Apartment vacation rentals in Chesterfield County

The apartment interior is pristine — and I mean pristine. This is by far the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at out of any Airbnb or hotel. It’s objectively small, but definitely didn’t feel the least bit cramped with only the two of us staying there. It looked exactly like the photos. Hosts are communicative, friendly, and very understanding. They are also big on providing extremely detailed instructions, which, although it was a long block of text to read, sure made check-in and check-out go super smoothly. The hosts are also kind enough to give their guests control over the thermostat. The area feels private and well-covered by surveillance. Parking is shaded by trees. It’s quiet aside from the occasional car passing by, and the neighbors aren’t noisy. Overall, I highly recommend it, and it’s one of the few places I’d love to come back to.

The place was just as described and conveniently located near many stores and restaurants. However, the surrounding area felt quite sketchy — with several abandoned and vandalized buildings nearby. Being close to a police station means you’ll hear sirens frequently, both day and night. The neighbors were also quite loud at night with frequent parties, and there was a lot of smoke drifting onto the patio, which made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. That said, the unit itself was very nice, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. 5 stars for the apartment but 3 stars for the surroundings.

This is my second time staying in one of James’ air bnb’s and both times have been wonderful, you can see that he takes the time to make the space pleasant . I was in Richmond for work but still enjoyed my time due to the comfort and quiet of this Airbnb. Will definitely stay again.

I can’t rave enough about my stay for almost two months at Shaniesha’s place. It was warm and inviting and all I had to do was bring my clothes. It was well stocked and everything was so clean and pristine. She was always available for questions and was a pleasure to talk to. I will not stay anywhere else if I need to in that area. She was a 5 ⭐️ hands down.

Awesome place to stay! My coed volleyball team stayed here & it was nice to have 2 separate units for the guys and girls. Great location as well.

Alyssa's place is centrally located and very walkable. Parking was easy. There were many little amenities in the apartment like a light and plenty of hangers in the closets, bathroom shelf for your phone, a guidebook, reading and games. Super comfy bed and sofa, and great shower. Alyssa removed scent diffusers per my request which I appreciated. Great spot, will stay again!

FANtastic location and great amenities. Just as advertised. Cozy, clean, & with everything we needed. Rachel was very easy to communicate with, responsive and accommodating. Her neighbors are great, too! Highly recommend!

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

Copeland is a great host. She gives precise and valuable information regarding the apartment and the neighborhood. She is allways accesible. The aparment location is perfect; the entrance through the alley is not that good. The rooms are very good, the social area is limited. Considering the price this is a very good alternative.

Great location and easy walk to restaurants, shopping, Carytown, parks, etc. There is a wonderful back deck that we spent most of our afternoon and evenings on while our kids napped/slept. We had 3 families with kids and had ample room. We did request a pack and play and high chair that the host said would be there but it did not arrive until the next day so our 2 year old had to sleep on the floor the first night. This little hiccup still wouldn’t lower my rating.

Wonderful, unique place, had everything you could want or need. Very spacious and I loved sitting at the round table in the living room. The beds were extremely comfortable and luckily they provided white noise machines which I would recommended turning on - not from the sounds outside but the occasional noise inside. This place would have gotten 5 stars all around if it had on site parking. Parking garages were nearby and easy to use.

Exactly what I was looking for. James was always quick to answer any questions I had. Washer and Dryer seemed brand new and were top notch.

Jason was an incredible host! The house was beyond cute. We usually stay in the more traditional brick duplexes but we were not let down by this sweet gem. And the off street parking was an added bonus. We felt right home. The location was spot on for our needs. Can’t wait to stay there again the next time we visit Richmond!!!

JAMES was a very respectful person even made us dinner one night. The place was very clean. Well organized everything you need to stay there is already there. All you have to do is clean your dishes and take out the trash trash bags. Dishwasher soap is all provided for you couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the time. I was there a month and a half couldn’t ask for a better place!!!

Nicholas’s place was amazing. The place was clean and very cozy, as the photos displayed. Everything was set up to make you feel right at home with a nice living room set up with access to stream your preferred streaming service. Additional entertainment activities such as games, guitar, record player etc were available to use as well. Parking was very clutch and nice to have right by the building. Nicholas was very nice and responsive with communication. Great place to stay while in RVA! Will be back again! Thank you!

The location and all amenities were as described! Simone was extremely proactive about reaching out and checking in throughout our stay. Place was clean. Was a great, walkable neighborhood for my dog and I, and the fenced in backyard was a bonus! It is chain-link and not particularly high, so just keep that in mind depending on your dog’s needs.

Had an awesome stay here! The place was super clean, cozy, and looked just like the photos. Loved all the little touches that made it feel really welcoming. The host was super easy to communicate with and gave some great local tips too. Would definitely book for another stay.

Stayed here for a few days with our dog. Location was great, loved that there was a designated parking lot behind the building. Was a very quiet stay, didn’t hear or see anyone else in the building. Clean space and free from clutter. Would stay here again!

I found the unit very clean and all cooking, cleaning, and bedding necessities were provided. Communications were great. Any questions or concerns were addressed very quickly. The number of stairs leading to the unit should be considered. The parking is tricky, but eventually I found a monthly lot that came in very handy. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend that others stay there.

Spacious apartment in an 1800s building on the VCU campus had atmosphere, high ceilings, and was tastefully furnished with comfortable chairs, sofa, and bed. Parking in the garage space was a bit of a challenge (and we had a subcompact car) due to tight ingress and the alley being a loading zone. We definitely would stay here again.

Great location - walking distance to everything! Some nice shops and eateries close by.

This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment and it was exactly how I remembered it. I love Carytown - everything is so walkable and it is actually fairly quiet at night despite being in the heart of everything. I will be coming back again!
