Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Belknap County

This was a great house! Nicely decorated, plenty of room, and we loved the ping pong table downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked with all you will need on vacation, which we loved because we do cook sometimes instead of eating out every day. Maps of trails in the area to hike were a wonderful attribute. Arrival instructions were clear. Communication was a little slow, however we didn't have any major issues so it didn't affect us too much. Meredith is a beautifully picturesque town and we found MANY great restaurants! The people in the area were so kind and friendly. They were courteous drivers during this busy weekend as well!

Beautiful home on beautiful property. We came to see the autumn colors and the trees surrounding the home were so vibrant! Quiet, calming and relatively close to a lot of great things to do. Everything was very clean and it was nice having separate bathrooms upstairs. There was a light musty smell mostly on the main floor that people with allergies might be sensitive to. Also to note, the main house and the guesthouse are attached, but there is a private driveway coming from Munsey Hill Rd to the guesthouse that wasn’t clear on our phone maps. Overall a great stay and great home!

We had a great weekend in Alton at Liz’s place. Liz was super responsive in the weeks leading up to our trip - and the house exceeded our expectations. Definitely the highlight of our summer.

This was hands down the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The home was absolutely beautiful—spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully put together with everything we could possibly need. It was even better than the photos, which is saying a lot! There is so much attention to detail, from the stylish decor to the little touches that made our stay feel extra special. The house book was incredibly helpful, filled with thoughtful recommendations that made it easy to explore the area like a local. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and clearly put a lot of care into creating a warm, welcoming space. Our dogs absolutely loved the yard—it was perfect for them to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. We truly didn’t want to leave and would love to stay here again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended!

This place and the hosts are a gem. Truly wonderful. I loved that Nicholas was friendly and proactive in welcoming us. They offered wine, early check in and even helpful recommendations for places to bring our dog to walk and join us for dinner! The house is clean and comfortable. We immediately felt at home which is great for our anxious dog. The weather was not great but did not dampen our weekend. We enjoyed watching the rain and fog on the lake through the picture windows while warming by the fire. The location is minutes away from everything and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and shopping everywhere we went. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to stay here for such a reasonable price. I am already thinking about the next time we book here and bring our family.

We stayed at Don’s place with 6 adults and four children. We had plenty of space to both sleep and spend time. There was plenty of seating. The hot tub was amazing and a great addition. The beds were comfortable and having a ceiling fan at night was amazing.

Super cute home with all the basic necessities. Awesome location, about 10 minutes to town and a gorgeous view of the lake. We stayed off season and came for a wedding so couldn’t enjoy the water but they had great options for water use if you’re going during a better time of year! Clean up at the end of the stay was easy enough and everything was labeled around the house so easy to get the house comfortable for you. This home has everything you need without all the frills so if you are looking for that, this wouldn’t be a great fit! Definitely enjoyed ourselves and all agreed we would stay there again in the future. Thanks again!

We had a great stay at Jordan’s place! Everything was exactly as pictured, and it was very clean. Location is very convenient, we went up for a concert and it was only a 5 minute drive. It’s also a short drive to Weirs Beach and lots of great restaraunts.

Amazing view, close to everything.. Very responsive and clean..Plenty of extra parking on the lower level if you’re pulling a camper or trailer..Was my first time renting a airbnb and it was a great experience..

Sandra's place is simply amazing. The setting right on the lake cannot be beat. The host provided so many thoughtful little extras that are not typical from an array of spices to bug spray and sun screen. We plan to come back and stay here again in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Renee and Dan's villa. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of four. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We truly enjoyed their gorgeous view of Lake Winnipesaukee, and the fireplace was a special addition to our fall weekend getaway. Renee was sure to check in to make sure we had arrived safely and everything was to our liking. We appreciated the sweet touches like the bottled water in the fridge and the s'mores kit upon arrival. We are very familiar with the area and usually stay in the inn near this villa but wanted to try something different this year. We had a lovely time. Beautiful spot to stay in as you explore the area, we were there for a concert and wish we had more time.

This is what New England dreams are made of. Gorgeous wood, features, surroundings, etc. The beds were comfortable, it was very warm (we stayed here in the Fall), the property is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace, access to our Netflix and Prime, the puzzles, and games. Fred's instructions were clear and easy to follow. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the nearby towns. We talked often about how we want to return with more family members. It was so memorable and perfect for our party of 4, but there's enough space for 8.

A very cute basement apartment below a family home with plenty of space to explore. We had only stayed one night but would’ve felt comfortable staying longer in this lovely space. The hosts provided many snacks in a little welcome basket as well as ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice retreat with a lovely space around them.

Thanks Virginia! This was the perfect stay for my son’s graduation. The location is easy to access Plymouth and Holderness. The apartment had everything I needed and your property is beautiful. Fortunately I did not meet up with any bears at Bear’s Nest.
