Places to stay in Buena Vista

3 couples from out of state were coming to Lynchburg to see my son his senior year star in the high school musical. They needed a place to stay. They were all so pleased to stay at Amanda’s place! The setting was peaceful and beautiful. The beds and all linens were luxurious. She even provided black cloths for makeup removal. She’s thought of everything, like extra toiletries and snacks, coffee, water in the fridge. We loved the deck and grill. The time was just too short to enjoy it all. Amanda was responsive and accommodating, thoughtful and easy to communicate with. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know:)

We stayed at Peter’s place for a night and would definitely go back! The cabin is made with love, as a lot of the furniture is handmade. The place had everything we needed, including a full kitchen, and was very peaceful despite being so close to a highway. Peter had also left some recommendations regarding hiking trails around the area. All in all, highly recommended!

We had such a great time with the animals! Tim even let my son bottle feed one of the baby goats! The location was beautiful and easy to get to, super clean, quiet, and peaceful. They have good insulation in the rooms - I didn't even hear the roosters in the morning! Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed our stay here! Cute little cottage and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable!

There's so much to say about our stay at HeartRock! You instantly feel at peace when you arrive, and can feel how much love has been poured into this space. Everything about HearRock makes you feel relaxed and ready to connect with your loved ones. We stayed here for a friend's weekend and immediately felt at home. The kitchen is perfect for sharing meaningful meals, the porch is cozy for hanging out, and the grounds are beautiful to explore. We cannot say enough positive things about HeartRock - it is truly a gem and we cannot wait to return.

We loved our stay!! I hosted my Team Retreat here and it was absolutely beautiful!! The light, the decor, the amazing bathtub -- we had a great, relaxing time!! Plenty of seating in the kitchen and living room area, and we loved having the second sitting area in the upstairs unit. It's also not far from downtown Lexington so we could enjoy a day out & plenty of restaurant options!! HIGHLY recommend!!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay here. We absolutely loved the layout of the home: a spacious great room downstairs, and three comfortably-appointed bedrooms upstairs. It was a great place to relax and enjoy time with family. The location is excellent: removed from traffic and noise, but close enough to any place you would want to get at in Lynchburg. The place was immaculately clean, and had lots of little touches that made us feel at home. The hosts were super responsive and proactive. We would absolutely stay here again!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We had two adults and two teenagers on this trip and there was plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy. We LOVED the decor. Everything was visually appealing and comfortable. There was so much to do within walking distance or a very short drive. We enjoyed great restaurants, shopping, a tour of the Grand Caverns, and the Frontier Culture Museum all during our short stay. We hope to come back again and would definitely stay here again.
