Great place to stay when visiting Manteo. Walk to downtown and eat at many great Manteo restaurants. A short drive to Nags Head beaches. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were comfortable. Ed liked it so much we are coming back next month.

Our little weekend getaway was great from check in to check out. We had a late arrival Friday night and Jonathan was very accommodating and even left our room lights on for our arrival.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We’ve been coming to the Hatteras area for over 20 years and never knew about the restaurant attached to the inn. We had dinner here one evening and it was hands down the best dinner we’ve ever had on the island.

We were only there for one night but would like to visit again! The room was immaculate and the view was wonderful!

This was the cleanest Air BNB that we’ve ever stayed. Host and hostess were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and by the fire pit. We will recommend them to our friends and will definitely stay here when we return to OBX.

This place was so special! Views were so beautiful. Environment was so relaxing. the owners truly know how to treat their guests. Mrs. dawn left chocolate covered strawberries outside my door one night, breakfast was accommodated for my allergy need, and I was given a mini cooler bag to put some essential items in on the way home so I wouldn't have to purchase a plastic cooler. LOVE this place and will definitely be back!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Steve, the owner greeted and welcomed us when we arrived and was present when we checked out making sure we were taken care of quickly and asking if we had a great stay. Yes! Really nice to have a restaurant on site since so many places close down in off season. And to have a great full breakfast included was a huge plus. The room was roomier than the photos and everything was comfortable. We couldn’t get the TV to work even following the detailed instructions in the information book but decided that reading and games were just fine! We’d love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy all the amenities the inn has to offer.

My stay at the Cottington Inn was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of relaxation and calm that I truly needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, the accommodations were comfortable, and every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to help guests unwind. This stay was more than just a getaway—it was a reset that came at the perfect time. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a place to recharge and find a sense of peace. I’ll definitely be back!

Darold was very welcoming. He gave us a tour of their beautiful home and our room. Darold brought us fresh baked cookies to our room after dinner. They were delicious. The breakfast was very good. We are sorry we missed meeting Dawn this visit. We would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I spent three nights at Edgecamp over Labor Day weekend and we absolutely loved it! The apartment is clean and stylish and the kitchen is perfection! There were coffee shops and some restaurants a short walk or bike ride away, as is the beach. The location is perfect as its far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful (beaches are less crowded too), but also close enough that you can still drive into town for some groceries or more restaurant options. Honestly, we didn't need to drive into town as we ended up getting most of our groceries and food at the Waves market down the road (they have amazing deli sandwiches). We loved our stay and will absolutely be booking again in the future!

I enjoyed a beautiful stay. Edgecamp was the perfect stay while I enjoyed all the great things to do in OBX
