Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Detroit

The house is tucked away at the end of lovely street, and it feels cozy and safe. When I leave, it it easy to follow the checking-out instructions, so there's no hassle at all. Alyson and James have always been easy to communicate with! I will Definitely return!!!

Samuel is a warm and communicative host. The accommodations were as described, and even nicer than expected. The extra touches like bottled water, a few snacks and coffee pods were appreciated. We had space to relax and enjoy meals together, and the three bedrooms were perfect for the three of us. This location was a good home base as we toured Detroit. We will definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to Detroit. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

We stayed at Gheorghe’s home during our son’s UM graduation week. We were only there for sleeping and coffee/breakfast in the mornings, but it was great for our needs. The drive from Ann Arbor was short and easy and worth it for the better price than rentals closer to UM.

We stayed here for a week with our baby. Love how family-friendly the hosts and space were. It’s peaceful, quiet, and cozy! The washer/dryer was especially helpful and worked really well. The location is great, we walked to the little downtown area every single day. The internet is on the slow side, so you might have a hard time if you’re working remotely and/or have video calls. Overall, we had an awesome stay and would definitely recommend this place.

House is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space, adequate parking and had all the amenities we needed! Host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and will book again for future stays!

Excellent location and perfect for our family’s short stay in Ann Arbor as it is so close to everything. Very clean and comfortable. Host communicated very well and definitely would recommend.

The location is amazing, close to the DIA and there are great restaurants not even a block away. Check out the Barcade. The flat is very spacious and has a lot of character.

Kathy was a very accommodating host and the place was clean, peaceful and the garden was beautiful. Kitchen was very well stocked and there were a lot of windows for natural light. Parking was also very convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. Would love to stay again!

Morgan and their co-host were great. They were responsive, had great suggestions for around the area. The place matched the pictures perfectly and it was easy to check in and check out. A great place to stay and one worth staying at again.

Such a charming space in a beautiful house! I love the character of older homes and this one is great. Radiant heat kept the place plenty warm. Host was a great communicator. Bed was VERY comfortable. I’d definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay. Apartment was clean and nicely furnished and well supplied. The location was great -- had a view of the Detroit River and easy to get to the mix of downtown and the riverfront. We really appreciated having a dedicated parking space! The host was very responsive to all our questions and flexible. Would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Detroit.

The herald was such a chic condo with lots of character. The layout and interior design of the space was perfection. I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Holly.

Wonderful location, right in the middle of everything. Great restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is as described and as shown on the pictures, and is very comfortable. The bedroom is in the back so it is extremely quiet. We didn’t use the rooftop but it has great views and is a very nice addition to this apartment. Highly recommended.

Nice central location with easy street parking. A quick walk to DIA; we drove everywhere else. Space was bigger than we expected from the photos. Great kitchen!

One of our best Airbnb stays! The location is perfect, you can walk to a variety of restaurants and shops and there is a playground nearby. Everything was clean and Jason was great to work with. Would definitely stay again!

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at! Excellent location to ball park, arena, and local restaurants. The condo was extremely clean upon arrival. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Beds and all other furniture was very comfy. Most notably, Sean was an incredible host. Provided an excellent digital guidebook as soon as booking was made. Was immediately responsive to any messages sent. Best of all, provided extra amenities within the condo which exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone coming into Detroit!
