Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. Arch Cape and the ManDog Manor were so lovely! The location cannot be beat. The unit is as shown in the pictures - cozy, clean and well equipped for a long weekend. Our dogs enjoyed the proximity to the beach (less than 3 minute walk!) Kimberly and Richard provided doggy essentials for those who bring your pups - treats, a toy, extra bags plus dog towels and sheets. Relaxing in the hot tub with a view of the water was a great way to start or end the day.

Our favorite things: OMG the best are sooo comfortable. Kids: Nintendo Switch, bikes, kites, balls The fire pit with wood (!!!!) and s’mores package was wonderful and the extra amenities like wine, toothbrushes and kites were a thoughtful for everyone. We biked to restaurants along the river and then biked back along the ocean. Peaceful and tranquil. The weather was perfect but if the weather hadn’t been- there were plenty of activities inside the house and the surrounding area. We appreciated the strong WiFi.

Great location, walking distance to anything you need. The house is warm and inviting, perfect to unwind. House is very close to the water with easy walk down.

The views were beautiful. The home was very clean. Hot tub, fire pit & host-provided beach toys/chairs were great. The deck was nice for enjoying the views. Tunnel beach was charming & a short drive but I would not describe it as walking distance for my kids (4&8) and would be difficult to haul all the things down that you need for time spent on the beach. The kitchen felt very small - I stayed w/my parents & my 2 kids. We love to cook but this was not a kitchen you could have more than 1 person in at a time. There is NO cell service - you must use wifi to use your phone for calling/texting. It took me about a day and a half to get this resolved w/my provider once I got there which was not the host’s fault of course, and they did let us know ahead of time that there would be no service, just was an annoyance for me. The only other thing was the temperature in the home. It would get up to 80 degrees during the afternoons even w/the shades all closed & took all night to cool off

Travis's place was exactly as advertised. A few people mentioned street noise, but at night I didn't find this to be an issue at all. The hot tub was lovely!

It was great waking up to ocean views every morning. The house was clean, water pressure in showers was good, great location with walkable shops and restaurants near by. This was perfect for our girls weekend. You do have to walk down rocks to get to the beach access from the house which may be tough on someone with hindered mobility. We were fine with it, but something to keep in mind.

Kelly was a great host. We needed very little of the place is set up very well and is well stocked with all the basics. It is very sunny and light with a very comfy deck. I would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful location (we walked to the beach often!) and great family condo! The indoor pool captured my kids and made the winter vacation feel like summertime! The extra touches made us feel pampered and the layout brought us together for wonderful conversation. Everything you would want in a family trip to the beach! Thank you!!

Great location! Easy access to the hustle and bustle of downtown but allows you to come back to quiet. Nice community grounds and beautiful views. Bed was a little stiff was our only dislike! Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Super happy about my stay and the condition of the place. Amazing ocean views and tons to do. If you like golfing (Like I do…), 2 courses minutes from your location! ⛳️

Our stay was incredible. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the ocean. The beds were comfy and the place was immaculate. We never had any problems with communication and we will recommend this place to any of our friends.

Great old school coastal retreat. A little expensive for an Airbnb in my opinion but that seems to be the trend at the Oregon coast these days (with the all fees etc we paid ~1000 for a two night weekend stay). We tend to pay only a little more than this for an entire week at the beach in Waikiki or island stays on the east coast for comparison but at least we didn’t have to buy plane tickets ;)

We had a great stay at Kathleen & Dan’s! The house was very clean & had good space for us. They have a good selection of movies & games. We were in a good, private location to be able to access different things in Rockaway & to get on the road for other coastal towns. There’s a yummy coffee drive thru right nearby too. 😊

We’ve stayed at many AirBnB’s along the Oregon coast and this was by far one of our favorite stays. The guys loved having access to the kayaks and having the option to fish on the private lake or 5 minutes away on the beach. The little girls loved all the toys that were available on the loft and enjoyed the slide attached to the bunk beds. The beach was a 5 minute walk across the street. The Barview jetty was a 5 minute drive and perfect for the kids to play in the tide pools. The space was absolutely perfect for what we needed. I would highly recommend this space and do see ourselves coming back.

Cute little place! Lots of space for the 4 of us. Super easy to get down to the beach / water and just a quick bike ride to town. Could of walked if we wanted but my youngest (5yo) gets tired.

What a great stay. The only things i was bummed about is not being able to smoke on the property. I completely understand not smoking in houses but not being able to smoke even a vape on the property is a little extreme. But besides that great location clean and very nice host.

This place is amazing! It was just two of us on this trip so we had more room than we needed but felt like it was the perfect place for our visit to the Astoria area. We are already thinking about who to bring with us next time and will definitely stay here again if it is available. Nate was very responsive and checked in regularly to see if there was anything we needed. We will recommend this to friends and family traveling to the area and will be back again in the future. If it was possible, I’d give this 6 Stars!

…. The Swan This is such a wonderful vacation home. It accommodated the 5 of us and even though we left our pups at home the host has many dog friendly comforts for furry friends. The home is very clean, roomy, has every amenity, kitchen and otherwise, needed. Large yard with beautiful trail to the beach. Beach is gorgeous and private. We walked to it several times and we were the only ones there. I was even lucky enough to find a perfect sand dollar. The host is very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this home if you want a top notch air bb experience. Thank you so much!

We had a great time at Vanessa’s house. The location is very walkable- only a block to the beach, a few minutes to Sea Level Bakery, and a few minutes more to the Fresh Foods grocery store. You have an unobstructed view of the ocean from the living room and front porch. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace. Would definitely book again.
