Brenda and Bart are fantastic hosts! They were proactive and responsive in their communication. I had a question and they called me immediately to clarify, which was much appreciated. Moreover, we were coming from LA in the midst of the wildfires and they were super thoughtful checking on us and how things were going in LA. The house is ideal. We loved the space and the pup loved the yard. There were lots of towels and blankets which is always nice. And the kitchen is updated and well stocked. The washer and dryer worked great too. Highly recommend!

Staying at Nancy's place was a fantastic experience for my family, a family of four including two children. The house is beautiful and Nancy was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The kitchen is very well equipped, the front and back yards are lovely to sit in. The only difficulty we encountered was that we didn't have longer to stay! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The home was perfect! It is very well supplied and very walkable to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable for 6 adults. We enjoyed playing the board games at night. Definitely would stay here again next time visiting Carlsbad.

What an incredible place! We stayed for two nights with our dog and felt right at home! Our host was SO helpful and kind. The place was immaculate, clean, beds comfortable- what more could we ask for! A great stay if you’re in San Diego!

I was willing to pay extra for the location, and boy, did that pay off! I wound up proposing to my fiancée at the top of the street, where a private, secluded cliffside bluff exists. You have to tiptoe down a pathway, but thank goodness we'd walked home from Newport Ave the night before where I located the quintessential proposal spot! Otherwise, the Airbnb worked out terrifically. The neighborhood is delightful; you're so close to all the action in downtown Ocean Beach. 15-minute walk places you right near the bars, restaurants, and shops. Traffic getting in and out of the neighborhood was a breeze. No issues getting rideshares, either. We loved the little compound the owners have set up. There's a grill for each house plus a shared hot tub that we took advantage of using. The apartment itself is a bit outdated, and the price point might be on the higher end. But you're paying for the scenery, proximity to action, and private space.

Carrie's tiny home was the perfect size for my husband, myself, and our two large dogs and was less than 10 mins away from Petco Park. The outdoor area was a peaceful oasis and we did not want to leave! Because the house is tucked away on an alley-like street, I highly recommend this house for people traveling with pets, as there was minimal noise and foot traffic surrounding the house, which gave us peace of mind when we left the dogs for short periods of time. Highly recommend the Coffee Drop for morning coffee! ~5 min walk away. One note (clearly visible in the photos) is there is no dining room table, so you may have to hunch over to eat on the coffee table or outside. There wasn't a fan in the bathroom either, so it got very steamy after one use, even with the window open. Lastly, we did not see any washcloths, so we Amazon-ed a pack. Other than that, no complaints and would absolutely stay again.

We had a lovely weekend in Ocean Beach for the holiday parade and the opening of our son and daughter-in-law's new indoor playspace and bookstore Bluebird Play (above the Noodle House at Niagara and Bacon). The house is adorable. Beds and couches were comfortable, and the property was quiet and also well supplied. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. Would definitely stay again if going to this part of San Diego.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Such a great and pleasant stay from start to finish. Felt right at home .

We had a great stay! Ann was quick to reply, the instructions were clear, and the place was great. Clean, plenty of space, and close to coffee and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

We were very grateful to be able to stay for a few days in San Diego. This home was very clean and very cool. My daughter thought it was the fanciest place we had ever stayed :) we loved the heated pool, walking around the neighborhood, and there are many great restaurants and cafes close by. We went with two small kids and while it has more of a fun bachelor pad vibe we had an incredibly fun and relaxing stay.

We had 7 adults and a 2-year old that stayed in the house and then we also had a 32 foot RV that Bruce let us park behind the garage and fence so it was in the back yard. It was the BEST set up for us!!! My husband and I travel in our RV about 9 months a year so we stayed in our RV with electric and water connection. All our kids flew to San Diego for Christmas and stayed in the house. It worked out so good! We had fires in the fire pit multiple nights and the hot tub was amazing. The back yard was so beautiful. My 2-year old granddaughter loved the sand and all the sand toys too! Can’t say enough good things about Bruce’s hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay! The host was responsive to any questions I had. The place was clean and well kept. The property itself was great- dog friendly, close by to different restaurants and beaches. We will definitely be back!

Our family of four, including two children ages 9 and 7, stayed over NYE and New Years Day. We wanted to be in SD to attend the wild animal safari park. Choosing Navid’s house was easy because we stayed here two years ago and loved it. The kids love the pool, bunk beds and TVs in each rooms. The house has everything we need but is also comfortable and close to grocery stores and restaurants. Navid is an awesome host. He’s very easy going and willing to accommodate requests if possible. We will be back for a third stay.

Rich and Adrienne's place was the perfect beach getaway. It was quiet, comfortable, and well-organized. They've used the space efficiently. The home was very clean and inviting. The kitchen was thoughtfully well stocked. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the short walk to the beach. We appreciated the beach gear including a cooler, chairs, boogie boards, and toys. The hosts provided local recommendations on arrival and were quick to respond when asked about specific things like bike rentals, providing great, local recommendations. It was an easy walk to the two main areas of OB with restaurants and shopping. We would absolutely stay here again with our party of two adults and one teenager. This is a real gem in OB.

We loved the place, very clean and looks just like the pictures, perfect location, very close to everything we wanted to visit. Nice backyard and the place was stocked with everything you can think of. I would definitely try to book this place again when visiting San Diego in the future!

This casita was as advertised! Check in was easy, location close to everything we needed, and the goodies left were perfect and appreciated. We loved the personal message on the chalkboard and all the artwork. We will definitely be back next time we come to San Diego!

The home was exactly as described. Our dogs loved the outdoor. Gregory was friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again on another occasion.

The place is so safe and cute. We felt right at home. We travel with a 4-month old infant for the first time, and Lisa’s place is perfect for our baby. Lisa even offered a Graco Pack-n-Play which was a perfect bassinet for her. The place was situated in a convenient neighborhood close to Grossmont Center shopping mall and grocery stores and restaurants. We’d stay here again when we are in the area.

The team at CVH were very accommodating to us -- we evacuated LA because of the fires and had our animals with us. They made it easy and welcoming. We will forever be grateful for their warm embrace during a very difficult event. Thank you!

We had a peaceful stay and felt right at home. The hot tub is a nice plus and was fun to watch TV or listen to music in their lovely courtyard area. The space inside was just right with nice amenities. Very friendly and quick responses from Elizabeth. Really close to walk or drive into town for what you need. Had some useful supplies/treats for doggies and a crate as an option. She made sure we didn't fall short on supplies also. Thank you for making us feel comfortable!

Kitty had to be the friendliest, most accommodating host we've ever had. She greeted us when we got there and messaged us to let us know that our dog was being a good boy. You can tell she is very thoughtful in her amenities, she has almost anything you might have forgotten to pack. The backyard was a great size, especially in SD.
