Vacation rentals with a kayak in Holden Beach

This was a beautiful home with a lot of space for our group. It was attractive with everything supplied that we needed except food and personal items!! The four bedrooms with baths were comfortable. Opportunity for exercise was also provided with 17 steps up to each of the four floors!! An elevator made getting our food and luggage to various floors easier than taking the steps. But by taking the steps during our stay, we burned a lot of calories! For entertainment there was everything from books and games to kayaks and bicycles provided. There were water views of the ocean and the Intercoastal waterway from the several porches that were provided with rockers and lounges. The path to the beach access was very close. There was one restaurant within walking distance. Otherwise a car was needed for groceries and other shopping. There was ample parking on the property for our 4 vehicles, two of which used the garage. Emily’s place is among the best rentals we have visited.

Great weekend stay. Close to the beach, Southport and Bald Head Island. Host was very responsive and attentive. Our daughter even forgot an item that they found and sent back to us!

Wonderful stay! Absolutely fabulous owners who were quick to respond to messages. On the quieter side of the island which is what we were looking for our stay. Easy, enjoyable walk(took about 10 mins) to the beach with the use of a provided wagon to haul our belongings. Bike are provided but we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use them. Fenced in back yard that was dreamy and so peaceful. There were few hiccups(no bed linens and the a/c went out upstairs) which were out of the owners control but Tammy was quick to respond and have them taken care of. The house was clean, inviting and fully stocked. The little touches were appreciated. Wonderful stay for a family! Would highly recommend.

Hidden gem. Off the beaten path but incredibly peaceful and quiet. House was well maintained and had everything to make the weekend easy. Loved that it was dog friendly.

Five Stars All the Way! We had the most incredible stay at Vaycash on Bald Head Island! From the moment we walked in, it felt less like a rental and more like staying at a dear friend’s beautiful home. Stef has thought of everything—the home is gorgeously decorated, full of charm, and stocked with more amenities than any place we've ever stayed. This was hands-down the most above-and-beyond experience we’ve ever had with an Airbnb. Every detail was thoughtfully done—from the fully equipped kitchen (a dream to cook in!) to the peaceful, tucked-away location in the woods that gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The golf cart made exploring the island a breeze, and the kids were thrilled with the bikes and kayaks. Stef’s generosity and attention to detail made this getaway truly special—we didn’t want to leave! We can’t recommend Vaycash highly enough and are already dreaming about our next visit.

This house was EXACTLY as described! The location was perfect and the home was immaculate. We have been to Ocean Isle several times and this was our FAVORITE place that we have stayed. Gina was great at communication and made sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back!

I can’t say enough good things about Chris and his home. The house was a nice walking distance to the beach and Chris provides everything you could possibly need to enjoy the day on the beach for adults and kids. There is nothing missed. The outdoor shower was a blessing after coming off the beach, especially for cleaning off my 3 grandsons without bringing the sand in the house. Chris also provides everything you need in the home, to kitchen supplies, bath supplies and infant items (high chair, pack and play). The back screened in porch was so relaxing and we had every meal sitting outside without the worry of bugs :). He is also very present with communication before, during and the last day of our stay and always had kind words. We had a great time and his home will definitely be our first choice for the next time we look for a place to stay on the island. Thank you Chris!!

This is a beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. Short walk to the beach and canal. Golf cart is definitely worth having as everything you would want to do is just a short ride and offers free parking. Home is equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and private. Great if you have kids. Homeowner is great as he always responded quickly to any questions I had prior to our arrival. Once you are there, the detailed instructions provided will guarantee a great stay. Definitely recommend and hope to return again.

We loved our stay here! Such a cute and comfy cottage, perfect for a beach trip; it comes stocked with pretty much everything you could ask for. Loved that it was walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, as well as beach access points, while also being tucked away down the street for a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. Todd was an excellent host as well, very friendly and responsive. Thanks so much!!!

Our stay at Michelle and Jason's was exactly what we hoped for. Very relaxing and so much to do around the house. The complimentary golf cart was such a great addition to being able to see everything. When we arrived we had a few questions for the owners and not only did Jason get back to us promptly, he also came to the house and helped us out. Already getting ready to book 2 houses with Michelle and Jason for next year! A 5 Star Stay!!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy vintage beach cottage! Tucked away on a quiet, peaceful street, it was the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. The welcoming front porch was a favorite spot to sip morning coffee and enjoy the breeze. Inside, the cottage has a charming coastal vibe with vintage touches that add character and warmth. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making it both stylish and comfortable. The space was clean, well-kept, and incredibly well-supplied with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to beach gear. If you're looking for a place with personality, tranquility, and easy access to Oak Island’s beautiful beaches, this cottage is a fantastic choice. We’d definitely come back!

This was our second time staying at this house. It’s very comfortable, beds have great mattresses, kitchen has everything you need. The walk to town is safe and easy. Savoir Latin restaurant is 5 minute walk, fabulous food. Highly recommend this location. Tucked away from traffic, driveway parking and relaxing front porch.

Second stay at Scott and Brittany’s place they are great hosts the cottage has everything you need and more Love the location close to beach and other amenities, view from the back deck Is absolutely stunning. We will be back next year.
