Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Black Mountain

Melissa was so kind and responsive to any questions we had about local recommendations. Although Asheville is still recovering there were so many amazing places to go and things to do! We had a wonderful time and the hot tub was the cherry on top of every day. Highly recommend!

Really lovely guest suite in a perfect location to explore Asheville and the surrounding mountains. I stayed for a month and was so pleased with the location. There's a nice little local bar and a coffee shop less than a mile away. The space was very comfy (especially the bed!) and cozy and felt like a small home away from home. Hosts were super nice people, kind and proactive. There's no TV, which was perfect for me! Good WiFi. I will definitely stay there again if/when I'm in Asheville.

Catherine's home was cozy and had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It was spacious and clean and had a large hot tub. Perfect place for a family get-together or small gathering. Thanks for having us!

Mae and her husband were excellent hosts. During our stay, we faced a few unexpected issues — nothing specific to the property, just things that could happen to anyone — but they made us feel incredibly comfortable and were always available to help us find quick and thoughtful solutions. I highly recommend this stay, and I have no doubt we’ll be back one day!

Solid place. Well maintained. Attention to detail. Had plenty of things one doesn’t always find in airbnb like cooking spray and extra toilet paper!

The scenery at the Airbnb was absolutely stunning. Surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views, it felt like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As for the comfort of the home, it was incredibly cozy. The interior had an inviting atmosphere. The beds were comfortable making it easy to relax after a day of exploring, and the amenities provided everything needed for a stay.

Cassidys cabin was the perfect size and space for our small group. Everything was nicely laid out and the property was lovely. As Cassidy warns, it does require a 4wd to get up the steep drive, but it is well worth the trip. We will definitely rent again in the future.

We stayed at the Glenna for a mini honeymoon with two pups and loved it. It's in a secluded area with a few neighbors, which is exactly what we wanted. An short and easy drive to Asheville, but we found we enjoyed visiting the Arden/Fletcher area as well for food and hikes. The drive up to the cabin is beautiful with plenty of twisty curves as you would expect in the mountains, but a very enjoyable drive. (As of May 2025 the directions may mislead you due to a road closure, you'll go through it just a bit to turn in front of a very beautiful white church with a creek in front of it.) We spent most nights outside with a fire by the creek making smores or enjoying the quiet nature. Our dogs loved sniffing about everywhere they could find, especially our nightly walks around the property. We had a power outage and Larry was nice enough to stop by and drop some lights for us and Courtney left us some beautiful Asheville mugs. A wonderful cabin and area, we would definitely visit again!

Our mission team was in the area working with Hammer and Heart. We stayed at this house based on location, number it could sleep and the neighborhood. Checkin was extremely easy, house was easy to find. While there, the A/C broke. Nothing that anyone could foresee. Amanda was responsive by immediately hopping into action by sending fans to try to cool the house until the HVAC person could get there to fix. Amanda stayed on top of the problem until she knew the A/C was fixed. Thanks for the hospitality of sharing your house so we could help people in the area.

This was our second stay we have stayed on both sides of the Airbnb and we absolutely loved them both it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed 😊

This stay showed us why we always prefer when the rental is owned by a person and not a big company, Trace was super responsive and easy to work with our entire stay. Location was fantastic and it was super easy to get to all the things in ashville we wanted to while still being in a home that was quiet and relaxing.

My family and I stayed in Daniel's home for spring break. Everything was amazing! Daniel responded quickly to all of my questions, gave local attractions/activities, allowed for an early check in, provided us with much needed transportation (golf cart) as well as made sure the kitchen was fully equipped for any meal we wanted to prepare. He also had tons of games for the kids to play inside and and lots of space on the deck for outside. The washer and dryer on BOTH levels of the home helped us for our return back home with clean clothes. Highly recommend and we would love to stay with Daniel again.

Josh was very flexible and responsive for a last minute stay. The backyard is beautiful and we felt right at home. Josh also gave lots of great recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville!

I have stayed at Studio R a number of times now, and it never disappoints. It is so comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. Great work space and wifi for when the office intrudes on your vacation. Cheryl is a wonderful host who makes you feel like you are truly a guest. I will definitely be back!

Smithson's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could hope for. fully stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, cooking and dining supplies, the whole nine yards. The yard was great for our dogs, fenced in, private and maintained. The place was full of modern amenities, including the bathroom and kitchen which can make or break a stay for me. Smithson promptly responded to every message I sent and was proactive about check in details, suggestions for hiking, and other good to knows for the stay. I'll definitely be back!

This Airbnb stay exceeded all expectations — truly the Ritz-Carlton of home rentals! The home was absolutely stunning, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. The location was perfect — tucked in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood yet just minutes away from all the local attractions. The fenced-in backyard was a dream for our pup, Maizy — she had the time of her life exploring safely! What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host’s exceptional hospitality. Attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind, they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Julius’s home is the perfect mountain getaway. The property, inside and out, is full of lush plants. It is perfect for a relaxing weekend away spent with loved ones. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen is perfect for preparing a meal. Julius was more than accommodating and very helpful during our stay. ✨

Lovely home in the Village of Cheshire! Jake is a wonderful host and the house is even better than the pictures. Beautiful neighborhood with walking trails and playground for kids. Enjoyed being able to bring our dog along and the convenience of the fenced backyard. Hope to return one day :)

Alexandra gave wonderful directions to the house. We felt right at home! Beautiful location, very clean, and more than enough space for two adults and two dogs. I read a review that there is a house very close by which isn’t represented in the photos. This is true, however, because there is a large privacy fence separating the properties. We never saw or heard the neighbor the entire week we stayed. It was a lovely vacation, thank you!

We loved staying in the tiny house!! Michele and Dana were easy to communicate with, and clearly put a lot of time and care into creating a comfortable, convenient, and unique place to stay, with everything from tons of local suggestions of things to do, great decorations, charging cables, and down to towels to wipe your muddy dog's paws. The house was peaceful and private in a small neighborhood, but still convenient to everything you might want to do in Asheville. The only disappointment was that we just booked one night... I hope I get to stay in the tiny house again on my next trip to Asheville!

This was our third time working with Calile on a stay in Asheville. We are locals, but this was a perfect place for our parents and visiting relatives to stay while they were in town for graduation. The home was so welcoming and the location was perfect. Thanks for your hospitality!
