Farmstay vacation rentals in Humboldt County

What a find! We wanted a peaceful, restful week and we got just that at the ranch. The cabins are comfortable, rustic and with a simplicity of the woods that made it magical! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, the beds and nooks were comfortable and we were a drive or walk away from amazing natura retreats (swimming, fishing, hiking). We will definitely come back.

Our group of 11 volunteers from our monastery thoroughly enjoyed their retreat. Elijah was on site and excelled in his pragmatic and friendly hospitality. He went beyond the call of duty to assist our group feel safe and welcomed. If you enjoy off the grid and a remote location experience while still having the basic amenities, this retreat is for you. Such a tranquil place with an amazing view of the Trinity river. House is well furnished and beautiful decor.

This is the perfect place for a quiet vacation. The river is a short walk from the cabin, we were able to hike nearby trails and the town of Willow Creek is only about a 3 minute drive away! The cabin was just like the pictures. Cozy, and had everything we needed. The host checked in with us by text on arrival and was responsive for any questions we had. The cabin was cozy and had beautiful views. The hot tub in the meadow was peaceful. Got to see some deer too! Would come again.

Mark's guest suite is lovely, secluded and spacious. It a perfect spot for my daughter and I to stay while visiting Cal Poly Humboldt. GPS failed me a time or two, but Mark was thoughtful enough to provide explicit instructions for how to find his house. I hope to stay here again when I'm in the area.

The house is great and the location in terms of accessing the Redwood State and National Parks could not be better. The house was very well appointed and Charlene was great at checking in to make sure we had what we needed. 5 stars!!

The Pink House exceeded our expectations. Everything was top notch from the linens and mattresses, to everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to the heated towel rack in the bathroom. But best of all was the patio area, the swing and the view of the ocean. Very peaceful, relaxing and comfortable.

The house is extremely comfortable and the yard is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only suggestion would be additional seating in the living room. I would highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding is very nice quality.

Nicole’s home was absolutely beautiful! It’s exactly what we were looking for. The pictures did not do it justice. Such a beautiful farmhouse and the best thing was being able to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee and just enjoy the beauty around us. It was clean, fun, cozy and well designed inside to make you feel right at home. Another amazing thing was how the cows right in the front yard welcomed us :) Will definitely be going back!!

Kylees place was beautiful! Very secluded with beautiful views. Her horses were right out back when we arrived, almost as if they were there just to greet us! Just a little peice of advice, if at all possible, do ANY shopping before going as being secluded, it is quite a jont to any stores. But, loved it! would stay again

Pauline was so open and friendly, from the moment she accepted our request I could tell we had booked the perfect place for our long weekend getaway to visit the redwoods and nearby small towns. From pictures I knew the inside would be colorfully decorated. There was so much functionality hidden behind the tapestries. It was a way to feel away from home while still feeling at home. The bathroom and patio outside our bedroom felt like an oasis. And the fresh eggs were a special treat.

Pam was very sweet and we really enjoyed our time at her farm cottage. I'd recommend it to anyone that is looking for a relaxing place to stay...

This home was perfect for our larger friend group, and we immediately felt at home. The house itself felt so cozy and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!

Master bathroom wasn't working. Everything else was perfect.

Tina’s house was huge and in a beautiful location. The majority of the state in this area is redwood forrest, however Tina’s place is in a very rural flat land farm town surrounded by fields of farm animals. Her house is a mere 10 minutes off the 101, which is 25 or so minutes to Avenue of the Giants (which we stayed here for that half-marathon) and 15 minutes to Eurkeka. We loved the remoteness of the house. There are cows on property and workers driving around the area, however that didn’t bother us at all. We initially booked this place as we expected to have another couple staying with us, however they bailed, so it was just my wife and I. The place was massive for just two of us. We didn’t really even use the second half of the house. The wood burning fireplace was nice, if not a bit difficult to figure out how to work. Central heating was perfect as it was a bit chilly in the area as well. We also LOVED the tiny town of Ferndale. It’s exactly what you hope for. Thank you!

Great stay! This place was awesome, felt big and the kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. We came to a very clean house. The views from there were amazing and the place is well located for hikes in the redwood national and state park. We found great hikes (long or short) within 10 minutes drive.

a wonderful, cozy house. complete silence. one of the two nights we saw an incredible starry sky. it was so low and most of the stars were like huge diamonds. bright and big. I have never seen such magic in any observatory. and after a while a meteor flew by. a huge orange ball with a strip of light behind it. which lasted for several seconds. the sight was incredible. we were driving from San Francisco - of course the road is not easy and in some places there is impassable road. but nature compensated for everything.

We loved this place! Not many places you can just disconnect and relax. Everything, and everyone, was so welcoming. The views and river were stunning! The place was clean and well stocked! We hope to come back!
