Had an amazing stay! The place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway—comfortable lodging with stunning views for both sunrise and sunset. Loved watching the local wildlife roam and exploring the great hiking trails nearby. There was plenty to do, yet it was also the perfect spot to unwind. Hope to return again soon! Thanks for the great memories!

We have long been visitors to the Linville Gorge area and had a big weekend of activites planned. This house was the perfect hub spot and provided everything we needed to relax and recover in between adventures. None of us were sad about the lack of internet - unplugging was an added bonus!

Most amazing place. We did a micro wedding for our daughter there, and couldn’t have been happier! The kitchen is better stocked than my own. Stunning views, plenty of space, plenty little things to keep teens and young adults entertained! Would love to book again.

Wow where do we start, the cabin was absolutely perfect and had anything you could think of from zip lock bags to beach towels and then there is the amazing surroundings of nature including little chickadee birds and frisky squirrels hopping from tree to tree there was so much to do within a short drive like mesmerizing waterfalls and breath taking views from the grandfather mountain !! If you want the best sleep of your life the king size bed will take you to heaven for the night and of course Shannon the host was extremely helpful with suggestion on where to go and what to see so hands down the best place we have stayed

Some friends and I took a girls trip to the mountains. We loved our stay at this Spacious Skies cabin. It was beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. The Spacious Skies employees were extremely nice and very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed hikes and activities right there at the campground. I would highly recommend this place!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Roho's cabin is set in a beautiful area with the creek below. The cabin itself was so comfy and cozy. While being off the beaten path, the cabin had everything you needed and all the creature comfort details were thought of. The wood burning hot tub was a true delight. Truly such a lovely place. April was an amazing host. Great communication, very friendly and she also sent tons of recommendations for things to do in the area, although I didn't want to leave the cabin 😂 I can't wait to come back and visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Lauren was very communicative and gave us helpful details for arrival and check out. The house was spotless and well curated with all of the needed essentials. The location is convenient to Linville Gorge and easy drive to plenty of towns.

We really enjoyed our spontaneous weekend trip to the mountains. The house was stunning, literally on the side of a mountain, with gorgeous views. The driveway and road to the house was exactly as described, but manageable and beautiful. The house was well stocked with everything we should need, fresh linens, up to date appliances and most importantly coffee. The temperature, furniture, and patio of the house was very comfortable. Siobhan responded quickly to any and all messages and checked in with us throughout the stay to ensure we were happy! Would definitely stay again and suggest to my friends.

Great cabin, very close to many of the big hikes on the Eastern rim of the Linville Gorge. House was very clean, comfortable, and decorated with lots of cool art. Good books and games too. Kitchen was well equipped. Wi-Fi was good. The cleaning fee was steep, nearly $200, especially considering the very detailed check-out instructions. All in all, a really pleasant place to stay.

Amazing Cabin to stay at and amazing people who genuinely take care of the home and make sure your personal experience doesn’t feel like a vacation but a Home away from home. Loved them Thank you! Definitely will come back soon to this location!

Bill has put so much care and thought into all the details and amenities available when you stay in his very unique cabin. It was all noticed and much appreciated! This is the retreat you didn’t know you needed to get away from the “noise” (literally and figuratively) of life. We used the kitchen well (it’s equipped with everything you can possibly need—just bring your groceries, of course), and I especially loved my morning coffee on that incredible deck—after waking up to the most amazing views and sights of the local wildlife 🐻 Thanks again for letting us stay and have such an enjoyable and relaxing week. I can’t wait to be back

We found this property so well appointed with all of the necessary items we might have lacked. Because of its location and the possibility of being stranded due to in-climate weather, Jason has stocked many items of which a person might need in the event they didn’t bring enough supplies for a few days. We looked at the food items that are stored as being a backup in the event we were stranded for a few days. Fortunately, for us, we over supply ourselves because other properties we have utilized were completely less supplied. We found that all the bases were covered for food, spices, dishes, snacks, as well as things like the barbecue grill and outdoor fire pit. We were very impressed with how the house was supplied and set up for a renter. It was almost like we walked into our own home with supplies existing. We were glad to have this wonderful experience, and would consider it in the future again.

We loved our stay at Trails End cabin. Was in town for the lake james 5k, and the home was walkable to the Fonta Flora brewery via the trails that leads to the Overmountain Victory trail in the backyard.... huge bonus and why I picked this home! Very private and my dogs loved wandering in the yard where we could feel that we're safe. Will definitely be back again!

The cabin was well maintained and had everything needed to be comfortable while still being simple. It was a cool weekend and the heater was very effective in warming the cabin. The driveway was a little interesting to navigate but a note from Erin inside the door made navigating this a breeze. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The proximity to the parkway would be amazing if it were open, maybe next time!

What a great place. Cabin was easy to find on a very quiet road. It was a very peaceful and relaxing location. The creek is beautiful. Jacob was quick to respond to any questions and he was very helpful and informative. I’m looking for to staying here again.

Beautiful place in a peaceful country setting, but also very close to many things and downtown Hickory. Was very clean with cozy beds. We would definitely rent again in the future when we come back to the area. Thank you Bob & Nancy!

I did not get to stay at Aaron’s place due to travel issues but the place looked beautiful per the pictures on the booking. Looking forward to going there on my next go around with no travel issues.

I’m just speechless about this place. It was absolutely stunning. It was so interesting to learn about the history of the village and explore the old houses and mill area. We also had Donovan as our tour guide the next day and he was absolutely amazing. 10/10. We WILL be back at some point!

This is the cutest little cabin to unplug at! When two small issues arose, Kathryn was quick to try and help. I would stay here again in the spring—hot water line froze overnight which was absolutely not her fault, and she attempted to fix it with everything in her power. It’s also a smidge loud next to the major highway but only if you’re sleeping in the living room on the futon! It was so adorable and made me want to redecorate my own house. The queen bed was super comfy according to my mom and daughter as well.

This beautiful home was the perfect getaway. It was the perfect level of modern, homely, and quint. The view was amazing, the house was clean and well decorated, the drive was easy, and the list goes on. There was a bad storm on the first night of our stay that caused the internet to go out the next day, Maryia and Timothy were quick to notify the company and make us aware that there was a large outage and when it was scheduled to be back on. The instructions were crystal clear to get in and the drive up had well paved roads the whole way up the mountain. The kitchen was used each night for dinner and the pans, utensils, and appliances were clean and easy to use; great for those who want to eat-in during their stay. The blackout curtains in the bedroom were a great touch and convenient. One of the best places I have stayed for vacation. Highly recommend!!

This is our 2nd time staying here and it was just as great as the first time. We will definitely be back. The sound of the river is so relaxing. Can't wait to visit again.
