Host was prompt in responding to messages. Place was as described in photos. excellent for a family get together of 10-12 people. only inconveniences were, front door lock didn't latch well initially because of a loose bolt and we fixed it by tightening the bolt holding the latch slot in the door frame. other was not having latches on 2nd bathroom, requires a bit of coordination for using this. we are 3 families getting together and had a great time, look forward to doing it again next year.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to book again when we are in Indiana, PA!

This place was perfect for our family get away. It was quiet and peaceful but also very close to a number of things to do. We sipped coffee on the front porch, watching the mist burn off the valley every morning, and then soaked in the hot tub every night. We highly recommend the hike to Cucumber Falls, it was beautiful!

House was perfect! More than meet our expectations -even saw our first snowfall of the season!

Michael's home worked out great for our celebration. We had 20 people stay, and there was a spot for everyone. We shared some beds, but didn't need any air mattresses. The amenities were perfect for what we needed. We had plenty of room to hang out, and playing ping pong and foosball in the basement was a blast. Beautiful scenery, and very private as well.

We met my in laws for Thanksgiving week at Andrea and David’s home. It was a dream from booking to check out. They were responsive and helpful hosts, the home was the most well appointed AirBNB we have stayed in, and the space was perfect. This house is a GEM!! We had such a wonderful time at their home and in town. I cannot recommend this home enough- 10 stars! Thank you for making our Thanksgiving memorable and enjoyable!

The Homestead and crew were phenomenal! We travel for work and our hosts were very flexible and communicative. The house is in a great peaceful neighborhood and I have never been in an Airbnb with so many amenities! This place has a full kitchen with everything you need, we didn’t even have to buy spices. We will absolutely be back and recommend the Homestead to all who wish to stay in the Hidden Valley area.

We had a lovely stay and the house was nice for our family. Location was conveniently located within 10 minutes of The Grand Halle in Johnstown where we attended a wedding. The house was clean and neighborhood was quiet. There was a nice welcome basket when we arrived with a note and some snacks which we appreciated. There was several random cosmetics in the closet and in the bathrooms just in case you forgot anything and even a steamer for your clothes. The laundry room had a few laundry pods and dryer sheets too which was helpful. One thing I would say that was unexpected was that the upstairs room, there is NO door to that room, so you lose that privacy aspect and the bed seemed smaller than a queen as it was a tight fit for 2 adults. Other than that surprise with no door to the bedroom upstairs, we were happy with our stay! The few messages I sent with the host she was extremely responses and helpful/prompt. We will for sure be staying again next time we are in town. Thanks!

What a wonderful Airbnb! Cozy and clean. Close to everything in Altoona. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are amazing. The showers have both a rain shower head or a moveable shower head - very spa-like. Immaculately clean! Lovely stay!

Very cute cottage like home. Loved the vintage feel! We were very comfortable during our one night stay. Marie offered for us to check in early and check out later which was nice. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the hot tub.

This was a great stay. Tyler was able to work with us on a last minute booking and making sure the house was ready for us. He checked in after we arrived to make sure we didn’t have any questions and that we found everything. It was great that we could have our dog. The bed was super comfy and of course we had a blast in the arcade. Tyler had everything set up that if we forgot anything he had it there. We enjoy golf so it was fun to see the course right in the back yard. We only stayed one day but you could easily stay a few days. We will be back in the future for sure.

Anni's place was just as described! Super clean and spacious! The little chocolates on the beds were a perfect touch and we even received a welcome card! The house was conveniently located 15 minutes from the wedding venue that me and my friends were in. She even allowed us to let some of our other friends crash because they could not check into their motel after the wedding. She was very responsive and nice! Amazing host.

Most places, the photos make the rooms look larger than they are but in this case they are just as big as they are in the photos, so much space! This is such a cute, cozy home. Wish we were able to enjoy it longer than we did, we were only using it as a place to rest between busy travel days. Highly recommend this Airbnb.

We spent a girls weekend at Four Mile Cottage. We enjoyed spending time at the cottage and relaxing. We had a nice fire in the fire pit on Saturday night after spending the day exploring downtown Ligonier and shopping. The cottage was well equipped and clean. We would book again.

Clean spacious home on quiet road. 5 stars very recommended!

Our family of six plus pups had a great stay at Janet’s place. The guest house was warm and welcoming, spotless and with all the amenities we needed. Janet was very responsive and flexible. We enjoyed lounging at the house and exploring the local sights. In addition to Fallingwater, highly recommend Glades Pike Winery just down the road.

Dana’s place is beautiful and fit all our needs. We can’t thank her enough for all the communications with us prior to our arrival especially with the inclement weather that we ran into on the way. When we arrived we found the home to be all decorated for Christmas, tree lit, heater on in the kitchen with baked cookies there with a happy birthday note! Guests can feel how Dana wants you to enjoy and be comfortable. The location is ideal just around the corner from Jimmy Stewart’s house and the museum! I loved the birthday dinner at Benjamin’s also which is just a few blocks from the house. Thank you Dana and we look forward to a future stay if you will have us again in 2025. 😊

The house was great. I felt like I was on an episode of that 70’s show. Susan was a great host, checked on us to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. The cookies were a great welcome touch. Would definitely stay again when in the area

Brandy's place was wonderful. I was a little bit worried about being in the city but it was SO quiet. Really a joy to stay there. So many thoughtful touches and Brandy is wonderful to correspond with. I highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

This is our second time at Pamela’s place. We love how peaceful it is. It’s a great place to retreat to after an eventful day out and about. Staying at Pamela’s place feels like coming home.
