The River House is far enough from the main road to be quiet and serene but is still just walking distance from the Russian River where you can float/swim all day. The house has incredibly fast wifi as well as an electric car charging port. The neighborhood has a tennis court, Pee Wee golf course, community playground, and the house is walking distance from the Rio Nido Roadhouse which offers incredible food, drinks, and live music.

Thora's place was perfect for a girl's weekend on the river! The house was well stocked and furnished/decorated nicely. The deck was great to hang out on and gave us extra space to relax in. The loft and spiral staircase was a fun detail but it was difficult having 2 people getting ready at the same time and it wasn't the most private room for changing. Regardless, the girls who slept in that room said it was comfortable and a cool experience. The toilet had a bidet attachment and a seat warmer which was helpful in the evenings when it was cold. It did get warm but all the fans in the house did a good job at keeping the place cool. At night, it was nice to use the fireplace and have a little extra warmth from the day. We used the kitchen a lot and it was spacious enough to have us all cooking at once. We did have an issue with the cleanliness of some of the dishes from the guests before us, but Thora informed us ahead of time and was very apologetic. We still had a great stay!

Michael’s place was absolutely gorgeous - tucked away, but a short drive from Johnson Beach. The home itself was beautiful, well stocked, and very comfortable for two families to hang out. A little challenging for a 1-year old (not baby-proofed), but our two 3-year olds had a blast (lots of kids toys to play with and lots of exploring to do). Michael was extremely responsive and very flexible. All in all, highly recommend and would love to be back!
