Farmstay vacation rentals in Greene County

Julie's home is a great base for Catskills winter skiing. We were 4 adults/3 kids under 10 and there was plenty of space and sleeping options. Julie was SUPER responsive and took time to make sure our short stay was a pleasant experience. The home is well laid out with a large living room, plenty of comfortable seating and tons of games and books. Home was easy to find, we received 7 inches of snow the night we stayed and the roads were plowed early the next morning.

The view was absolutely stunning and the environment was so peacefully quiet. The home is beautifully constructed and decorated with all the necessities and amenities. There’s plenty of space for the pups to run around safely, and the hot tub was amazing, especially with that view! William & Liz were excellent communicators and made the whole process incredibly simple. We’ll definitely be back!

If you are looking for a place to connect, and actually get to disconnect from all of the things that distract us in our daily lives, this is the place to be. They offered for us to pick fresh vegetables from the garden and fresh eggs from the chicken coop. The sauna and cold plunge were incredible, and the bathhouse felt quite luxurious. We had wonderful conversations with kind people while making meals at the outdoor kitchen, and the view of the stars was amazing. I’d come back the next chance I get.

This is our fifth year coming to the farm. Larissa is absolutely masterful with kids of all ages (even tough kids). My daughter races out at 9 am to do farm chores and begs for more (and this is a kid who drags her feet doing chores at home)!! We love the rhythm of farm and find it really easy to disconnect and unwind. After chores in the morning, you're welcome to spend as much time as you want with the animals, which is a real treat. Whether it's feeding the horses hay, sharing food scraps with the goats, or watching the chickens do their evening routine, there's so much to enjoy. The local towns are lovely, but if you like the farm experience, you may never leave the property. Larissa is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in sharing her experience and expertise. She has created an absolutely magical environment, and I would highly recommend visiting!!

Arin & Brian’s place was nothing short of amazing ! From the minute we walked in , it felt like home . Our 21 month old daughter especially took a liking to the home . I was so shocked and happy to see how baby/toddler friendly their home is . From child locks to stair gates , you name it , they had it all! It was also very peaceful surroundings and private, which I always appreciate in an air b n b. Arin and Brian were great hosts too , checking in when needed. I would love to come again !

Our stay at Eva's place was exactly as expected. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the house was conveniently located for skiing & visits to Windham town.

This is place is a magical experience. It's perfect for those who want to experience the more remote nature this region offers. Pure and quiet night, picturesque surroundings, amazing sunrise/sunset. The Barn itself is designed creatively and mixes greatly between camping and comfort. Stephen is very helpful and communicative.

Ray’s home offered the perfect weekend getaway for our family. The house is on a beautiful property with a lovely back yard, small bridge and my kids loved the fire pit! Ray was responsive & very friendly! We look forward to coming back again next time!

Very responsive to messages before arriving and he sent specific check-in details, and met us upon arrival to show us the space. The photos were accurate and we enjoyed our stay. It’s close to Catskill shopping and mountain exploring, and the home is very spacious and relaxing. I accidentally forgot my coat and he called immediately and made arrangements for me to come back to the house and pick it up. I was very appreciative. Thank you!

This is a beautiful, clean, historic house with a peaceful hot tub and a huge kitchen. It was perfect for our writing retreat. We loved how cozy the kitchen table and living room were. It was fun to cook in and explore the area!

Our family (with 3 kids and our dog) spent five days here during spring, and we had a wonderful time. The house is lovely with very homey feeling. It has charming eclectic décor, lovely outdoor space and of course the beautiful porch. It had everything we needed during our stay. We wanted to “get away” and have a peaceful few days, and this place was just the spot for relaxing in a beautiful environment. We spent our time exploring the Catskills region, hiking and just hanging out. I would warmly recommend it. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, always quick to answer. We would love to visit again some day :-)

We had a lovely stay at Natasha’s place! The house is cosy and very well equipped - there is everything you need. There are nice walks and hikes in the area and some nice towns close by. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Host: Scott was lovey since our first correspondence. He provided me with detailed instructions on how to enter the house and later provided many restaurant recommendations in the area. He was responsive to any questions and went above and beyond. He was so nice we were hoping to meet him, but unfortunately, never had the opportunity. The home: First of all, it’s literally new. Everything. It’s impeccably clean and supplied with high end equipment. Furthermore, he forgot NOTHING, as the house is furnished with any and all things you could possibly need. The bed was super comfy and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows, as well as plenty of plush towels! Also, beautifully decorated. Just my style- I did not want to leave. The property: The house has a large fenced in yard, a gorgeous and enormous flowering tree, a fire pit with multiple chairs and a brand new grill! The comfortable screened in porch was great for coffee and wine/beer in the rain! This house is a true FIVE.

La Casita was exactly as described...we travel to the Hudson area often as we have a child in school nearby and this was our favorite place to stay thus far. We felt quite at home as the decor is quite similar to what we typically do and love. I even found periodicals that I have subscriptions to! The beds were very comfortable, the common areas were well equipped and very comfortable and we loved stargazing at night since the property is a bit off the beaten track. We will definitely be staying at La Casita again.

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Phoebe’s house and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Our group included four adults and a three-year-old, and the home had plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Our daughter was especially lucky to be able to enjoy Phoebe’s daughter’s bedroom and toys, which made her stay extra special. The house was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Located about 10 minutes from Hudson, it offered a peaceful countryside setting that we really appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at Phoebe’s place and are very grateful to her and her family for hosting us.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at this beautiful lake house over Memorial Day weekend. Our family was celebrating a big birthday. The layout made it comfortable for our large group which included an elderly couple, a young family with a toddler, and another with two kids. The house was exactly as described — we arrived to a clean house which is clearly well cared for. You feel at home right away. No awkward spaces or furniture which is so common in airbnbs. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the entertainment center, the multiple family areas, and patios. The direct access to the lake and the stunning views were truly the highlight. The surrounding community was peaceful and private, with friendly neighbors who made us feel welcome. A big thank you to Vincent, the host, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming from start to finish. His hospitality made a great stay even better. Vincent made sure we had all the things needed for the toddler and the family dog.

Pros: House was spacious, clean and plenty of outdoor area. Hosts are super responsive (even very late at night!!). Somewhat secluded and star gazing was fantastic!! Cons: The view was a bit underwhelming (I would assume in the winter it’s better given less tree coverage).

Highly recommend, beautiful cabin with great amenities! We enjoyed our stay here and would come back!

We had a lovely time at Healing Waters Farm. Great location close to Belleayre Mountain. The place itself has everything you need, well stocked kitchen, and lovely clean bathrooms. The property has a calming stream, large swimming hot tub and sauna which we our family enjoyed. Recommend highly for a peaceful getaway.

Incredible stay. The house is immaculate - beautifully decorated, furnished, and spacious (house had tons of holiday decorations, very cozy!!). This was one of the best stocked rentals I've stayed at - kitchen and bathrooms have everything you could possibly need. Accommodated 2 families very comfortably; beds were comfortable. Loved that the great room was separated from the rest of the bedrooms allowing the family to gather without disturbing napping babies. Lots of yard space, situated next to a picturesque creek. And excellent central location to Hudson, Catskill, and skiing. Host goes above and beyond - offered early check in, extremely responsive. Highly recommend!!

Stayed a night at Kathleen’s lovely apartment in Hudson with my husband and 2 kids while we were in town for our niece’s graduation from Bard. After a cold and wet ceremony, her apartment was an absolutely wonderful rest for us. The view of the river below is ideal and she made our stay especially lovely with drinks that the kids adored, chocolates, yummy coffee, and wonderful smelling shower amenities. We left feeling rested and happy. Thank you Kathleen!

James was an ideal host very responsive and went above and beyond for us. We stayed over Mother’s Day weekend and James left flowers and a card on the kitchen island. It was the perfect start to a nice relaxing weekend. As others have mentioned, we also received a carton of fresh farm eggs which was so nice to whip up each morning. James’ place is a beautiful farmhouse that’s close to Hudson, Catskills, and Tivoli (15min drive to each). Perfect location to check out the towns

Nine of us - four adults, four kids, and a little pup - had a fantastic time at the Flatrock House. We never wanted to leave! Even though it's not deep in the woods, the sound of creek and the coziness of the house made it feel like we were 50 miles from civilization. We spent most of our time on the property - lounging around the house, talking (mostly about the amazing antiques), wading in the creek, skipping stones, making s'mores... We drove to Kaaterskill Falls which was a great hiking adventure. We went to Kingston for an afternoon walk and a surprisingly delicious dinner. Phoenicia Diner was also way tastier than I'd imagined. Ben was a super gracious host. Funny, friendly, and very quick to respond. He gave us lots of detailed suggestions, and guidance on how to best enjoy the house. The beds were so comfy. The big dining room table was perfect for us to enjoy big camp meals - spaghetti night and taco night! We definitely want to return.
