Enjoy your stay in this retro ranch retreat! The park is peaceful, the neighbors are friendly and the home is close to the lake. You’ll be 10 minutes from town and 5 minutes to the boat ramp! Plenty of space to park and fishermen have an enclosed boat garage. There’s patio furniture in the front and in the backyard. The Master suite has a king, second guest room has a king, third guest room has a queen and bonus room right off the back patio has 2 twins. Two full bathrooms. Laundry room.

Enjoyed our stay. David was responsive and able to accommodate shifts in our schedule. Traveling from Austin, this area has beautiful, underrated landscapes and amazing history. Felt safe and welcomed. The cabin itself although had bugs especially in the top loft, as expected in a rural area, had a rustic and eclectic atmosphere—perfect for the artist or retreat we were hoping for.

We booked this trip on a whim and I was happy to find a place that allowed us a one night stay, always a plus since most of our trips to Del Rio are 1 night stays to visit family. Check in was easy and the place was comfortable and clean. We had one slight concern with the low battery in the smoke detector and she responded and took care of the issue at nearly 11pm! I was so grateful for that because I was worried we would have to sleep with that smoke detector beep all night long. She was prompt in her response and prompt and efficient in her efforts to resolve the issue. A low battery is nothing we can expect and to have the trust that she will be responsive and proactive if any issues arrive in the future is what will keep me coming back. Confidence in a host's hospitality is something that is priceless. Definitely will stay here again.

We loved staying at Carries Lake Amistad home. Although Lake Amistad level is very low, the view from the back porch was beautiful, lots of birds and deer to watch. Lots of room for two couples and we enjoyed exploring the area. Would love to come back when the lake level rises.

Very unique house. Very clean. The decor inside and outside was just amazing and the pool was a big plus for my family. Loved the big spacious patio. The inside was very cozy and welcoming. Esteban was great to usand very responsive to any questions we had. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. I will be going back soon.
