more? haha

Second time renting from Luke, will hopefully do it again next year

Our family loved staying the Cypress Gardens lake house. The location on lake Eloise was scenic and we loved looking out on the lake from the pool or patio. House was super clean and comfortable. Boat access was great with the multiple docking spots, and renting the pontoon was a great way to spend the day. Family all had fun and would like to come back someday. We also appreciated the history on Cypress Gardens and old florida before Disney changed things up.

Donna’s house was perfect for a quick visit of Avon Park. Centrally located by things to do, and cozy enough you may not want to leave. We’d recommend and would stay again.

Jesus was an amazing host. The house had everything we needed, and was such a peaceful place to stay. Can’t say enough about how amazing the back yard was. Would definitely stay here again.

we stayed here for 17 nights and what a beautiful place and stay. We were 3 couples and the house was so spacious and comfortable for us all. We especially loved the beautiful pool (we had it heated and was well worth it as so warm), hot tub and spacious deck area. The furnishing in the living areas is so comfortable and there is plenty of it. We also enjoyed the pool table and games table in the garage. A major highlight for me was the neighbourhood alligator, Clarence, who frequently showed up on the lake behind us. He was well behaved and just watched from the lake edge 🙂 What a blessing to watch him safely from the screened in area but to be able to be so close, such an amazing creature. Just remember however to never feed the gators as it can be a death penalty for them 😥. And keep your distance as they are wild animals. We loved this place and would return again in the future if in that area.

Celebrated our parents 60th wedding anniversary. Gary was right there to greet us at our arrival and chatted with my parents making them feel special and at ease. Property is exactly as it is portrayed in photos. Clean, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing all around! The sunsets were amazing! The family has taken great memories with us for a lifetime. Thank you Gary and Poshpadz!!!

Great location! Wonderful house and in a perfect spot! The listing says it sleeps 6 but there are only two beds and all the couches are love seats that don’t pull out. So unless you’re sleeping 3 to a bed or have 2 children or dwarves, it sleeps 4. I could be wrong, but I sent messages to the host that weren’t responded to. Otherwise, we would definitely stay again!

We’ve been here twice and are already looking forward to a third time, whether that be here or at their latest next door option!

We enjoyed our stay and the view of the lake was lovely! Adam was very responsive to any messages and was available as soon as we arrived for check-in.

This place was a little piece of heaven! Gorgeous views, tons of natural light, fantastic private location. Can’t recommend it enough!

Samantha’s place was the perfect spot for our extended weekend in Orlando, it was close to everything we needed and I can’t say enough about how great the communication was anytime we needed anything or had a question. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home and view was great. Beds are so comfortable and home was so clean. It had everything we needed. Perfect location to visit family which they also loved the home. Lots of room to spread out for a family get together. Neighbors are super nice. Quiet neighborhood which we loved as well. Steven is a great host and we’ll definitely book this home again.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The house was well accommodated. The dock is very peaceful. I did a little fishing right from the seawall. Great place to bring a family.

Our first Airbnb and it was a great experience. Megan was helpful and the home was perfect for our needs. The best part it was a very good home with fenced in yard for our dog. Great location and we will stay there again our next visit to Orlando.

Horace was easy to get a hold of and ask questions before my father and son arrived. I was at first concerned about not getting the actual address until 24 hours before our reservation, but Horace gladly looked up the address of our event and let me know his place was just 15 minutes from where they needed to be. My dad said it was in a nice older neighborhood and was easy to get in and do what they needed to do. So happy for this experience and would definitely stay here again if they go to this same event next year.

Nice place in walkable neighborhood. Clean with lots of entertaining space. Big backyard and even an indoor (garage) ping pong table.

This Airbnb was an absolute gem for our Orlando vacation! The location is perfect—right off the highway and incredibly close to Universal Studios, Disney, and SeaWorld, making park visits a breeze. The house itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern and pristine.The kitchen was a highlight, with everything we needed to cook meals, and the large living and dining areas were great for relaxing and spending time together. The washer and dryer worked flawlessly, which was a huge plus for our longer stay. Parking was convenient and hassle-free.The backyard was a standout feature—beautifully maintained with access to a lake and fantastic kayaks that we enjoyed using. It was the perfect spot to unwind after busy days at the parks. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Orlando!
