Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Big Bear

So peaceful and cozy! We loved the stay as it was exactly the same as in pictures as in person. The home was spacious yet cozy. We enjoyed the corn hole and racquetball. There is a tennis court/ basketball court and park only 3 minutes up the way. We would play tennis and enjoy the night in the hot tub. It had plenty of space for our dog to run around. The beds were comfortable and easy to fall asleep in. Additionally, the kitchen was well equipped. Everything you could think of needed for a week in a kitchen was provided!! The best part of this air bnb is the local donkeys who stroll by throughout the day. :) They were the sweetest and friendly. Neighbors are kind and extremely tight knit. If you are looking for a QUIET relaxing stay in Big Bear this is it. We can’t wait to return as a family.

I don’t even know where to start on how amazing this home was. I highly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommend this to place to everyone for any occasion. There was not one bad thing we could say and fell in love with the backyard & inside layout. They had ample trash bags, soaps, hair ties, bathroom accessories and everything else you need. The rules and check out was so simple and easy, not stressful or tons of rules ….they kept it short and sweet. This hands down is the best house we have rented and will definitely be renting this property again. The neighborhood was fantastic and so easy to find. I can’t forget the garage is packed with bikes, fishing poles, games, all kinds of baby items and a ton more stuff! Place was extremely clean. We loved having the place being pet friendly. The rooms were organized, the big beds were comfortable. Note the twin bed has a hard memory foam mattress but overall okay. The lake is within walking distance as well as the village. The host is very responsive and very helpful. Everything in the place works great, we went to get away from the city and it was quite peaceful. Hot tub worked fine and the deck was ready to be used. Our dogs loved the place plenty of space for them to roam and explore, the inside was also quite nice for them and the host had some snacks for them very thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again!

Great little location, pretty close to town. It's within walking distance of grocery stores, but you'll need to drive to get to the village. Super easy to get access, would recommend.

Beautiful home. It was well stocked and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the location was great. The hosts were great...incredibly helpful and responsive. Would recommend and would come back again.

Overall, the stay was great with young kids. They have a fun room for the kids with bunk beds, a slide, books, and toys. It’s a good location just outside of the Village. The hot tub was missed by their cleaner but they were super quick to get someone over there our first day which we appreciated.

We had an amazing weekend stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to all the best spots, restaurants, and attractions, making it so easy to explore the area. The home itself was beautifully designed, with plenty of space and thoughtful touches throughout. My favorite part was definitely the cozy fireplace—it created such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and we spent many relaxing evenings by it. The host was incredibly kind and quick to respond to any questions or needs we had, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and peaceful weekend getaway. Will definitely be back!

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick getaway to the snow. You can’t beat the location. Literally less than a two minute walk into Snow Summit park. Ivan and April were great hosts, very helpful & very communicative. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. Especially if you are planning to ski or snowboard.

Prime location for anyone competing in the Big Bear Spartan. It was peaceful leading up to the weekend, allowing restful sleep and relaxation. I was able to register for the race early in the morning and head back to the house to prepare and stretch comfortably before the race. It was nice coming right back to the house to unwind and recover, especially with the convenience of the hot tub! Totally played a part in minimizing soreness. Centrally located to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and hiking trails. The scenery was beautiful and something I will never forget! It was a fantastic stay and I would definitely stay there again if I am in Big Bear. I can only imagine how awesome this place is during the ski season!

The unit was nice & clean. We only stayed one night but had everything we needed. Kitchen was nicely equipped with modern appliances. Location is literally in the same parking lot as snow summit. Chase was a good & communicative host! Thanks for a great stay!

La casa está muy acomodada mi familia les encantó tenía mucho espacio las camas muy cómodas , el lago a unos pasos nos encantó el Jacuzzi, hicimos carne asada la cocina muy equipada la casa está muy amplia para la próxima vez que viajemos para big Beard nos quedaremos hospedados con Elizabeth .

Amazing location close 3 min walk to the park and fishing pier , 2 min walk to the local corner store and pizza place ; and a 7 min drive into the town ! The house was so clean and way better in person than the photos , it’s a must stay we will definitely be coming back in the future !!

Natalie was an efficient communicator and made the stay very easy. Location and amenities were very nice.

I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. Kelly’s barn was readily equipped from a lowkey barbecue to a lake day aftermath. Convenient location and stunning views! I definitely recommend!

I came back for my 4th visit, just me and my dog, because it’s such a great relaxation spot, inside and out. I love the deck, kitchen, hot tub and walking the neighborhood. Sandra is very responsive and friendly, so I always know I can reach out if I have a question or want a recommendation. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend her cabin! It’s adorable!

Christina’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Cozy little place with a beautiful view. Christina was a great host and very accommodating and so sweet. We accidentally damaged her electric water heater and I wanted to reimburse her, but she insisted it was OK! Definitely will booked this place again sometime in March

We had such a great time at the cabin! Lisa thought of everything: a well appointed kitchen, robes, plenty of extra blankets and towels, TVs in every room, lots of games to play, and super cute decor. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, and the fully fenced yard for our dogs. Great location. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place! Our kids loved playing in the back yard and the beds and couches were all very comfortable. Only odd thing to be aware of is there is a single bathroom and it is only accessible by entering one of the bedrooms. So keep that in mind if you care about each guest having privacy. (We didn’t mind but still had to quietly sneak through the kids bedroom at night to shower or use the toilet.) Still a great find and fully recommend provided the bathroom situation isn’t a dealbreaker for you.

5 Stars - Absolutely Outstanding! Holly is an exceptional host! I booked her Big Bear property for a peaceful work getaway and felt utterly at home. My two dogs loved the spacious yard, and Holly was so accommodating. The thoughtful touches, like the hot cocoa station and s'mores kit, were delightful surprises that show how much she cares. Holly's communication was exceptional - warm, friendly, and always prompt. She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I felt like a valued guest, or staying at a dear friend's retreat, rather than just another rental. I will absolutely book with Holly again! Our family of four plus our pup had such a great time here! The kids made snowmen in the backyard and had enough room to sled too! They had plenty of toys and board games and everything else we needed for a fun & snowy weekend.
