Vacation rentals with lake access in Hyco Lake

We've stayed at Kristen's home three times. It is a peaceful and lovely location, and the house is very clean and welcoming. We find Roxboro a fun little town, and it is close to Virginia. I highly recommend.

We use this for our pastors annual retreat and it provided plenty of room for them to gather and also spaces for them to find solitude when necessary and also provide a great community space outside which they really enjoyed

The property is gorgeous, but the contract named rules not mentioned in the listing, and I wasn't sent the contract until a few days before we moved in, far too late to book something else - which I would have done, because this rendered this property less than ideal for us. I wish the listing was more clear and the contract was sent immediately after booking. The property itself, however was clean and beautiful.

We LOVED our stay. It was perfect for our family. The home had all the conveniences we look for in a rental. The beds were comfy, lake towels were provided which was a bonus, very clean, great outdoor seating and lots of fun stuff in the boat house for the kids and adults too. Would def book here again. Loved the little touches like games/magnetic blocks for the kids. PacMan was a hit!!!

My sister and I rented the Rabbit Hole during Thanksgiving week. Our families had the best time and would love to return next Summer when we can enjoy Hyco Lake. Heather, the host, was very responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. We cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was perfect. We had everything we needed. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful views from every floor. The kids loved the game room and the bunkbed room. The house is beautifully decorated and quite cozy, and far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Heather and family for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This place is a gem! Only 30 minutes from home but provided great location for a weekend of R&R. The house is very clean and the layout was wonderful. There were clear instructions that laid out every detail you could need! Aimee was immediately responsive when we thought we would have an unplanned additional overnight guest and I wanted to inform her as much ahead of time as possible. The house is spotless there are kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy, the entire place feels like home and I couldn’t have had a more enjoyable stay. I will 1000% be back.

This is a cute house on the lake in a quiet neighborhood. At night the stars are amazing. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the sounds of nature. The home was well equipped for our needs. Home was comfortable. The bed was a little hard to get out of with the wooden platform so may be difficult for some. Not really an issue and it makes up for in comfort. Had the best night sleep. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Beautiful gem of a spot! The private dock access and water toys (floats, kayaks, paddle boards) are such an awesome feature. The space was comfortable for our entire group, in rain and in sun. Host was responsive and kind and let us have late check out. Definitely will come again! Highly recommend!

Wonderful. Highly recommended. Especially loved that you set up the fire pit in back so I could easily start a fire. We ate our breakfast by the fire. That was my highlight.

An amazing relaxing and secluded spot. Great if you like fishing they also have a dock to dock your boat. best of all was Mickey his wife and Miss Lily. Wonderful people and a wonderful environment that they have provided.

We stayed in this little piece of paradise while visiting family. It was exactly what we needed. The home was beautiful and farm was so peaceful. We will definitely use this home again for further visits.

This place was wonderful! I stayed in unit 2 for 2 nights. Was here for a vacation visiting family. Elizabeth is a wonderful host. Very kind and responsive. The apartment was well stocked and had everything you need plus a few extras! The place was cozy and spacious. Very clean, unique and decorated nicely. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great time at the Cottage! The lake was beautiful to kayak on and the general environment was very relaxing. The host was super kind and great with communication! Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area!

Loved loved the stay. Great for my family including my dogs. Only thing missing was a few sauce pots but I made it work without them just fine. Will definitely be back to spend more time at the boathouse.

Afika’s Beacon House is an art treasure on Lake Cammack. The location is perfectly situated between town and country here in the heart of North Carolina Piedmont. While still under some renovation during our stay, the house was warm and comfortable. All the amenities were complete, and what’s more, our host went out of his way to ensure that we felt welcome and were made comfortable the whole time. Be warned that one ought to be cautious of the wetland landscape alongside the lake, especially off-season. Visitors should bring and use proper footwear while hiking on lakeside city property nearby.

Very peaceful, private location with beautiful surroundings and wonderful lake access. Everything was as described and pictured.

We had a great time paddle boarding the lake and chilling on the screened porch. Went out for drinks to buoys to break up the stay.

Me and 7 friends stayed here for blue ridge rock festival this year. Despite the festival being a total crap show and us only getting to enjoy 1 1/2 days of the festival, we got to enjoy this beautiful house. We had plenty of movies and game nights, as well as enjoying each others company by the lake. The view from the living room and kitchen area is amazing. Me and my friends agree our trip was saved because of where we stayed. Thank you Monique for opening up your home to us :)

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hideaway. It was peaceful, the home was exceptionally clean, and it had everything we could ever need and more! The boathouse was so perfect with optimal shade all day and outstanding fishing, we caught a 21” catfish and many massive bass. There weren’t as many bugs as one would expect being in the woods, but we did love the screened patio and the screened room down on the dock. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone!

Very nice please , quickly responded to questions and to extending our stay. Second time there , will stay again.
