We had a great stay at Heather Mary's place! The location is phenomenal for exploring everything Berkeley Springs has to offer - we were able to leave our car in the driveway and walk to everything. The house has everything you could possibly need, was incredibly well organized, and was spacious enough for our party of 5 (1 grandma, 2 parents, and 2 kids). Our kids already keep asking when we can "go back to the cottage"!

We truly enjoy our 2+ week stay in Linden! The house was perfect for our family - including 3 teenagers! They loved the basement game room giving us the extra space we needed to stretch out. The beds were super comfy. The neighbor hood is convenient to main highways making getting around a breeze. We loved sitting on the front deck drinking coffee and watching the deer. Our dogs Also approve! Thank you Robert for your hospitality!!

Can’t recommend the Firefly Cellars cottage enough! My husband and I biked the Washington and Old Dominion trail out from DC (you can also take the Silver Line part way for a shorter ride), stayed overnight and biked back the next day. The cottage had everything we wanted after a long day biking (tasting at the winery, a fire pit, a hot tub) as well as just being a lovely place to spend a night. Everyone working at the tasting room was awesome and Andrea in particular was super responsive to my questions— mainly about whether this was a feasible trip without a car (it is!). Can’t wait to come back!

A quirky and fun experience. James home gives you an updated kitchen and bathroom with a quaint old house feel. The beds are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the short walk to town. The driveway was steep and we appreciated the ability to park in the lower spot also available. The little details like a HDMI in a basket and all the cleaning supplies was great. Having three small bedrooms for our group at this price was perfect.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The location is excellent. Only 10 minutes to shops, restaurants, and activities, but very private and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the horses, cows, and sheep at the neighboring farm from the patio. It was also fun finding all the fox decoration accents at the property.

10/10 will book again! Dolly was an excellent host and the space was spotless, stylish, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made it feel just like home. The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen? Fully equipped. And the location? Perfect – close to everything, but quiet enough for a peaceful night’s rest. I needed to be close to Winchester but also wanted privacy and to be out of the city so my dogs would be more comfortable. It was perfect. The outdoor space was top notch and my dogs were so happy to run around off leash in the fenced in back yard. But what really set this experience apart was the host. Dolly was unbelievably responsive, kind, and helpful. There was clearly a lot of time and effort put into making the stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for the guests.

This was a nice place and great location to Bear Chase Brewery (walkable) and hiking trails. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with recommendations in the area. They provided early check-in and late check-out which was very accommodating and appreciative. On arrival, we were surprised to see how close the house was next door and didn't realize this when booking the property. The hot tub was a great amenity even though we weren't able to use it much due to nasty weather. It was dirty on arrival but was cleaned quickly after informing the host. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Lovely cottage! Perfect place for a busy mom to relax and recharge after the holidays. I am keeping this one on my favorites list for next time I need a get away, would love to come back. I felt well taken care of--like I was in a friend's home. Sitting on the couch with a cup of tea and reading a book was great, especially after a morning at the spa. Aaaaahhhh.

Jen's place was clean, comfortable, quiet and well stocked. It truly felt like our "home away from home". We stayed here when our daughter had twins and due to unexpected circumstances we needed to extend our stay...2 times. Jen's communication, response time to messages and her willingness to help is the best I have ever experienced on Airbnb. We look forward to our next trip to see our daughter and we will definitely stay at Jen's again. Thanks again Jen!!!

Absolutely amazing stay! The cottage was beautiful, clean, and cozy, exactly what we were hoping for. The private surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape. With its large picture windows and lovely stone porch, this home is the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the views down to Goose Creek and the meadow below. We enjoyed watching the geese, groundhogs, herons, and deer and at night hearing the frogs. This is a perfect getaway for anyone looking for peace, privacy, and a natural setting. And for those who like fine dining, shopping, and historical/cultural venues, the town of Middleburg is a seven minute drive away.

Mark’s place was perfect! It was just what our family of four needed for a last-minute getaway. The house is beautiful and unique and we appreciated the basket of goodies. Location’s convenient to Harper’s Ferry, Charles Town, Frederick, Shepherdstown. My husband loved the sauna! Mark was super kind and responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

This was a perfect spot for a few days in Middleburg. Cozy place on a beautiful property and close to town! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area. The booking process had extra steps that I've never had to do before like uploading a photo of my driver's license and answering several questions about our family. I felt a little uncomfortable giving all that info out, but we had to book last minute due to a family funeral and didn't have a lot of options. All in all we did have a nice stay. Everything was beautiful, well organized, and suited our needs.

This home had all of the little touches that take a rental from four to five stars: comfy beds, quality linens, well-equipped kitchen, games, throw blankets, etc…We had a lovely stay, and the hosts were very communicative and gave clear instructions for everything in the house and a great guidebook for local activities. The home was exceptionally clean, and the location was peaceful. We had a fantastic time connecting as a family, spending as much time just relaxing at the house as out and enjoying the local area of Harper’s Ferry.

Lovely little place for a brief get-away in West Virginia (was there to run the half marathon). Fantastic location, sweet aesthetic and basically everything you could want.

We had an absolutely FANTASTIC time at Casita Azul! Our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful from start to finish. The location is wonderful. It’s on a small side street with no outlet, so it was very private and quiet, but still just steps away from fantastic restaurants and bars. We walked across the street to The Barn for live music and cocktails every night of our stay. The spiral stairs are a bit tricky, but this was made very clear to us before booking, so we were informed and came prepared. (And our kids actually thought it was the best thing ever.) There’s a huge fenced in yard and the house was very clean and comfortable. I was particularly happy with how comfortable the king sized bed was. So many perfect pillows!

Excellent location in a quiet peaceful neighborhood on Camp Hill. Easy walk downhill to the historic section of Harpers Ferry (Lower Town) but a bit of a challenge to walk back up the hill. Nice walk nearby down a section of the Appalachian Trail to Jefferson Rock. House was clean and comfortable. Spiral staircase to second floor could be difficult for some. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Big lawn and porch to sit out on. Perfect location for my husband, daughter and I to explore the area for a few days.

My best friend and I chose Jennifer’s home for a weekend girls’ weekend. From the moment we booked, Jennifer was responsive and super friendly, ready with recommendations for wineries and restaurants nearby. This continued throughout our stay — she even offered an earlier check-in and later check-out, which was so appreciated! Her place is legit even better than the photos and description. We felt instantly welcomed and comfortable. While we definitely enjoyed the peaceful location and proximity to local wineries and charming historic Hillsboro and Purcellville, I truly think the best part was the super positive vibe of the home and our host and how that allowed us to really relax and enjoy ourselves. Hands down the best air bnb experience I’ve had. We’ve already talked about coming back and making this an annual tradition. Two couples so having the carriage house, bed and bath, was great. First day we walked Harpers Ferry - what beautiful scenery. The 2nd day we drove to Gettysburg (1 hr) and that was impressive. Wish we had planned a 3rd day as many recommended a visit to Antietam. Maybe next time. The home was very clean and well appointed. Bryan & Cathy rate very high on the host scale.

Bridget’s cottage was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay. The Cottage was in a on her farm in a quiet and beautiful spot nestled in the mountains. The most important thing for us was the cottage was located 5 minutes from several wineries and our daughter’s wedding venue so the location was perfect. The bonus of our stay was Bridget met us at the cottage because it was raining and ferried all our luggage and wedding decorations on her golf cart to the cottage. Such a fantastic host!
