Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Hyco Lake

We enjoyed our stay at Kristen’s place. She had given us all the information we needed before our arrival. Everything was clean and we felt at home upon our arrival. We had room to spread out (there were only 3 of us) without feeling like we were on top of each other. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house due to our obligations in the area but what time was spent there we felt safe and didn’t worry about anyone around us as we never heard or saw any neighbors. The house is close enough to town that we didn’t have to travel far to find restaurants or grocery stores.

So glad we found this home! We often visit the area for our sons fishing tournaments. This house is perfect for our group! The fenced in back yard area was a highlight, since we bring our pup. The yard still has plenty of space outside the fenced area too, for playing yard games! Plenty of time was enjoyed on the screened in porch! The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. The neighbors were all friendly too! We have zero complaints. Worth every penny!

This house is excellent! It’s very spacious and peaceful. We had a great time staying with Sheryl. She was very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the new Caesar Casino in Danville. It’s only a 6-minute drive away.

Great stay and house was awesome! Kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. Really beautiful setting and loved watching the cows in the pastures as they were grazing. Very peaceful and enjoyed every minute!

Yuan was an amazing host super accommodating with my last-minute booking after our original plans fell through. After a quick conversation, he had no problem with us bringing pets, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, and bonus there’s a pool! Highly recommend.

CHARMING! Super clean and well decorated. Outdoor space is great: grassy fenced yard, big trees for shade, birds singing, hot tub, brick oven fireplace, patio table and lights. Neighborhood was perfectly quiet at all hours. This is our combined 4th AirBnB stay and by far the best.

Stayed here during a festival at VIR, and felt right at home! Michelle was incredibly responsive and the listing instructions were clear and easy to follow.

This was our third time staying at Martha's place and it was just as great as the first! We always enjoy staying here when we visit family, definitely our "go-to" place to stay. The living spaces, bedrooms, kitchen, everything is always clean and pristine. Martha is always so communicative and helpful in accommodating anything we might need. All in all, it feels just like home every time we stay!

This is a simple but great space in a lovely neighborhood! Maureen was always incredibly responsive and helpful, and the 11am check in time gave us a lot of flexibility. The backyard is large and peaceful, with pretty flowers and lighted areas that were nice for sitting out and relaxing in the evening. I would definitely recommend this apartment, especially for a couple or a student looking for a long-term rental.

We were in town for a long weekend of wandering so this was home base for our stay. It had all the modern amenities and the charm of the early 1900s, including original hardwood floors and soaring ceilings. As the photos show, there's plenty of space to relax, both inside and out. Definitely a unique property. Our, who was very responsive before, during and after our stay, included small touches that make a visit just a little more convenient, especially if you arrive late like we did. Flexible bedside chargers, plenty of coffee pods for the next morning, and a few beverages in the fridge - not necessary, but much appreciated. A very enjoyable visit.

Danville is my hometown and I come back once a year to visit. This was my fourth time staying at Charles and Lynn‘s Airbnb and I have to that it really feels like home! Charles quickly responds to messages and always checks in to make sure everything is okay. The apartment is always pristine and everything you might need is st your fingertips. It’s also conveniently located to the downtown area and to the beautiful Riverwalk Trail. Most importantly, I feel safe with Charles and Lynn close by. I‘ll continue to stay there as long as it’s available!

Great stay with a rustic experience. Loved hearing the rooster when i arrived and the frogs at night. The Magnolia tree smells amazing. Definitely off thr beaten path and a great get away for fast paced city folks. The studio had some many detailed touches and was very nice!

Jeff is very responsive, and helpful. I’ve visited the area before, and seen the unit now. While I was unable to make my visit this time due to unforeseen events, I plan on staying here real soon.

This was the cleanest and most comfortable place we have ever booked through Air BnB. My only regret is we were only in town for one night. The building is easy to find, rental unit was spotless and very well equipped. So much attention to detail! Ballad Brewing is next door and we enjoyed our evening there as well!

We loved everything about our stay at the flat. We were able to walk to a few local restaurants, a coffee shop, the riverfront and there is a great, family friendly brewery right around the corner. The flat was very clean, beds were comfortable and we appreciated the added extra touch of having toiletries, coffee and snacks.
