Camille’s retreat is a true oasis, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the day. Even when relaxing inside, you feel as if you are in the middle of the garden thanks to the large and plentiful windows surrounding you. The only sounds we heard were the birds, who were also enjoying garden. Camille is welcoming and kind and has truly created a serene and lovely space fo repose. Hosts were very responsive, and said hi to us upon arrival. Bed was comfortable. Plus is a full sized fridge. Didn’t use stove but it seemed very nice and new. All amenities were provided, but nothing rather special. Fan is incredibly loud in bathroom, and steps to cottage are a bit uneven, so be careful. Not recommended for someone with limited mobility. Had a mishap at the gate with the code, but Jenn was very responsive and got us in right away. Overall great location and nice place to stay.

Laura and Darren were wonderful hosts! They are very friendly and pleasant people, and communication with them was super easy. This place is fantastic — it truly feels like the perfect spot for a vacation. Everything was spotless, and we didn’t miss a thing. The location is very peaceful, and you can enjoy the beautiful nature and the absolutely breathtaking view. It feels like you’re living there yourself, with total privacy. The pool, sauna, and hot tub are priceless luxuries and make this Airbnb truly one of a kind. We’d love to come back! Thank you, Rocco & Julia

we absolutely loved Chantelise's cottage. It was our first flight with our 7 month old and the space was perfect. Our son lived the micro farm. Such a beautiful space. We will be visiting again!

What a wonderful spot to stay! We had an amazing time- the garden is beautiful and the space is lovely.

When we walked in, the tea house looked exactly like the pics! The soaking tub was amazing and felt great to relax in and the bed was ultra comfortable and I so want to get whatever mattress that is. This is also really close to The Greek if you’re looking for a place to stay after a concert/show. It was about a 1.5 mile walk or really quick uber ride if you don’t like walking.

Yvette and Mike's cottage is great. Clean and nicely decorated, set in a lovely garden. A wonderful bakery and many coffee places and restaurants within walking distance. Yvette and Mike are wonderful hosts, making sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely stay again next time I am in the East Bay.

This was my first Airbnb experience, and it was wonderful. Andrea is a great host, with a quiet, very comfortable studio.

Jill’s home was wonderful. It was peaceful and quiet. Very easy to walk to surrounding restaurants and local bar. Absolutely enjoyed my stay during my work trip. Recommended if anyone plans on staying in Mill Valley.

Abbiamo soggiornato da Linda per tre notti ed è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. La casa era pulitissima, curata in ogni dettaglio e dotata di tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. All’arrivo abbiamo trovato anche degli snack, un gesto molto apprezzato che dimostra l’attenzione di Linda verso i suoi ospiti. Linda si è dimostrata estremamente disponibile e sempre pronta a fornirci utili consigli su cosa visitare e dove mangiare. La zona è tranquilla e sicura, perfetta per un soggiorno all’insegna del relax. Consiglio assolutamente di soggiornare da Linda e spero di poter tornare presto!

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

David’s place is amazing. It’s clear he cares a lot about the space, the garden and everything in-between. The apartment is a 15 min walk from everything you could need. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in SF. David and his dog Buster are both very friendly and kind hosts.

To say that this place was great is an understatement. It was extraordinary. The place was adorable. The decorating was done by someone with a real eye for balance and beauty (Martin.) There was every amenity that you could possibly need- plus surprise extras (like a noise machine for sleeping, lotions galore etc.) Martin was also very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

Grateful for this location. It was really close to the bridge and led to an easy commute. Quiet, beautiful space!

This was my second time staying here, and definitely not my last. Caroline is an amazing host. She goes out of her way for her guests to make them feel welcome and at home.

Sarah’s place is a quiet little sanctuary sitting amongst the trees with hiking trails literally right out the door. Beware of the poison oak! The place is small but is well appointed and works well for 2 people if you don’t have a lot of stuff. The parking is on a fairly steep hill so it’s good to be prepared for that. Also, getting in and out of the shower, part of the Japanese soaking tub, is challenging if you’re small or not flexible. We loved our 4 night stay and would love to stay again if we have a reason to be back in Mill Valley! Sarah is a great host!

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night and it was absolutely perfect! The view is unreal and the chickens on the back side of the house are adorable and really quiet. Thank you Carissa!

Loved my stay! It was the perfect home base while exploring the Bay Area. Felt super safe—especially as a woman traveling alone—to be behind the main house, a locked gate, and with my own personalized entrance code. The space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

We've stayed at this location multiple times. It has everything we need i.e comfortable bed, well supplied kitchen (Hope includes coffee, creamer and sugar), bathroom with plenty of towels, hair dryer. shampoo, condiioner and body wash included, laundry facilites, iron and ironing board. All great. The landscaping is so pretty and there is a private patio with comfy furniture for enjoying the CA sunshine. Highly recommend.

My husband spent two nights at Nanci’s cottage (I was unable to go with him). He shared with me the place was spotless, private, quiet, well-appointed, in a great area with lots of walkable restaurants and coffee shops, very comfortable for sleep, and had a beautiful garden with wildflowers near the cottage entrance. It was a perfect spot for him. Highly recommended for a solo traveler or for a cozy couple. Would definitely consider again next time we’re in Oakland.

What a great spot!! Totally private and safe, but right by the best park in Oakland. Special bonus that there was kids books!
