House vacation rentals in Lake Sunapee

This is a beautiful property tucked away in the hills of farmland above Norwich. It was perfect for an extended family getaway. Kids loved the pool, ping-pong table and pool table and we loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. Great little hike with outstanding views about 20 minutes away on Gile Mountain.

I stayed at the Bedford Retreat for 3 months and felt right at home. Beautiful house with everything you need, close to downtown Manchester, close to stores and restaurants. Nice porch and backyard. Daniel was very responsive and friendly throughout my stay. Will definitely consider this place if I’m in the area again. Thank you!

Beautiful, historic home in a lovely neighborhood close to downtown Keene. Charming and cozy inside and out. Comfortable beds and furniture. Wonderful artwork by Ruth throughout her home. Large bright kitchen with everything you’d need to stay. Enjoyed the architecture and restaurants in Keene. Highly recommend Ruth’s home to stay in this area!

We had a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to stretch out. Located within 10-15 min. of Keene State activities, the purpose of our trip. Bryan was a wonderful host. Very responsive. Instructions were clear, directions very helpful. Everything we needed!!

My family and I truly enjoyed our time spent at the farmhouse. Everything was as expected from the listing. The pictures do not do justice for the property. It's beautiful and well maintained. The pool was nice, warm, and clean. There are yard games readily available and a nice fire pit area. Brin and Maria are super responsive and left very detailed instructions on the property for you. Everything you need is there minus food, which is a 12-minute drive towards a few different grocery stores. The hill is so fun to roll down, too! Thank you so much!

Staying here is always a joy for the entire family! It has become an annual tradition that we all look forward to in winter. Thank you for being so accommodating with our schedule and a special thanks to Mitchell for going the extra mile to snow blow a waking path for me and the dogs to keep our daily routine of visiting the horses, after the last storm brought over 13” of snow. Wonderful Stay with Family – Highly Recommended! We had an amazing stay at this property with our family. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was fantastic – very responsive and always available to help with any questions we had. Communication was seamless, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth experience. We really appreciated his hospitality. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay. We had a memorable time and would definitely return!

We had an amazing family ski weekend at this house! With four young children, finding a place that accommodates everyone can be challenging, but this house was perfect. It had two cribs, which was a huge bonus for us. The open floor plan made it easy to keep an eye on the kids while still enjoying time together as a family. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day on the slopes, and there was plenty of space for our entire group to spread out and feel comfortable. The location was also fantastic—just a short drive to Mount Sunapee, making it so easy to hit the slopes. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our weekend getaway!

This is an incredibly comfortable and remarkably well equipped lakefront house. Plenty of kitchen supplies and tools to keep the cooks happy, and all of the water gear anyone could ask for. We especially appreciated the large porch overlooking the lake. Close to the busy road (as was described in the listing), but blocked off and made visually private by fencing. Owners incredible, responding almost instantly, warmly, and generously.

We had a great stay here! It was simple and exactly what we needed, we’d definitely stay here again in future trips to Keene!

Great stay! Such a unique house, perfect for our friends to all get together. Plenty of spaces to all hang out together. Hot tub was great and very clean. Easy to find location and close to Woodstock and quechee

Had a girls trip weekend and the house was perfect. Plenty of beds to stay in house was very clean and our favorite part, the hot tub. Hot tub area was perfect fun and a nice way to relax. Brittney’s communication and directions were clear and easy to navigate. I would 100% stay here again

Adam and Nicole's house is wonderful! Great view, spacious, and so clean. We all felt very comfortable and cozy. Great amenities, and a nice deck that unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy because of the rainy weather! Still, we enjoyed our stay and didn't let the rain dampen our spirits. Hosts were both very responsive, no issues with check in. Highly recommend if you're looking for something off the beaten path and quiet, but close enough to restaurants and sight-seeing. Thumbs up for sure!

Quaint home with a homey feel. It was the perfect getaway spot with a responsive and amazing owner. Would highly recommend and well worth the stay. The peace and serenity of the home only add to the nature and openness surrounding the property. I can’t say enough about how amazing the stay and Dylan was!

Julie was a great host. The house is tucked away so it’s a bit hard to find but her directions helped us find it easily. The yard was great for the dogs and the dogs loved the beds and dog toys. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We were very happy to be able to stay in a dog friendly place so we could see family for Easter. Thank you!

You walk into Eric’s place and it feels like a home thoughtfully set up so that you can just walk in and be comfortable. It’s an “and, breathe” kind of relaxing, homey place. Eric was super responsive to any & all questions we had. We absolutely loved our time there and look forward to rebooking in the future!

Absolutely perfect! Peaceful and beautiful surroundings! Roomy and clean and had everything you could need. Loved the windows and the views from the windows! Harry and Bonnie were just the right around of friendly; they were nice and interacted with us but not at all intrusive! WiFi worked great but I really enjoyed not having a tv, we sat around in the evening having a glass of wine and playing games. Our daughter recently moved to the area so we would definitely love to stay at the cottage again!

We had a wonderful time at this home . Excellent view of the lake and the beach in a little cove is fantastic. We heard loons in morning and evening and saw a bald eagle 1st morning. If you like canoeing or kayaking this is a great spot. Much quieter than other parts of the lake. The home is completely modernized with excellent appliances and very relaxing. Great dining not to far away. Can't wait to go back again next year
