House vacation rentals in DeKalb

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family with our dogs for 4 nights. Communication with host was great. The house was very clean, well furnished (we cooked the Thanksgiving meal there), recently renovated kitchen (huge kitchen island) with high end appliances, and yes there are 6 bedrooms (some small but nice). Rooms are split between three floors so everyone had room/privacy. Backyard with pool was great, lots of space for dogs, everything is fenced in but the front which was not a problem as the house is on a dead-end street with very little traffic. This is definitely a superhost home, all your condiments, lots of nice touches and snacks/gifts. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to family in Chicago. House is locate between 41 and 94 making travel around Chicago easy.

We had an amazing time at this property! Nick was a fantastic host—super responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The property itself is beautiful with plenty of space for kids to run around and play. The kitchen was well-equipped with lots of utensils and dishes, making it so convenient to cook and eat at the house. The fire pit and grill outside were a wonderful addition to our stay! The location is perfect too! It’s near a charming Boxed & Burlap coffee shop, and just a short 5-mile drive to downtown Lake Geneva. Downtown offers parks, a public library, great shopping, and stunning views of the lake with walking trails. We can’t wait to return and stay again! Highly recommend!

Amazing stay! This place has everything you need for both short and long visits. The location is extremely safe and convenient with shops within walking distance. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire property, especially the game room and TV room which were perfect for entertainment. Moiz, the host, was very kind and quick to respond to any needs we had. Thank you for everything! We would definitely stay here again

My family and I had a great time. The home exceeded our expectations and we all had tons of things to do. We attended local Groundhog's Day festivities and just enjoyed our time together in a wonderful home away from home. We definately recommend!

We stayed here for just the weekend but even with our short stay it was a great experience. Beautiful house, feels cozy and the indoor pool is such a plus! We all had a great time here, definitely keeping this in mind for any future bookings or getaways.

I was super impressed with the quality and quantity of kitchen supplies. I have never been in an Airbnb that has so many kitchen supplies. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The house was spacious and offered my family the space we needed. Preferences: The pool was not as clear and clean as we prefer, and heat would have been a bonus. The garage was a wonderful space for us to spend time with energetic little ones, especially when it rained, but it could use a facelift. Overall, I recommend this spacious Lake Geneva, WI house for a family get-a-way. I realize Lake Geneva is an upscale community, but I thought the house was overpriced. I realized after I booked it that it was, in total, actually $822.62 per night.

Perfect location and home for our annual couples weekend. The host graciously kept the pool open past the planned close on the off chance the weather would cooperate, and it did! We enjoyed Friday evening in the pool, followed by Oktoberfest in LG. Vicky was so helpful and responsive to all of our questions, and even had a neighbor bring us firewood so we could enjoy the firepit on Saturday night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely sized and the entire house was decorated tastefully and felt like home. We also made good use of the basement game area. Couldn't ask for a better house or host! We hope to come back again!

Very clean and comfortable, nice neighborhood and not too far from our venue. Bikash was super responsive and even recommended a great place to try out Chicago deep dish pizza.

This stay provided a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Perfect space and amenities. Maria provided perfect communication and the location was safe and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom while the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The bathrooms has great amenities and are spacious as well. The kitchen was clean and had anything you could want or need to make a meal. Maria even thought of some other items like Tupperware and parchment paper. The coffee maker was serviceable. The gift basket was truly indulgent and appreciated. The big sofa was comfy and the tvs are the perfect size with any app you may want. While it was cold outside and I didn't get to enjoy the property, it was certainly still beautiful and lovely to enjoy my coffee and watch the snow in the mornings. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Thank you for letting me staying.

Nice home, rooms were pretty spacious & good for a family stay. Very peaceful!

This house was perfect for our group! There were plenty of beds for all of us, plenty of extra air mattresses to use and tons of extra linens and towels. The rooms were clean and cozy. The living space was warm and inviting and the kitchen was STOCKED with anything we could have needed! The house was clean and ready for us - even a little earlier than planned! Jeff was a fabulous host to work with. From the day we reached out to inquire about the property, he was responsive, friendly and helpful. The highlight of our weekend was spending the beautiful sunny day outside - looking at the water and relaxing with friends. There was plenty of comfortable seating outside - including a fire pit that we used to make s’mores one evening. Some of us took out the canoe and enjoyed our time on the beautiful lake. Our group lives about 50 mins away and we truly felt like we were far from home on vacation! I highly recommend this property and would definitely work with Jeff again in the future!

This place was perfect for my husband, our ten year old and my mother and I. Plenty of space and privacy for my mother on second floor, and for us on the first floor. Everything was well designed- there was plenty of flexible and very comfortable seating in the living room and bedrooms for hanging out, and also around the dinner table. So much natural light, and free of clutter, yet it felt homey and like someone cared about their space, not just furnished as a rental business. The neighborhood was great for playing pass in the cul de sac, or across st at park and playground, and lovely for walking. Kitchen appliances were primo, and we found everything we needed. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! My family came in from New Mexico for my daughter's wedding, and we drove in from Illinois. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the outdoor spaces, but the home was very comfortable. The garage provided a great "hang out" space. We set up bag boards and had a great time! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend! This was my first experience staying at an Airbnb. Thankfully Will was very easy to work with and made it a positive experience.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Very quiet with beautiful views. Being able to sit in the hot tub and take in the sunset was incredible. Any questions we had were answered quickly by this very kind host.

We had a great time staying at Kitty's place. The house was very cozy and comfortable and right near everywhere we needed to be for the holidays. Would definitely recommend/come back!

Agnieszka's place was perfect for our visit with our son as he graduated boot camp. The home had everything we needed. The minimal decorations made it very easy to clean and easy to find all our stuff when we left. The home is beautifully remodeled on the inside. Much respect to the designer. We brought extra toiletries and paper products and dishwasher tabs because we were staying so many days. There was an adequate amount for a simple weekend stay. Plenty of sleeping space for several people. Just remember there is one bathroom. By the way, there is a great Jewel-Osco grocery store close by. We also visited an exceptional museum in Volo. It was perfect for a family, especially the boys! I really enjoyed the short drive to Kenosha, WI to gather stones by Lake Michigan.

I will be recommending this place to everyone for a nice get together. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and it is a beautiful place to relax or to have as an activity weekend. Plenty of stuff to do

The house is in a neighborhood of nice homes, peaceful and walkable. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was so well organized with everything you need and the bathrooms were spotless. It’s in a perfect location to restaurants. Highly recommend and will reserve again.

This is our second year staying at this beautiful and convenient Airbnb. Only 15 minutes from the NIU Convocation Center! Close to a great pizza place that will deliver to the Airbnb. Cynthia is very responsive and very flexible. We love this space!
