WONDERFUL. Mark and Kimberly really set the bars with the home and communication! They were quick to respond always helpful! The home was beautiful it was just what we needed! We were only 15 min from downtown Morganton but still got to experience the mountains with the location. 10/10 we will definitely be booking again!

We had a party of 6 and had an incredible time here. The house is beautiful and surrounded by nature. It was private as well and we were able to make use of all the amenities. Not too far of a drive from restaurants, groceries, or whatever you may need to make it feel like home.

It was quiet and peaceful in a very simple, nice, non-overstimulating environment. I enjoyed being able to make a fire in the back yard in the fire pit! It was worth the trip definitely interested in staying again in the future!

We were 100% happy with our stay. The location was 45 minutes away from App State (including traffic). We did not venture out other than graduation venues. We enjoyed the screened porch for cards, the fire pit was perfect for toasting a few marshmallows (grand children enjoyed). Prior to arrival, I was initially concerned that our full pans of food might not fit in refrigerator but to my surprise it was a top refrigerator with double wide shelves (freezer at the bottom). During our stay there had been a 9 hour power outage (apparently scheduled transformer maintenance) and we were happy that the loss of power did not affect running water. That was a plus because we had a 9am graduation and still managed a hot shower. There were plenty of games in closet, plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, soaps, seasonings, pots, pans, utensils- etc…. You name it, it was probably there, with the exception of a portable crib (which we brought our own). Best of all - price!!! Very affordable

Second stay. Wonderful place for larger groups/families. Winds knocked power lines down & small fire started. Brittany not only messaged me to make sure we were okay, she also sent her dad over to check on us! Can’t ask for a better host. This is home away from home.

This home and the host were both awesome! The house was very comfortable and cozy. There was enough space for my entire group, yet it was cozy enough that it felt like home. The host had snacks and waters in the home for us to make us feel at home as well. They were also very communicative throughout the trip and checked to make sure we had arrived safely. I would certainly stay here again!

I loved this place, and only wish I could have spent more time cozying up in it! Absolutely adorable. Clean, well laid out and charming. Hosts were speedy communicators, check in easy as could be, and a whole foods market within walking distance. Highly recommend, great value.

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Excellent stay! Perfect stay while in Morganton. Apartment was very clean, comfortable, communication was seamless, and the location cannot be beat. Looking forward to staying at Michael's place again as soon as the opportunity presents!

This was a great little place to stay for a short stay. I will say, the place looks bigger than it actually is. There wasn't a dryer as mentioned or hair dryer. however it wasn't a big deal. I wouldn't bring more than 2 people here. Between having a 2 suitcases and 2 people, there wasn't much space. Again, its more of a short term stay for 2 minimalist people. Overall, it was a great place and great experience. The views were beautiful, the firepit/grill was big and lots of outdoor seating. private from other houses and very peaceful.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Fred and Erin’s place this weekend for my brothers graduation. It was just as described in the photos. It was very clean , nice kitchen and bathroom, and also in a very remote and quiet area. The price was also very good for the air bnb! We will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful place right near the historic downtown. Easy walk to anywhere. It’s a lovely building with four units (two on each floor), so there is noise from the neighbors as one would expect. It actually helped us out because we heard one neighbor talking about a light left on in a car outside and realized it was ours! The host is kind and easy to communicate with.

I absolutely loved staying here in downtown Lenoir! We’ve been displaced now since September, and I will say this was the best place yet! We felt right at home, it was so cozy, and peaceful! I would 100% recommend staying here!
