Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hoover

LOVED this place! Hands down my favorite Air B&B to date. Exceptionally clean and beautifully designed and decorated. We felt at home and comfortable the whole stay. The house is also in a really nice neighborhood. We were there for a travel baseball tournament at the Hoover Met Complex, which was only about a nice 10 min drive away. Also all communication was Outstanding!! I highly recommend staying here, and we definitely will again if back in the area.

We enjoyed staying here. A quiet neighborhood, and comfortable home with plenty of room to spread out. The backyard offered a nice gathering area, and the grill was great for those of us living in an area where grilling isn’t allowed. Julie was quick to reply to our questions or concerns. I’d stay here again.

5 Stars – Perfect Spot for a Golf Getaway or Group Trip! My friend and I stayed at Chris’s Airbnb in Birmingham for a 3-night, 4-day golf trip and had a fantastic experience. The home is located in an older neighborhood, but we had no issues at all with safety during our stay. In fact, the location was very convenient—close to golf courses, restaurants, and grocery stores. The house was very clean, appeared recently updated, and had plenty of space. It would be great for larger groups or families. One of the highlights was the downstairs entertainment area—it was a really cool space to relax after a long day on the course. Chris was an outstanding host. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and he generously allowed us to check in early. As a thoughtful touch, he left a handwritten welcome note along with golf balls and tees, knowing we were in town for a golf getaway. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Birmingham—especially for golf trips or group stays.

The location was very quiet and secluded but so close to so many things. Having two bedrooms with attached bathrooms was great for my stay. I would definitely stay again.

This is my second time staying at Kelly's place. It's very private and I love the front porch where you can sit and no one will bother you.

This is our second stay here. It's a great place. It's close to the train track but that didn't bother us. The host is incredibly responsive and generally awesome. Highly recommend. The backyard is really nice if you have an animal. It's fully fenced, large and well furnished!

Beautiful home , well maintained, modern up to date appliances, close to highways, and supermarket, beautiful neighborhood and yard. Very responsive host. Enjoyed our stay while we were there for my son’s graduation from The University of Alabama.

Britney’s place was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. I could live there. Felt very homey and comfortable. It is a large one bedroom loft that is very spacious. The building is right in the heart of Birmingham with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We will stay there again.

This place is truly beautiful and just so adorable. Hosts were super responsive and it was easy to get in and out and walk to coffee shop and restaurants, was super convenient to the event that I came for. As others mentioned the train sounds are noticeable - I ended up wearing noise canceling headphones my second night and I also recommend an eye mask- the parking lot lights are quite bright that are across from the place, even with the blinds closed. Bed was comfy and the couch was lovely. The decor is also super cute.

We went for a wedding weekend and enjoyed our stay. Great location. Close to so many restaurants. Place was clean, cozy, and absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Would definitely stay here again!

Susan was a great host. We had a problem with the A/C, but she addressed it right away and resolved the issue. And for our one day inconvenience her refunded our full amount. If the property is available I will be staying there again. Thanks.

Chris was awesome. I left something inside and realized after check in, I messaged him and we coordinated on me getting what I left. As for the apartment, it’s new, smell new and plenty of space. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here while working this past week in Birmingham. The location was perfect!!! The instructions on how to enter the building were so easy to understand and it was a breeze to get into the unit. It’s a very secure building. The was an odor in the hall but nothing horrendous just something I couldn’t place. Would have loved a floor lamp or table lamp in the living room but that’s just personal preference. The only “issue” is the unit is right across the street from children’s hospital so you can hear ambulances but so easy to tune out. Loved having on-site parking and you can actually see the spot for the unit. Tried to book it again for July work trip but it was already booked. Would definitely stay here again

Great little spot. .... I am already expecting to book this place again. Within walking distance from quite a few wonderful restaurants. If you're ready for City Living this is your spot. If you want peace and quite the Zen Garden is perfect. I didn't pack a swim suit but I definitely will next time. Shelia is a Super Host that puts your needs in that Priority List. Great place to stay. It was our second time. Clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet and close to shopping, restaurants and Samford. Lauren was helpful and quick to reply to any questions. We hope to stay again in the future.

It was so nice. We loved the location because we love Homewood! The place was very comfortable and beautifully furnished!

This is a great place central to downtown Birmingham. Right above an awesome pizza restaurant and gelato shop. Place is exactly as pictured. The windows are beautiful. We stayed for a month and followed his helpful directions on getting a monthly parking pass for the lot right across the street and it worked out great! Would definitely stay here again.

We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Hoover. This place is super clean, safe, and roomy. It is in a nice location that is convenient to everything you need.

Joe’s place is very nice! I think it’s exactly what the pictures depicted and worked really well for our one night stay. Joe was very responsive to my messages and helped coordinate an early check in based on our need for that. That was very much appreciated and would recommend this property and any others he may have, based on that service alone!

Joanna's apartment was great! Beautifully updated and simply decorated. Firm beds, spotless showers and kitchen, comfortable den furniture. perfect for our brief stay for college Orientation.

Joycelyn's place is perfect if you want a nice quite place that feels like home. We were there for a wedding and to have some fun exploring the city of Birmingham. This condo was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! Joycelyn was very responsive. Her place was very clean and had all of the items you need to enjoy a short weekend or a longer stay. The area that it is located in is beautiful! We will stay here again!
