Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake County

Went here for my bachelorette weekend getaway and it was PERFECT. Could not have asked for a better place!

Three words: Cute, cozy and clean! This cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with my partner. We were impressed with how clean and well-organized the home was, and appreciated the peace and quiet. Would definitely book again!

Comfortable and convenient location. Hoping to return next year! Pros: -The beds! So comfortable, could raise and lower the head and foot. Ceiling fans. -Two 1/2 bathrooms! One in basement, 1 1/2 upstairs. With immediate hot water! -Roomy living room with plenty of seating. Huge TV. -Kitchen was very well stocked with plates, pots and pans, coffee pot and kettle. -Enjoyed sitting on the deck in morning/evening. -Temp in house was always comfortable. -Good location to walk to restaurants/lake/shopping. Cons: —When we arrived the house had not been cleaned. We informed Chelsea and Joel, they were there within minutes! We left to visit family, so not a problem. -Kitchen had all we needed to cook. No salt or oil, so had to shop immediately. Would be nice to have salt in the kitchen with the other spices that were available. -More hangers would be appreciated. -Upstairs apartment - could hear footsteps from above. Thankfully they were early to bed and early to wake just like us.

So impressed with the location! It was walkable to the brewery and shops. The trail and lake were directly across the street So amazed by the view of the sunrise from 2 of the bedrooms. Full kitchen had everything we needed to bake with. The place was perfect for our group of six. Relaxing and fulfilling long weekend spent with friends. Easy to get to the main highway to explore more! Would definitely book again in the future.

Beautifully decorated and clean home. Great amount of space for hanging out and cooking home meals. We were 2 couples for a getaway and were very comfortable in the space. Beds were really comfortable. Walking distance from the brewery and local cocktail spot, the tipsy mosquito, 10/10. Morning walks to the pier were also so great!

Our group had plenty of space and comfortable arrangements to make ourselves at home. Centrally location in Two Harbors allowed us to walk around town and access everything conveniently and quickly.

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Very charming house. Tastefully appointed and super clean with everything you need in an Airbnb for a comfortable stay. Had no issues with anything. Brenda was quick to respond when communicating arrival and departure notices.

We loved our stay--this is a really great place, super clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, has everything you need. It's a quick walk to the shops and restaurants and there is a nice view of the lake. We highly recommend Skye and Matt's place in Bayfield!

We loved our stay at Sandra’s place. It is even so much cuter and cozier in person! We were so comfortable and felt at home. It had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. We hiked and explored during the days and relaxed at night. The sunsets. at the beach just down the street were amazing. The general store down the street is adorable, I would highly recommend. Sandra’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We are looking forward to a return in the future!

We loved staying at Cassandra’s place! It was beautiful, the place is clean and cozy. It has everything that we need for a weekend stay in the north shore area. Close to state parks and the area is nice to explore. Definitely would recommend!

Paul’s place is very unique. It is an apartment in an old house which has been well preserved and taken care of. There is a beautiful view of Lake Superior from every room. Kathy has added sweet touches that make it homey, interesting and artistic. Kathy helped us with the heat and showed us how to access the cupola. You can see for miles. This apartment is accessed by steep stairs as is the rooftop view, so it is not for those with physical challenges. The kitchen is well stocked and is the heart of the apartment and we had a meal with friends. We loved our stay here!

We had such a great stay at Burlington View. We traveled to the Minnesota North Shore for our 10th anniversary and could not be happier with the location of the house. It was walkable to restaurants and shops, and within an hour of multiple beautiful places to explore. The house was clean, comfortable, and there were lots of tips and helpful instructions to make using the amenities easier. The space was very accommodating for our dogs as well, complete with bowls and toys. I would highly recommend Burlington View to anyone traveling to the Minnesota North Shore!

Perfect location. Loved watching the boats coming in and out of the harbor from the porch. Place was clean, bed was comfortable and I loved the decor.

Richelle was awesome. I came to town on an emergency and she allowed a same day reservation. Her communications were spot on and prompt. The place was very clean, comfortable and quiet. I would love to return sometime when I can enjoy the town and do some sites.

The stay at this Airbnb was great! We stayed for an extended period of time and have everything we needed and Karla was very responsive and super helpful! Highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Two Harbors!

We’re in love with Bayfield! We have stayed at the Boatyard condos before. It was obvious that this condo was being renovated. Updated pictures or a mention would have been appreciated. We had no hot water initially, but a text to Erin immediately sent someone to solve that issue. The location is ideal including watching folks take a cold plunge on New Year’s Day! We’ll return soon.

This was our second stay here. The hosts are helpful and responsive. We were so comfortable and the place is so central. We love it!

This is a great place to stay. Set back in a quiet area, but walkable to all restaurants, shops, and the ferry dock. The place itself is very comfortable and cute. The Murphy bed is awesome, easy to use, and mattress is very comfortable. Great view of Superior from bed, I could read from there all day. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location with a great view of the lake and cliffs! Loved the wood burning fireplace.

Cozy and comfortable condo a few blocks from every thing in Bayfield. Very clean everywhere, and a comfortable bed. Easy walk to the ferry, restaurants, and local hiking trails. Many cool shops and restaurants to explore. Beautiful views and colors in mid-October. Amanda was very helpful and responsive in fixing a TV connection problem. Would definitely recommend!

Great location for watching the boats coming and going, proximity to town and people watching. We could walk everywhere. Hence, our exhaustion after a busy Memorial Weekend.sail boat races could be seen and the spinnaker run was beautiful. Thank you for hosting your lovely home.

Great location just a block off Main Street. Brian responded quickly when we had a problem using the door code to get in. Good recommendations for the area and the place worked perfectly for our group of six.

One of the nicest and cleanest Airbnb's we've stayed so far! Kathryn and Tom were super friendly and very responsive! Their place is easily walkable to many restaurants, marina, ferry, cruises, etc. We really loved our stay! Thank you!
