Minutes away from the Downtown Mall, UVA, Darden, and Barracks Road - this house is the perfect place to stay when you visit C'ville. Available for short or long-term stays, this lovely master suite with private bath has the amenities of a hotel with the comforts of a home.
“The Charles Suite provided an exquisite experience. There were a number of little touches and attention to detail which bolstered the experience even further. Everything was clean and tidy and Anne has given attention to lots of pillows and blankets so as to help make the space as comfortable as possible. Though the home is a little out of town, its location is also a bonus in that the scale of the property lends itself to its significant land size. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space!”
This is a beautiful bedroom and adjoining sitting room in the upstairs of my home with a private bath just across the hall. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closet, and antique dresser. The sitting room has a chaise lounge, table and two chairs, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and TV with local channels & Roku. Just about a mile from UVA and the Downtown Mall on a large lot in a lovely neighborhood - many guests say one of their favorite things about staying here is meeting my pet goats!
“The Elizabeth Suite was beautiful! Stylishly decorated, clean, and incredibly spacious (the suite has a large, spacious bedroom and a sitting/room den with a TV, coffee maker, and fridge). It was perfect for our stay for two. I would highly recommend the Elizabeth Suite if visiting Charlottesville.”
Enjoy our lovely handcrafted cottage in its wooded, peaceful setting with its new keyhole-style herb garden. Just a mile off the Keswick exit of I-64 near Charlottesville, UVA, Monticello, many wineries and historic sites, this conveniently located property includes walking trails, hilarious chickens, beautiful gardens and a new playset for children. High speed internet is an added bonus.
“What a wonderful stay! The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our little dog. We cooked and grilled most of our meals, and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and small appliances. It's incredible to think that her son designed and built the entire place himself! One of our favorite features has to be the windows. Great light, forest views, and STARS at night. We certainly took advantage of those stars and whipped up some s'mores over the fire pit a couple of nights. Perfect. Also, Patricia is a phenomenal hostess. She warmly greeted us upon arrival, leaving us with some homemade cookies, a bottle of wine, and fresh eggs from her own coupe. Patricia was always up for a conversation as she worked on her garden, while also respecting our privacy. She has truly created a beautiful atmosphere for herself and for her guests. We can't wait to return!”
