Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gearhart

It is a wonderful place. So comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need to cook and hangout for a long weekend. We started with a group of old friends and enjoyed our time hanging out on the deck and cooking together. We drove to the beach only 20 minutes away. After they left we had a lovely time just relaxing in the hot tub, sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. Though I must say even if it had been raining the outside porch is well covered and you could still enjoy being out there. Everyone was very pleased with the beds, super comfortable. There were plenty of linens and even outdoor towels, as well as seperate towels for the pets. (Though we did not have any with us) If I had any comment if would be, we were slightly disappointed that their was no leaf for the dining room table with eight of us and one in a wheelchair it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work! Again, not an issue, just a suggestion! All in all one of my favorite stays.

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. Lovely home and amazing host! There was tons to do just at the airbnb alone. Tons of board games, books, activities, and tons more. The beach access was amazing as well. Toby provided clear and detailed information, and provided a great list of things to do around town. Overall our stay was amazing and I would absolutely recommend planning a trip here:)

We had the most incredible spring break and Easter getaway at this beautiful beach home! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed the space was. The home was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun family vacation. Our family especially loved the layout, which made it easy to spend quality time together whether we were cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, playing games in the living room, or enjoying quiet mornings with coffee on the patio. The beach was just a short walk away, perfect for daily outings, sandcastle building, and soaking up the sun. We also appreciated the little touches that made our weekend extra special; there was even plenty of space for an egg hunt and both the home as well as the fully fenced yard was great for our fur babies (dogs). We felt right at home! We look forward to booking another stay in the future!

Such a great beach cabin! Comfy beds, comfy couch, great location close to beach and town. We had a great time enjoying the sunshine in the backyard.

We loved staying here and would highly recommend it. The view was stunning and we loved watching the birds, including bald eagles and herons, from the front patio. Everything was very clean and comfortable and just as described. This is a perfect home base for exploring the Tillamook area and driving up and down the coast. We appreciated the access to the hot tub and the local recommendations as well. Wonderful experience!

Such a perfect and peaceful retreat on the Oregon coast! Northon was incredibly proactive, sending us a ton of local recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and things to do. We loved our time here!

A second time here and I’ve already booked my third for later this year, this location is perfect and Dee is a fantastic host. I really appreciate their communication and commitment to making sure their guests are comfortable, safe and pleased with their stay. I will continue to visit as long as Dee will have me!

We had a great stay at the Sea Gypsy! The house is very comfortable and we would stay there again. The location is very close to the beach and Cape Kiwanda, we enjoyed exploring Bob Straub State Park, which was less than 5 minutes driving and definitely walkable from the house. The master bedroom was spacious with it's own bathroom and had such wonderfully soft sheets! The kitchen was well-equipped with good-quality pots and pans. Families with kids might want to bring their own plastic plates/ bowls/ cups for kids. Otherwise it was family-friendly and the kids enjoying the games available. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great stay at Kathleen & Dan’s! The house was very clean & had good space for us. They have a good selection of movies & games. We were in a good, private location to be able to access different things in Rockaway & to get on the road for other coastal towns. There’s a yummy coffee drive thru right nearby too. 😊

We absolutely loved the house. It was very relaxing, close to the beach and the perfect amount of space for 3 generations! We will be back again. Can't say too much about this house...over the top.

This was an amazing river house. Clean and welcoming, even fresh flowers and a thank you note! The owners go above and beyond to make the stay easy and comfortable. Beautiful view, large yard with room to play. Perfect for families. Had lots of yard/beach toys to use. Home was cozy, comfy and quiet! Kids loved the piano and our pup thoroughly enjoyed the large space outside to hang out. Location was perfect if you want to visit Long Beach , Astoria and Seaside. We will be planning another trip to this home! Highly recommend!

Exactly as described! Very comfy. Close to everything. The view from the deck and the sounds of the ocean were perfect.

Kevin’s place is spacious and well stocked. We had everything we needed for our stay. The beach is just a short walk from the house.

This was the most well-equipped and comfortable place I have stayed. The attention to detail with furnishings, artwork, and necessities was above par. The view and location were perfect for a getaway, and the instructions and labels on things made everything easy. I hope to come back in the future!

It was a little pricey, but it was nice to have beds for everybody, even if kids had to share rooms. The lack of television was actually nice. Kitchen is a bit cramped and the outlets are not grounded (except like 2) so that made plugging in our stuff challenging and the main floor bathroom is ... odd is the only way to describe it. That all being said I would gladly stay here again.

Overall a great location for family vacation. Blocks to the beach, nice little deck with distant view of the ocean. Smell and Sounds of the ocean all day long. Next to groceries. Clean, updated place. We had a great visit!

The condominium was fun and nicely decorated. We loved the access to the beach and ocean. There were lots of amenities at the site. We utilized the pool and hot tub as well as the washer and dryer in our place. Thank you for sharing your place, we enjoyed our stay. We really liked walking down to the cute aquarium and we also took a spin on the double surrey bikes which was a great work out. I highly recommend this place.

Great amazing location! Right in the middle of all the fun. Place was gorgeous, clean, well stocked. Free was quick to respond to all my questions.

This is a beautiful beachfront condo with a nice view of the water and beach. It is extremely clean, very comfortable and nicely equipped with kitchen necessities. The access to the resort pool and game room is nice for families.We would certainly recommend it!

Chris was a fantastic host, available when we needed, but not in our day to day. The space was clean, warm and inviting.

WorldMark resort is in the midst of things in Seaside. Walk to restaurants and beach. Apartment itself is nice and spacious and resort has a decent pool, games room and gym. Highly recommended for a young family.

Great spot, super clean,wonderful value for your stay! I highly recommend this location. Chris was very accommodating to our dates and easy to talk to.
