Farmstay vacation rentals in Harpeth River

My husband, 5&3 year old children and our old lady pup Molli enjoyed a 5-night stay at Jorie’s cottage while in the area visiting family over the Easter holiday. The cottage was the perfect peaceful getaway, being in close proximity to area attractions. We definitely would recommend this cottage to anyone that needs a homier place to stay while in this area of Tennessee.

Judy made our stay fabulous. Great communication and instructions on how to get there and self check in was easy. We will book again when travel to Nashville or close to. Did I mention how clean the place is? It was a nice quick ride to broadway but far enough away to feel like you are away from everything. So nice to have a quiet space to re set from the hustle and busy of the city. Cleaner than a hotel and comforts of home. Perfect stay!

This place is gorgeous. We visited for a surprise birthday party and have considered making this an annual trip. We felt safe having our kids explore, which there was plenty to explore! The trails are well kept, the bridge is so cute, and the waterfall is so relaxing. We walked the trail several times. The fruit orchard is great. My kids LOVED walking around and eating fruit and collecting eggs. The weather wasn’t the most friendly, but we enjoyed the variety of available games in the kitchen area and had a great time. We had enough firewood to burn wood for 2 nights. It’s a great venue.

We enjoyed our stay at Troy’s place. The house was nicely decorated and more than spacious for the two of us. We loved the setting. Even though we were a few minutes from all of the action, it felt like we were in the countryside. The place is as described: clean and welcoming. We appreciated finding extra paper products, washing and cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers, foil, wraps and all kinds of seasonings, olive oil, vinegar etc.. that one doesn’t usually find in other Airbnb places. That extra touch from the hosts was most welcomed and appreciated. Since we have family in Franklin we will be visiting again and will definitely consider staying at Troy’s place if it’s available.

Dana was such a great host, so friendly ,helpful and responsive. I loved every minute at valentinos resort. Just as described so peaceful and quiet. loved relaxing and just looking at nature and the beautiful scenery. This was my first air bnb rental and I was nervous but dana was so helpful and friendly she put me right at ease and made our stay wonderful. clean and well furnished just as described, loved the country memorabilia and overall feel. if i ever find myself in nashville again I will definitely book again. Had a wonderful peaceful weekend. It was a bit rainy so the gas fireplace was very much welcomed. Nice location to Arrington Vineyards and great little restaurants in Eagleville. It was everything thing we needed. Had an issue with our car on Saturday and Gail was very helpful getting us information! Sanford House will be our go to when we are in the area!

The accommodation was perfectly located, just a short distance from the city, which made everything super convenient. The place itself was perfect – we immediately felt at home as soon as we arrived. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations on places to visit, and we followed their advice – everything we saw was absolutely beautiful. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Cory was so attentive and responsive straight from the beginning. The house was so inviting and welcoming. The property was peaceful and quiet but yet still so close to the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville! Everything was great and will definitely be back in the future!

Absolutely the best stay we’ve had with an Airbnb. Phyllis is an absolute gem and gracious host. We’ve told all our family and friends if they are needing to stay near Nashville this is the place!!!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay. The living room and kitchen space were perfect for slow mornings with coffee and cooking big group dinners at night. (There is a grocery store minutes away that came in clutch.) The back porch is a dream. The view is unreal and the natural surroundings are so peaceful. The beds were all comfortable and we left feeling so rested!

Just great. Wish I had stayed a bit longer.

If I could give this Airbnb 10 stars I would. My friends and I stayed overnight for a birthday trip even though we are local to Tennessee. The hosts made it special for my birthday and we met all the animals. It was the most wonderful experience. We loved it. ♥️♥️♥️

We had such a wonderful stay! The environment was incredibly peaceful, just what we needed to relax and recharge. One of the highlights for us was how friendly and therapeutic the dogs were! They were so sweet and welcoming, and it really added a special touch to the experience. You can tell this place is cared for with love. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet, cozy getaway with some furry friends to brighten your day!

A wonderful place to stay, you have lots of space, nice ranch style decor, a nice big comfy bed to sleep, and a fully stocked kitchen! Really enjoyed seeing the horses and barn cats in the morning, highly recommend :)

We love staying at Kellie's! It's a very relaxing time while we're there, which is exactly what we all needed. We enjoy watching all of the animals wander about. The location is perfect for what we wanted. Remote enough to get away from the hurried pace yet close enough to get to everything else on our agenda. This was our second stay and we have yet had a chance to take some time to go fishing though :( Maybe the next time :) I must add that the bed in the Master made me want to stay in it longer than my internal clock and body would let me. Very comfortable for me and very much appreciated. Looking forward to returning, maybe next year sometime.

Deb's home was so special! It was so beautiful on the inside and so peaceful on the outside. I really enjoyed the swing on the porch! She was super helpful and so kind. If I'm ever back in this part of Tennessee, I would definitely stay there again. It was the perfect spot!

The Farm was the perfect "home away from home" for our family. Never have I felt more "at home" when traveling than I did staying here. The decor and cleanliness are immediately relaxing. We found ourselves wishing we could just pick this house up and move it back to Virginia with us :) My only "complaints" (which really aren't complaint as much as observations) were that we are a family of 5 and for the first time shared ONE single bathroom. That was a little difficult at times BUT we made it work. Also, the beds were comfy but a little squeaky . . . Speaking of the bathroom . . . the window in the shower lit up the bathroom beautifully during the day providing ample light for all our needs. I would highly recommend this house and host!

I would highly recommend this stay to any of my friends and family. It was such a homey feeling. This place brought me back to growing up on the farm minus the live stock. We look forward to visiting again.

Great spot on the Harpeth River! Really comfortable king sized bed and spotless linens and towels (which isn’t always the case at some air bnbs!) Very accommodating, kind hosts. The kitchen had tons of spices and plenty of cooking ware, etc. My husband and son put our kayak into the river right off the property without a problem and caught several large mouth bass. I enjoyed walking and jogging along the small road that runs parallel to the river. Super private location and plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 small kids. Easy 45 minute drive into Nashville as well. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a river cabin central/west Tennessee for a weekend stay!

There is something magical about this house. I don’t know if it’s the history or the bones or both but it creates a vibe of simpler times, where life was slower less stressful. I had the most peaceful week and will stay again! Jeff & his wife have created the perfect getaway! Highly recommend!

We travel often and this was one of the very nicest homes and experiences we have ever had. The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed the large and open living space and also the serenity of the back porch with lots of rocking chairs and the fire pit on the front patio. Megan was an absolute delight with which to work and always responsive, positive and helpful. I could not recommend this lovely and comfortable home any more.
