A quiet, restful retreat.

This is an in-law suite with private entrance attached to our home in a quiet neighborhood. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with sofa bed, bathroom and bedroom with queen bed and sofa bed. Folding baby crib (pack n play) with sheets and blankets available. There is a foldable single bed also available. We are an hour away from D.C. and Dulles Airport and 30 minutes away from Baltimore and BWI Airport. Street parking is available.

An absolutely fantastic stay! Loved the horses and my grandson was able to help feed on morning and walk the pony. He is five years old so this was an adventure for him. Jim and Susan were wonderful, down to earth and friendly. The eight of us in our party (six adults and two little ones) were easily accommodated. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

Wonderful place, tucked back off the main street with privacy. Clean and loaded with amenities. Games, extra bedding, a pack n play, this was perfect for my family of 8 adults and 2 littles ( 1 & 3) Well stocked kitchen even had spices! Plenty of towels and the host provided shampoo and soap. Beds were comfortable, and we loved the sofa - all 10 of us fit to watch a movie! Huge outside deck - we had a pizza party outside and a fire for smore's in the lovely fire pit. We walked to downtown several times. The shops are all so different we found lots of treasures. My grandson's loved the bookstore. We also visited the firehouse creamery 3X for delicious ice cream. We had dinner a fabulous dinner one night at Becks. We got our morning coffee from the French twist. All short easy walks from the farmhouse. We spend a day at the Baltimore zoo only 35 minutes aways. This is a perfect place and location for a large family . We loved it :) highly recommended!

It was a lovely stay! Would definitely book here again for our next trip to the Baltimore area. The deer in the yard each evening were something out of a story book! And it was great to have a private driveway — much harder to find in the city center. It’s a no shoes home — remember to pack your slippers :) Emily is incredibly kind and responds quickly to questions!

This location was exactly as described. Everything was perfect from the communications to the wonderfully quiet accommodations. Tanya was so easy to work with and we had a wonderful 12 day, quiet, secluded stay. The amenities were perfect, everything worked great, and the setting was so peaceful. We had wonderful daily visits with Willow the wonder dog (who we fell in loved with), enjoyed feeding carrots to the horse, and trying to get the sheep to get over some trust issues. Very beautiful grounds and a great place to unwind. We loved this place and will be back in the future. Just far enough away from kids and grandkids for us to escape a bit. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to find a quiet corner made for nice walks, good books, seeing the MD countryside at its best, and enjoying the Canadian Geese at the pond down the street. Thanks, Tanya. We appreciate you.
